I liked the range of cars available for viewing. It felt like the salesman wanted to know your top end budget then went for that rather than being informed and getting you value for money. pushy with the warrenty extension add on. id say overall service has been below average but product was good. poor at providing the digit code for warrenty app. the car wasnt properly valleted i found a note offering james a mcdonalds. high refundable holding fee for no v5- understandable, id order another before buying to save cost in future.

Great experience at the Warrington branch. From our first visit of looking around, we found the layout very helpful with cars separated by brand and model. This made it easy to compare the prices of the same model, and well as comparing sizes of the different models. We then went away to do some more research and luckily the car we had decided on was then reduced by £500. The price of the car had already been very good (can see this when comparing models on autotrader) so an extra £500 off was a great bonus. We visited again where we had a really helpful member of staff looking after us - Rony. We went out for a test drive and was able to find out more about the car we were interested in as well as any extras and warranties available. The staff were not pushy when it came to the extras but fully explained the benefits of each so that we were able to make an informed decision. Rony was so friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable and made the process so easy and stress free. Rony went above and beyond to ensure our car was available to pick up as soon as possible and we were very grateful for this. Big thanks to Rony and the team for such great service, I have already recommended to family and friends when they are looking for their next car!

This is the very short version of events. I have raised this via Big Motoring World website also.
Saw three cars I wish to look at on Autotrader all Vauxhall Grandland Electrics, booked appt to see them at Big Motoring World Warrington, 20 miles away.
Initially process and salesman was fine, eventually agreed to purchase one of the cars, a 2025 Vauxhall Grandland. Took us for a test drive, answered a lot of questions. A piece of the dash vent/control was broken, I was told this would be repaired before collection. Stated it will be valeted and some marks would be polished out by the team before collection. Confirmed and checked at the time that all the charging cables are present, factory fitted car mats, owners manuals and service history record etc. Actually finished with a handshake, for me being old fashioned a good touch.
Was then asked for £500 deposit, produced credit card, was told cannot use this to pay deposit, I should have know from this point that things would not go well.
Then introduced to aftersales man. We agreed a collection in a weeks time. At this stage aftersales man said he will order the part and have it fitted before the agreed collection date in a weeks time. He then stated there is a factory recall on the car but he did not know the nature of this so he would check this out.
Phone call on day of collection by aftersales man, to say don't come as part not yet delivered. I asked what did he, aftersales man, find out about the factory recall. He had done nothing about this so said he would check it out and call me that afternoon at 2.30pm. I asked if he could check out the expected delivery date for the part also.
So it begins, no call at 2.30pm so I call at 4.15pm to see what is going on. He then states the factory recall was a safety critical one and so the car cannot be released before the work is done. He has checked with Vauxhall locally and it will be at best end of July or more likely beginning of August before the car can be fixed at the main dealership . Okay, I had agreed to purchase on the 12th June 2026. Aftersales man then states he would try other dealerships around Bolton area to see if this work can be done earlier, he would call me back on Monday 22nd June to let me know.
Surprise, no call on the 22nd. I call on the 23rd to ask what is going on. Was told by a Charlie who I was put through to that he would leave a message for aftersales man to call me tomorrow, 24th June.
Surprise, no call on the 24th June. I call on the 25th June, initially receptionist picks up as no one in aftersales picking up, receptionist is embarrassed and says she will get "someone" to call me back. This happens, yea! I now speak with another aftersales man with same name, not first aftersales man, as he is quick to point out. First aftersales man is not in work. Second aftersales man with same name, looked at notes on screen, no new information re the Grandland, it is likely to be August before the work can be done at Vauxhall main dealer. I state you have sold me a car that is not fit for purchase in the first place.
I have already removed my private plate and amended my insurance and taken the agreed monies out of an account ready to pay the balance and it seems for nothing now. He says the recall information is not just available on a website to see when they get a car, mmmmm! I state that if I am to wait around 2mths from the purchase date before I am able to collect the car, and in the way I have been treated, I would expect a discount on the agreed price. Not unreasonable me thinks! I am then given a story that the car is now in quarantine as unfit for sale, and it is not likely that they will keep it around for all this time. I asked if it would be put on the market when fixed, he said again not likely to keep the car around for this length of time, but he does not control stock. He would speak to someone to see if what I said could be considered.
Same name aftersales man then called me a little whilst later, yeh! and said after speaking to Regional Sales Manager that no reduction would be made as it cannot be assumed the car would be worth less in several weeks time, mmm!, if I am to wait for the car to be ready and repaired. He advised I accept a refund of my £500 deposit. I agree to refund of deposit, Second aftersales man with same name, says the branch at Warrington is new and some mistakes are inevitable. I am not provided with an email confirming return of deposit or told of any complaints process, he does say he is sorry.
I then check Autotrader at the end of this day 25th June and the Vauxhall Grandland Electric is back listed cheaper than before, I check again the next day the 26th June and it has been reduced in price again. Buyers Beware. New branch with some real horror stories here at Trust Pilot already. I am asked to remove names so have done.

Bought Audi etron gt from warrington, long waiting times and to many wondering chatting staff, 5 hr to buy a car,
Salesam was.great, after sales very poor, rang 5 times spoke to different people and no one ever rang back as promised.
Car looked good apart from damaged seats, payed got home and polished it,.found it has been in an accident, missing trim under bonett, plastic wasnt fitted correct so I did it, under plastics full of stones from crash, dont think the 200.point check is worth.the paper its printed on and it certainly shouldn't be with the service record as its only visual, found it had missed 2 services.and cabin filter was black, now booked in for brake fluid change as it hadn't been done, be aware as they come from lex leasing and sell em off ....

Have not picked up my car yet but happy to share visit experie centre.
Very bright and airy at Warrington branch. No one bothered us at all. We just browsed around at our leisure.
Knew car we wanted and has to be brought in from other store. But we were able to do a good deal based on me test driving it tomorrow. Hope all goes well. But would recommend this storw to everyone. No over bearing sale team. Just nice easy going.

It all started great, the salesmen were nice and gained our trust. We have come to realise that once the sale has gone through Big Motoring World do not care about their customers, within 24 hours our car was broken. An independent RAC mechanic who we were sent to informed us several things faulty with the engine and that Big Motoring World, who performed a ‘service’ the day of collection had put far too much oil in the engine causing problems. We returned to the Warrington branch to be told there is no after sales care at the branch and to call the after sales number. We have contacted the after sales to be told we have a ticket raised and are in a queue, we have no idea how long this might go on for, with no reassurance or timeframe given despite asking multiple times. We have been told if we continue to contact them we will be put back to the bottom of the ticket queue. This is really stressful and upsetting, we are now left without a car for the foreseeable future. We simply want to return the car for a full refund (which we are entitled to through consumer rights act 2015). We hope someone might be able to help us speak to the correct person from Big Motoring World to try and get this situation sorted for us as quickly as possible. We are not ones to complain however this situation and the responses from the company has left us with no other options. Be very wary buying a car from Big Motoring World.

As previously stated. They're all friendly and nice when doing a sale but as soon as the sales done they're not interested!
I purchased a car on 19/06/26 (4 days ago) I've got an issue with the 12v socket not working. It my eyes it's a quick fix, take it back and get the fuse sorted, but no, apparently now it's down to assurant to fix and their website is ridiculous!
They did a check list on the 19th and it states the socket is working, this is obviously a lie!
I would have avoided this company if I'd read the reviews first!

Would definitely recommend the Warrington branch! The reception staff were so friendly and the salespeople very knowledgeable. I didn’t opt for the extra warranty but the 3 months free is a good bonus. I visited a few dealerships whilst looking for the right car and this was definitely the best I visited due to the wide variety and friendly, professional service.

Had a really positive experience yesterday when going to have a look at what turned out to be my next purchase
Relaxed atmosphere, no high pressure sell on the car but the extra options were laid on a little thick, but in the grand scheme of things, not unreasonable to ensure your new investment is hassle free for the next few years.
Lachlan and Luke made things nice and easy but must make a special mention for James for getting the finance over the line on a difficult day yesterday- thanks guys
Coffee though- needs further investment (And snacks!!)

absolutely disgraceful! found my car online spoke to an agent who gave me a low and high part exchange valuation for my car which was acceptable so i paid a deposit and made an appointment to see the car at a venue 2 hours from where i live . Arrived and viewed vehicle , all good until i was then offered £2k less than the lowest valuation for a car in poor condition (which my car absolutely isn’t) given for my car ! so basically wasted a day, £50 in fuel and lost my deposit on the car i really wanted

I collected a Polestar 2 from the Warrington branch on Friday 5th June. The initial sales experience was excellent, Connor was fantastic to deal with, highly professional, and made the handover seamless. I am really happy with the car itself.
However, the car was handed over with a pre-existing "Park Assist System sensors blocked" error that was noted during the test drive. I opened a customer service ticket (Ref: 757167) on Monday 8th June to get this rectified, but despite the team promising a response, I have been met with complete radio silence for nearly a week.
I want to keep this car, but I need Big Motoring World to take responsibility for this defect and authorize a local repair or a booking at their Warrington site. I will happily upgrade this review to 5 stars the moment the aftercare team contacts me to get this booked in and resolved.

A great experience from start to finish, was welcomed with a smile and seen to immediately. Salesman (Daniel) was a very pleasant young man, and yes they try to sell a few options but were not too pushy.I got the vehicle I wanted at a great price and trade in was v competitive.
Picking up new vehicle was also dealt with swiftly, friendly and professionally. A great overall experience!

I went to the Warrington branch yesterday and the team there are excellent. A big shout out to Liam who was incredible and not at all pushy with sales. Luke was also fabulous too. I would highly suggest this branch

Avoid the Warrington branch. Absolute nightmare from start to finish.
Dodgy Financial Tactics- They undervalued my part-exchange at £600 and showed me a sheet proving they’d only raise it to £1,650 if I bought their "Smart Repair" package. Walked away, refused their add-ons, and sold it on Carwow for £1,750.
Held Ransom-Was lied to about the 3-day online reservation. The salesman claimed I’d lose the car that day unless I bought it on the spot, forcing me to re-reserve it in my husband's name just to buy time.
Rude Staff- Kept me waiting for ages, and when I mentioned my tight schedule, the salesman condescendingly told me I was "car shopping, not grocery shopping." The second he realised I wasn't buying their extra packages, he passed me off to someone else.
Chaos at Handover- I had to go to the post office myself to sort the tax. Arranged a 2pm collection so I could get my kids from school, but the car wasn't ready until 3:20pm. The delay caused my temporary insurance quote to time out and jump up, and I missed the school run.
Filthy Car- When it finally appeared, the upholstery was stained and the doors were dirty. I had to stand there pointing out dirt to the valeters.
Customer service admitted it was a shambles but offered zero compensation. Don't waste your time with them—case now escalated to the Financial Ombudsman.
