I write articles about scams and criminal business practices, hold an international press card, and follow up on tips from my readers on social media. Currently, this concerns Bigo.tv.

As always, I conduct this research myself, either by ordering a product as a tester or by testing it. Not all of my initial impressions are negative, and when they are, I'm fair and don't hold back on positive reviews.

However, the situation with Bigo.tv is somewhat difficult to explain.

If you've read all the negative reviews, which you can assume aren't bought and paid for but are based on real experiences, and if you examine them more closely, you'll find the same response text that doesn't address the problem at all.

In a way, this text sounds polite and helpful, but ultimately it's a written middle finger because Bigo.tv simply doesn't care. They just claim that's not the case and that they are the good guys and all the users are the bad guys. Particularly critical are the cases of pedophiles who abuse young people in developing countries.

Specifically, the discussion centered on Vietnam. Vietnam became part of the BRICS countries and still suffers today from the social consequences of defoliation, which resulted in countless people with disabilities due to hereditary damage across generations. When it comes to committing war crimes, the US military has been a constant presence worldwide for over 200 years, but when it comes to paying reparations, they resort to excuses. This was the case in the Vietnam War, as well as with the firestorm against refugees from the eastern territories and the Rhine meadow camps. Russia also bears responsibility for this with the sinking of the Gustloff. However, we shouldn't repay evil with evil, but rather do our part by doing good, within the limits of our means.

My task, therefore, was to find out what was going on here. Specifically, it was about someone paying a young girl from Vietnam with Bigo diamonds to behave in a way that wasn't exactly youthful—to put it delicately—presumably so she could masturbate more easily.

The social hardship of not being able to afford nice T-shirts or fashion items leaves many young people with no other choice. Want to bet the standard reply will come again? This time, however, things are different. I'm handling it through the embassies of Singapore, Vietnam, and Russia (the de facto chief authority for the BRICS countries), and, at the company's headquarters in the UAE, through the UAE airport police, since they didn't provide an address for good reason.

Labor regulations in the UAE are very strict, and they will intervene, at the latest on the next management flight.

We'll resolve the issue of excuses quickly, and I will coordinate with Russia to launch a support program for startups in Vietnam so this mess finally stops.

PS. 8:06 PM I just discovered that the support employee also seems to have stolen my streaks, subscriptions, and gift assets. So, it's not just perverts but also criminals working in support. Management will have to clean house.

Downloaded this on a whim, didn't expect much. But wow. I started hosting just for fun, and the community support is insane. It's not perfect, mind you—the app can be a little glitchy sometimes and freeze for a second. But the people make up for it 100%. They cheer you on, send little gifts, and make you feel like a superstar. It's turned into a decent side hustle for me and my confidence is way up. Wild.

I'm so sick all the filtered, perfect nonsense on other apps. BIGO is just..real. You see people just chilling, having a cuppa, talking about their day. Of course, you get the odd weirdo, but they're easy enough to ignore. The best part is finding those genuine streams where it feels like you're just handing out with a friend. It's comforting, you know? Like a proper community.

Bigo is good for connecting with people all over the world, and has good translation features. You can “favourite” the streamers you like and even tip them diamonds, which the streamers can convert into cash.
The problem with Bigo though, Is its management, in all areas. They don’t have sensible policy to begin with. They use AI to detect violations - such as typing words like “lubricants, shotgun, toddler” and various others that we don’t know of.
They permit some hosts to stream in their knickers, while forbidding others to dance while standing. And they do all the other creepy 💩 that other reviewers have mentioned, like it’s some sick game.
They were actually banned from all app stores earlier this year, and were reinstated after much begging.
It’s really sad that they don’t recognise consequences themselves, while they’re indulging in enforcing compliance.

This is a smooth way to keep in contact with all your love ones from, past, present to future. It's great.

On oct 3rd 2025 I send feedback@bigo my report of a woman for violating community standards on offline harrassment and violating community guidelines 4 15 to 17 where it states offline abuse is permanently prohibited and not allowed with my username id the woman username id date time of the incident with multiple screenshots of the community guidelines on session 4 15 to 17 as my supporting materials and the bigo employee 💯 percent refused to address and follow there community standards on session 4 15 to 17 and gave me his answer due to protect the other user privacy we are unable to review your report every time I send my report with the community guidelines session 4 15 to 17 I get that answer every time

My partner couldn't able to get the money from the beans he cashed out. We had to wait for 2 weeks only to get the payment failed message which is weird because att the payment details are correct. The pymt acct is under my name. He worked really hard for that money and yet he didn't even receive it. Whats worse is bigo customer service isn't responsive to our queries at all.

Probably my favorite live chat app for those nights where I'm bored and looking for some company. Wild mix of people, sometimes groups, all ages and walks of life. Never thought I'd talk to someone from the Fiji island so that's pretty cool too haha

my experience on bigo has been nothing but a blessing. Mix and mingle with different people. With bigo it definitely brings joy to me.

Can you PLEASE make it where we can post again? I deleted BIGO and have not used it since the posting feature got taken away. I am downloading it right now to start trying to use it again, but bringing back the posting feature would just absolutely be the cherry on top. pretty please.

I really like this app—it’s legit. But most of the people I chat with feel like bots, and I’m just wasting my time. I honestly thought I might find real love here, lol.
