Almost 4 weeks to deliver to UK, not as cheap as you think.

My £182.10 order turned into a total of £239.55 by the time duty, VAT and Parcelforce's £12 clearance fee were added. This equates to a 31.5% surcharge added to the headline prices so not as cheap as you probably thought.

Delivery time was woeful. The parcel was very slow getting out of Germany and Parcelforce seemed unable to deliver to my home address despite me paying the import invoice immediately and 3 calls to their customer services. In the end I had to drive to the depot to collect it myself after waiting almost 4 weeks in total.

Bike-discount. Sorry, never again.

Bought a two Sram red chains and when started to degrease one of them for the waxing process I noticed the chain was used!!! The package was un-opened ( and seemed to be a real Sram package) but the chain was full of dirt and completely used (wear marks all over the place). You can definetly see and feel that there’s no factory grease on it.

I think this is a very serious problem and a scam!! Unfortunately I bought the chain 2 years ago so I wont expect any refund…I still expect the company to answer something to my claim, but total silence

I had a terrible experience with BikeDiscount and I feel obligated to warn others.

I ordered a GoatLink 11, which their website claimed was compatible with my derailleur. Once received, I found out it was not compatible at all. Either they sent the wrong item or their description is completely misleading. When I contacted them, they refused to admit any responsibility.

Instead of owning up to their mistake, they told me I have to pay out of pocket to return the item to Germany – which is not acceptable under EU consumer laws, as this was clearly their error. They were rude and unhelpful in their replies, with zero willingness to offer a fair solution.

Their support is basically non-existent, and it’s clear they are only reliable as long as everything goes right. But the moment you have an issue, you’re on your own – they hide behind excuses and leave you with the problem.

This company is a disgrace. Don’t trust them with high-value purchases – if anything goes wrong, they disappear. Buy only very cheap items if you absolutely must, but be warned: if you need help or a return, it’s like dealing with a scam.

Superb prices, but customer service can be difficult to get a hold off, for example after they send you the wrong part.

I placed an order for an article and saw in the order confirmation that it had come through in the wrong size. I emailed immediately. First I was told the invoice amount cannot be increased for security reasons. I pointed out that the price is the same and no increase is needed. This piece of information was ignored, and support just kept reiterating the old message. When I let support know, I would like to use the EU cooldown right, the parcel was put in delivery and I was threatened with additional cost. Truly horrible experience. I have a long order history with this company, and, in all honesty, this is the first time things have gone off the rails. Maybe they are struggling to keep their head above the water like other online bike retailers. Sad to see.

Great store, with a very poor delivery service. I
have a bicycle workshop and everytime I order a product, they send an incorrect delivery address to DHL or DPD. If you are in Spain, you know already how terrible these companies are, nevermind when the store you order from doesn´t transfer the correct address. So if your in Spain, I would avoid using this online store as you are not garunteed to recieve the product.

And yes, Bike Discount people, I have my information correct on your store, I have complained twice already and I have spoken with your staff and a manager on two occasions. Yet ye say ¨its not our fault, but we are sorry we cant do anything now, just wait and see what happens¨.

Just find and fix the issue.

Although Bike-Dicount were pretty quick at processing and shipping my order, I am changing my previous 5-star rating to a 2-star rating.
I am trying to email them, but the link that says "to the contact form" does not work. Nowhere on the website is there a contact form or email address to contact them. Extremely annoying.

Good prices and a lot of products but I wish they could write a complete address on the package so my stuff gets actually delivered.

2 orders, both had incomplete address on shipping label, both orders with trouble at delivery.
I even opened a ticket with them the first time to let them now. Didn't help.

If your website has an address field, and the customer adds something in that field - PRINT IT ON THE BOX! ESPECIALLY FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS!

Bike-discount never disappoints regarding stock, price and delivery speed. Especially when it comes to the more expensive parts like suspension forms there is extra care for a speedy delivery. Like if they know I am in extra need of these products. I will be a long time customer.

Compared to other suppliers, who ship within 24 hrs and deliver within 1-2 days, the delivery takes too long!

I ordered a chain cleaner from them that I have been using for years.
However, the one I got from bike-discount didn't show any cleaning action, but damaged parts of my cassette.

I wrote several emails and even called them to invoke my statutory warranty under German and European law.

The two people I interacted with were very unfriendly or downright rude. They tried to negotiate using very childish arguments and even accused me of fraud.

It started wrong since I did not indicate the right CAP and I did not get my parcel. Unfortunately, bike-discount could not change address details on the go.

So I've ordered a new item and it arrived in 2 days.

Communication with staff - great
Speed - great
Packaging - great
Refund experience - great
Price - I've saved a good 20% compared to Amazon

Alles gut. Product as described and cheaper than anywhere else.

All went well, happy with the order, delivery and communication. I got what I paid for and within promised timeline. Definitely RECOMMENDED!

Bought 2 new "Shimano" chains, both measured 0.75 of use with a chain measuring device. They said, you must have measured wrong. Ridiculous, never will i buy from this shop again who seem clearly to be selling fakes.

They don't publish bad reviews of products you bought over there (in my case Shimano PD-EF202 pedals that had bad bearings, apparently a common issue with them, see other reviews on other sites)

I completely advise against shopping here.

The product I received has a different manufacturer’s code than the one on the website. It’s not what I expected.

The product had scratches. I reported it and only received a response saying that I could return the item.

You have to wait several days for a response to your complaint, and even when you get it, it doesn’t change anything. They don't care about maintaining good relationships with customers. For an incorrectly sent product and scratches, they only offer a return - without even covering the shipping costs. I do not recommend.

Good on price but customer service is awful. No problem purchasing items that don't require backup but good luck sorting a problem when it arises. Took a week to reply to an email (then given the wrong information on the email). Tried calling with no joy - call was dealt with by a non interested staff member. Looking to return a shock which was mis-sold but not feeling confidant that I will ever see my money (or that they even care)
