Defective product and poor customer service
I ordered a dog crate which arrived without the screws needed to assemble it. Because I was leaving on a road trip with my dog the day after delivery, I had to take part of the crate to a store to find and buy the correct screws myself. When I contacted customer service, I expected an apology and a straightforward solution, but the responses were defensive and lacked understanding of the inconvenience caused.
Rather than acknowledging the issue, they placed the blame on me for not contacting them sooner — even though there would not have been enough time for them to send replacement screws before I left, making immediate self-fixing the only practical option.
A small gesture of support or compensation would have resolved this easily, but the tone and approach made the situation unnecessarily frustrating. Disappointing product quality and terrible customer service experience.
