Horrifying Experience with DanTaxi in Billund – Avoid at All Costs
After traveling over 6 hours with two small children (ages 3 and 7) to visit Legoland in Billund, we were met with what can only be described as an outrageous and unprofessional taxi experience. Upon getting into the DanTaxi vehicle on May 25th, 2025 (after arriving from Oslo), the driver began yelling at us—for taking a short ride instead of a longer one that would earn him more money.
He went as far as to suggest we walk to Lalandia instead, completely ignoring the presence of two visibly exhausted children in the car. The atmosphere was hostile and distressing, especially for the kids, who sat silently while this man shouted and cursed the entire ride.
Frankly, it felt unsafe. The driver either had serious anger issues or was under the influence of something—either way, he had no business behind the wheel of a public service vehicle.
If this is the kind of person DanTaxi allows to represent their brand, you'd be better off walking—not because it’s cheaper, but because it’s safer.
Zero stars. Do better, DanTaxi.

Worst service ever
Used their App, days in advance before my travel day, for booking a taxi for pickup 3.45am, I received the booking number and expected all the be good
On the day of my travel I’m ready but I don’t see any taxi, 3.50 I call the company to be told they don’t have and taxi’s available and I question why there’s no taxi available when I booked the trip days ago?
Then he told me that I can NEVER expect a taxi to arrive even if booked and confirmed
I’m shocked, how can you trust a company like that?
If I book a taxi, get a confirmation, I EXPECT it to turn up
I arrived 45 minutes later in the airport than I expected!!!
(Just to mention it’s the company that’s the problem, not the taxi drivers, they do what they can to be at your service on time)
