First and last order :-)
I don't like their way of doing pricing. If feels like corporate tactics. The way it worked on their webpage was that delivery was free but for pickup you would get a 25% discount on the food.
In total, the difference for my single combo order was 85 kr. between pickup and delivery, which I did not notice until after paying - (note: it was also more than the 25% discount they write on their page).
When I got the food, it wasn't warm.
I wrote all of this in an email to them, but they didn't see it until after I gave them a bad review in their feedback formula, with their excuse being that my message "went to spam" - I literally used their contact formula on their website.
6 days later they got back to me and argued that my lukewarm food was in fact actually warm because they had data showing that food was prepared at 17:17 and picked up for delivery at 17:20, with their argument being that it's basically impossible for the food to arrive cold with this data.
They also wrote in the email that the combo deal I bought actually doesn't have any discount to it. I just bought a few dishes at their full price baked into a "combo deal" that's without any actual discount (with the protein I picked). It means that their price was misleading - back to my point about sketchy pricing.
I can see now they lowered the combo deal pricing with 10kr.
They gave me a 50kr gift card for my "valuable feedback".
Thanks Bindia.. 2 stars as the food was ok (ive had both better and worse) and arrived on time!

Our single combo deal price was calculated based on maiden price. Unfortunately, we realized that for the chicken customers there was no benefit other than free delivery. Thanks for pointing it out, we have corrected it.

Like any other website UI, there are always improvements. Our website does tell the price difference at a later stage. Thanks for your feedback, we’ll improve our UI and it will be clear from the beginning.
- Contact Form Response -
When we receive a contact form, our system generates an email notification. Unfortunately, due to a glitch in the system, the email was not generated. This glitch has already been fixed. Thank you for reaching out to us before leaving a review. Unfortunately, we could not get the best benefit out of it due to the glitch.
- Cold Food -
When we pour the food into takeaway trays, the temperature is 90 degree.
1. The order was received at 17:00
2. The order was prepared at 17:17
3. The order was picked at 17:20
4. The order was delivered at 17:28
I think 28 mins from receiving the order till delivered is pretty effective.
However, once the food leaves our premises, external factors (weather, how it is transported, etc) are out of our control.
- Correction -
Many points of your feedback are very valid and we have learnt from them and thanks for accepting the gift card. Atleast you will appreciate we have claimed our mistake and learned from it.

A RIP off!
The prices in this place have jumped by 35% over the past 12 months. Price gouging? I’d say so.
On top of that the man servingme for takeaway refused to delete the 4kr fee for a bag despite me bringing my own bag. I told him about the reasoning behind the law regarding minimising waste yet he was instructed to tell me it’s a compulsory charge. After I insisted he refunded me my money.

Unfortunately, This is >NOT TRUE<. We raised our prices back in January 2023 by approximately 10%.
Indian kitchen is very labour intensive & there are no ready-mades available, unlike other big cuisines. That makes us prepare from top to tow & being organic, we truly put our sweat and blood in procuring the high standard raw material.
Therefore, I respectfully disagree that we are expensive. An organic dinner (Curry & Rice) costs only 150 kr. Just the other day, I was in Espresso House, ordered a sandwich with a piece of cake and coffee, and my bill was nearly the same.
Many of our customers do know what Bindia stands for:
- Always certified organic (30-60%)
- No processed foods
- Everything is made from scratch
- Nothing is deep-fried
- No animal fat added
- No additives
- No preservatives
- No food coloring
- Environment-friendly packaging
- Next to “zero” food wastage
- We only use windmill energy
- Probably the healthiest choice among all Indians in Denmark.
**Compulsory Charge for Bags?**
You were *NOT CHARGED* for the bag, 4kr was given back to you by my colleague.
Unfortunately, the bag is auto-added to the order by our POS system since 99% of our customers choose our customized takeaway bags. (liquidy food is more safe in our customized bag).
I do apologize that he got confused about how to delete it from the POS system It made you feel he is not service-minded.

I sincerely apologize if our Dal didn't live up to your expectations.
In fact, Dal is a universe in itself. There are many varieties of Dal, from which 50+ I can count on my fingers right now. Similarly, there are several methods/recipes for making/preparing these varieties too. There are many restaurants in India that only sell Dal exclusively. :)
The flavour of Dal can vary significantly based on how much it is tempered with spices. We aim to strike a balance with our version, as not everyone prefers it heavily spiced.
Coming to extra taste, since our menu is extensive, we do have strong and flavoursome options as well. May I recommend you try some of the options that have a lot more kick? For example, Madras, Jeera Masala curry & Coconut Tamarind Curry.
-Tasteless Garlic Nan?-
I apologize if the Garlic Nan didn't match your expectations.
Extra garlic doesn't cost us much but with the same philosophy as I mentioned about Dal we have kept it moderate.
-Cold Food?-
It's unfortunate that Wolt delivered your order late & ruined your meal.
From my side upon checking our system's data I can see that we prepared the order as scheduled i.e. 19:43 however, unfortunately, Wolt's courier picked up the order at 19:58 (15 mins late) & we have no clue when was it delivered to your doorstep.
I wish Wolt had collected & delivered the order to you in time but unfortunately, that's out of Bindia's domain since we're just a food-making organ in your purchase.
Since your order was made and paid at Wolt.dk not at Bindia.dk & Wolt forbids us from dealing directly with their customers & doesn’t even share customer details in the original order; we have no influence on their couriers.

Good food but what is organic?
Love Indian food and the concept of organic Indian food is amazing for someone like me.
However, the past 5 times I’ve been there the staff really has no idea of what items are organic…? I was once told that only vegetables (and not meat) are organic but then last time I asked again and they were not sure which specific vegetables were. It’s a shame that when you blast everywhere you are 30-60% organic that it’s impossible to find out which ingredients are (and your own staff doesn’t even know).
Portions are also quite small and usually Indian dishes are for sharing but I would say you would need one dish per person.
Lastly, I wish you would use other containers for the bread as the foil lining is filled with pfas which is so harmful.
Taste wise I think it’s really nice and if you don’t care as much about it being organic or not, I would recommend this place for Indian take away. They are always quite fast and their locations are spread well out over the city.

I wish I could provide a concrete answer, but organic certifications in Denmark for takeaways and restaurants by the health authorities are percentage-based, not ingredient-based.
Not all ingredients are consistently available as organic in Denmark or elsewhere. Therefore, it's possible that the same dish you eat today has more organic ingredients than last time due to availability or percentage-wise calculation.
-Portions in Denmark?-
Our meal is 700 gm, (400gm curry & 300 gm rice). As a young man, I find one meal to be excessive for me.

-Packaging for bread-
You might be right about the foil lining; however, we are working on a better solution for the Nan’s packaging.

Fantastic Indian Food Delivery
I recently ordered delivery from Bindia and was thoroughly impressed. The food arrived quickly and was still steaming hot. The Tikka Masala was bursting with flavor, and the quality of the rice was excellent! The portions were ample, and the packaging was secure, preventing any spills. I have been ordering and dining at Bindia for 16 years and it’s fair to say that that the food quality has continued to go downhill in the last few years and the prices increasing in correlation. I ordered Butter Chicken this evening (after have ordered it and been disappointed the last 2 times) but this time was worse. The chicken tasted old and dried out and the curry was bland. Also not sure why raita was taken off the menu as well as the okra/lady fingers dish. I have gotten the butter chicken for a third of the price at MENY (Claus Meyer) and hate to say it but it’s better. You need to up your game again….

Everything is prepared on a day-to-day basis. Sometimes we cannot anticipate the sale of a particular item. It cannot be prepared right away during rush hours, unfortunately, we have to disable that particular item. This was the case with raita that day but luckily, it happens very seldom. Please accept our apologies.
-Okra-
We love Okra and had it on the menu as well, but unfortunately, it didn’t have much sale. With a heavy heart, we had to replace it with another vegetarian item.
