As always, service is top class. It's the 3rd watch I've bought from them and I always get what I'm told I'll get.

My watch arrived promptly, securely packaged and telling the right time(!). Some teething problems a couple of days later were dealt with promptly and helpfully by Scott, and the watch is now running perfectly as well as looking beautiful.

I sold a watch to BYW and can only say goods things about the whole experience. Communication was great. Scott offered a fair price for the watch and clearly explained how the process worked. I subsequently sent the watch and the agreed payment amount was transferred to me on the same day the watch was received by Scott, no haggling, no fuss just a smooth transaction. If only all watch dealers were this good!

I came across BirthYearWatches whilst looking for my next watch to add to my small but growing collection. In the ever growing pre owned watch market, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to find someone you can trust to buy a watch from. Scott at Birthyear has some lovely and unique watches, he keeps things simple but the detail in the description is always there. The short YouTube videos are great too. I feel I could trust Scott, I have now bought two watches from him in a short space of time and hope to buy more from him in the future…

This is my sixth purchase from Scott at Birthyear Watches and represented a considerable step up and my first purchase of a brand that may be considered to be a luxury one. So it was a significant one for me and based on previous experience I chose to go with Scott. It was the correct decision. The watch ticked all the boxes for me and the usual excellent YouTube video confirmed it. The purchase was as smooth as ever and the watch was with me via Royal Mail Special Delivery within a couple of days. The watch was in superb condition exactly as described. I couldn't have been more pleased. It came with the usual 3 month guarantee and a good quality travel pouch. A really nice touch. Nothing more to say. If you're looking for a no hassle purchase experience from a true watch enthusiast then look no further. Take a look at his YouTube channel he really does have a watch for everyone. From the photos, video and narrative, I could tell the watch had a rough life, but I wanted it and knew it would need to get serviced immediately. Scott was amenable to sending directly to my watchmaker, making it easy. When watchmaker opened it up he said there were problems and it would cost much more to fix than anticipated. Told Scott at BirthYearWatches, he offered the choice of another watch at a discount or refunding all my money. This is a high integrity store in a world where lots of places are not ethical. I'd buy from them again and I trust them implicitly
