Although not quite there, we are almost at the end of our house sale. Georgia, Hollie and Sandra (Andover Branch) have all been amazing. They have responded quickly, and understood the stresses of a house move. They have been compassionate, and never made me feel like I was any trouble (even though I fully admit I am an anxious mess!). I would highly recommend them, thank you all

My case was dealt with in a friendly and business like manner. All contact with the company was positive and straightforward and the legalese thoroughly explained as it occurred.

I would also commend the reception staff who were diligent, polite, attentive and always provided a welcome cup of tea or coffee!

Overall Bonallack and Bishop present good old fashioned style, manners and values that live side by side with the pressures of the digital age we all now find ourselves in.

I can highly recommend them to anyone requiring legal advice and support.

Bit disappointed in the communication overall ... It felt like there was a lack of updates and responses to phone calls/emails so it makes it difficult to comment on the behind the scenes work which was no doubt happening.
Reception staff were very friendly
We lost faith in the process overall as had to ask for amendments to documents, chase responses and then stamp duty was incorrect, had to chase building regs which wasnt in our area of expertise
The sale and purchase did go through in a 5 month time frame which I don't think is unusual.
I dont think our sense of frustration is unusual, I think this seems to be expected when buying/selling houses - I think the communication could be improved
In future I would likely ask at the beginning of the process what sort of response/communication we could expect so that we wouldnt be left feeling frustrated.

We used Bonallack & Bishop in our recent lease extension. Living overseas meant we had little knowledge of this process but our Solicitor Greta Whitaker guided us through each stage and answered all our questions both promptly and patiently!
I would use Greta again for any legal work and would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Having used the Salisbury Branch for two separate pieces of successful and easy conveyance before ,I thought as a returning customer they might be happy to offer me a basic ILA regarding a joint mortgage application with sole proprietor mortgage for my husband and I .

Well , the response was so rude I was a bit taken aback , apparently they won’t work with us , can’t work with us and wouldn’t give a reason why they can’t work with us. Was absolutely disgusted with the solicitor who called me from the Amesbury office who told me one of the directors had just stated ‘not to work with you’ and ‘can’t give you any reason why ‘

Left extremely offended it’s not hard to say if they just don’t have capacity and there is no reason for this to be a personal issue whatsoever .

Will stop recommending their services now and won’t be calling them again !

Great service provided by Greta Whitaker for my recent lease extension. Greta was responsive and also very friendly and supportive on the phone, when my freeholder gave us a very challenging deadline to complete the lease extension, Greta worked hard to expedite matters and my lease extension was successfully completed. Also, Greta colleague William Parsons gave me very good advise which directly helped with my new ground rent. Excellent service, thank you.

The service from reception to the senior personnel was second to none. I used this firm for a complex conveyancing transaction, which required speed and accuracy. The solicitor kept me informed at all stages and provided advice that significantly reduced costs for me. Great service.

Having just completed the sale of our property in Bath, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Alexandra Barker and the rest of the team of Bonallack & Bishop Solicitors, Fording bridge for there very helpful and professional guidance throughout the conveyancing process, which at times has been challenging. Its always reassuring to be able to speak honestly and openly when working together towards a mutual goal, this in our opinion is priceless! We would highly recommend others to engage with this firm of true professionals for any conveyancing needs.

My brother chose this firm to deal with my late mother's estate and probate. I was left out of communications, 4 different solicitors involved, mistakes made with completing forms, ignored concerns raised, manager blamed people who had left the firm rather than realising she should have been responsible to monitor their work, a very bad experience. I eventually called in the legal Ombudsman and moved the case to a different solicitor. The legal Ombudsman upheld my complaint, but since then my new solicitor has found further errors in the work completed by Bonallack and Bishop. I am writing the review to warn other bereaved families as I would not want anyone who has lost a loved one to feel as disrespected as I did when vulnerable and grieving.

We had to get a lease extended and had to deal with a really nasty and unhelpful Landlord who just worked the system completely. Luckily I was introduced Jake Holmes at Bonallack & Bishop and he made it so easy and sorted everything for us and he had all of the contacts to asist him and us. In all honesty from the moment we started working with Jake he took all the pressure off of us and did everything and in the end he got us a good deal.

I approached Bonallack & Bishop in June 2022. My initial contact (who has since left) was very informative and took time to explain the process to me, which is why I chose to take on the services of the firm. Later, I found Dinshaw efficient, knowledgeable and matter of fact which I really appreciated. Dinshaw helped me get the outcome I was hoping for and I am grateful for that. I have since engaged B&B for some further work.

Dealt with Jennifer and Maria in Amesbury for my house Sale and Purchase and they were a brilliant team and a fantastic support to both of us through all the ups and downs through it which were out of their hands. Always there for any questions and nothing was ever too much for them.

Amesbury office, Not impressed at all. Pathetic policy of not allowing a family member in with a client that's having memory issues. Even to just be there without saying anything. Apparently she's a specialist in dementia , I find that hard to believe. Her customer service needs work as her bedside manner stinks. The brush off reply to my complaint was a total cop out.

Excellent service from Bonallack & Bishop for a lease extension. Jake Holmes handled the process in a professional and timely manner, communication with him was exemplary. After previous bad experiences with local solicitors dealing with Jake was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended.

Hollie Jarvis from Bollanack & Bishop was absolutely great from day 1 through to completion. I was buying a property, I had lots of silly questions but Hollie always responded quickly which I appreciated hugely. From my experience I would recommend using Bollanack & Bishop.
