The fees are so high it feels like you're being robbed.
Examples:
* withdrawal fee crypto/fiat: 40CHF/20CHF
* quarterly minimum crypto custody fee 62.5 CHF
* account closing fee: up to 500CHF

Customer service is very responsive and supportive though.

Completely disgusting company, hit with custody fees for an account i never used and per fees made no explicit mention of custody fees even where nothing is held in the account.They since updated their terms in November 2025 and asking me to pay on back-dated basis. They also charge 20CHF for withdrawals and 500CHF to close the acount. All they want is to trick you with costs and charge money. Bunch of blood-sucking vampires that only give Switzerland a bad-name. Shame on you.

Terrible company - avoid at all costs! My account at Bitcoin Suisse has held no cryptocurrencies since April, yet I was still hit with a demand for payment exceeding CHF 400 in custody fees, even though no actual custody services were performed during this period. Despite pointing out that my account was empty and inactive, they refused to reverse the fee or address the issue. Most importantly, this unjust fee structure was never clearly disclosed to me when I opened the account. Had I known, I would never have left an account with no assets sitting open for so long.

Excellent! Their workforce is one of the company’s greatest strengths.

They have the best customer service ever. They really do try their best to help you however you need help, also for special weird cases (as happens in crypto).

They stand out to me for, by themselves, by giving customers free money on blockchain splits. When a blockchain forks you will have token on both chains. They then realized those alternative tokens for me (which they didn't trade) and creditted me the amount though I didn't ask for it (or knew of it before they wrote me).
They also did this way back (I've been customer since 2018), when this was close to unheard of.

They have a easy to use app and what’s better is the service and professional expertise I get from my client manager over the phone.

Worst company ever, out of nothing starting to charge you several hundreds and there's nothing I could do about it

I've been through countless cryptocurrency exchanges over the years, thanks to my involvement in high-frequency trading. Bitcoin Suisse doesn't offer this kind of trading, and their fees are astronomically high for such activities. Therefore, I used their platform as a sort of "bank" for a smaller amount, banking on the possibility that I might ramp up my account in the future. I chose them because I'm Danish, and Bitcoin Suisse was founded by a fellow Dane.

However, after years of inactivity, they decided at the end of 2022 to terminate my account and confiscate all my funds. I later discovered this was part of their strategy: they target what they consider small fish, knowing these individuals are less likely to take legal action due to the high cost involved. This brazen, unscrupulous behavior from Bitcoin Suisse is nothing short of shocking. They claim they sent an email, but I never received it. According to their terms and conditions, if you don't respond, you're entitled to a payout in fiat currency. Yet, they refused to give me even that.

So, at its core, this is profoundly fraudulent. If you ever consider dipping your toes into the cryptocurrency world, steer clear of Bitcoin Suisse at all costs if you don't want to be utterly plundered by what I consider to be more egregious and shameless villains than even the leadership of FTX.

In summary: for tasks you can manage through your account, the process is quick and efficient (such as changing currencies, accessing tax documents, etc.).
However, when it comes to customer service, it's very poor. Be prepared for long delays.
For example, with staking: online, they state that you need customer service to process an order, but when you reach out to customer service by email, there’s no response. If you call, you're told it’s the wrong method for placing orders, and even after a week, you're still left without a clear solution.

Terrible customer experience. I’ve provided them details to transfer fiat nearly 2 weeks and have asked for an update near daily after it got to a week. No answer. Not even an acknowledgement. Also trying to coordinate a 2FA reset. Again no response. I’m assuming my funds are safe but this certainly erodes trust in a massive way. They are getting out of the private account side of business so I’m assuming this means people like me no longer matter enough to even reply. Send me my funds and I’d be happy to never work with you again.

Started ok and was allowed to withdraw small amounts. Then I hit an unexpected withdraw limit, I.e. number of withdrawals.
They told me I had to deposit more money to upgrade, I asked if this would enable withdraw rights and was told ‘yes’ - so I upgraded.
I was immediately requested a tax payment, I asked if after this I could restart withdrawals, I was told ‘yes’ - so I paid the tax.
I was then immediately asked to submit 1100 USDT extra to verify myself even though I had already been using the system and sent 2 separate blocks of USDT the same morning! At this point I had twice been told withdraw facility would be re-enabled but that turned out to be lies.
I refused to send the 3rd demand for money and asked for my deposits back. They suspended my account and told me my money was gone.
Terrible experience - stay away from this.

Timely support by experienced Account Managers ( Lion & Can ) plus customer friendly systems make Bitcoin Suisse a great experience .
The fund flow to and from BTCS is easily handled with systems with strong safety features .

They cancelled my account but after all good customer service

I signed up in December, did the video call validation and waited, and waited for them to validate my account. They asked me to change error in my application in January and I waited again... now in March I havent heard anything still. When signing in on my account they now ask me to accept a minimum funding of my account of 500K CHF, something new they now apply for new customer signing up.... I wrote their customer supports and have now waited weeks. I start to believe they really dont want any new customers to sign up...

Great and user-friendly interface for amateur crypto traders. Really easy to trade and simple portfolio view. Very polite and professional account managers. Great experience overall ☺️
