I have used BD for years but - as of now, I would not recommend them to ANYONE! A few days ago BD quarantined my old Photoshop.exe file completely blocking me from using the app. I've used this app without issue for YEARS. Suddenly BD has an issue with this harmless app. I found it sitting in the quarantined area and do you think there is a simple "RESTORE" button. Nope! You've got to navigate through multiple other screens to create an exemption. BTW: there's an "automatically create an exemption when restored" which I had switched on but when I created an exemption, the next day BD quarantined it AGAIN and this time it's gone, gone. I've been back and forthing with support. Downloading files. Running SYSLOGs emailing screenshots. I can tell you now, I will NOT be renewing my subscription because this has been a complete joke.

Total Scam company and theivesI had the misfortune to be coned by this company and bought their full package. If you are not terribly tech savvy, it's useless. the amount of popups and sign in every time you go to do anything makes it unusable. To add the Cherry on top, for the first time ever, I got both a virus and malware on my laptop that they blamed me for saying "it's the sites you went to, nothing to do with us!" yup for real that's what the help desks said!
Then it came to renewing! I didn't want to renew shocking, right? Over a month prior to my renewal date, I cancelled my subscription through my account. I followed that up by an email confirming that I won't be charged for another year of a useless software. They confirmed in writing that my subscription was cancelled correctly and I won't be charged. Guess what?! I got charged for another year!
Now they are arguing and asking for all kinds on info including my credit card details which they don't need as all payments were through PayPal. in short, this is not antivirus anything, it's a full proper scam. Stay away. I wish I had seen all the actual customer reviews instead of articles recommending them through various tech magazines that undoubtably this Romanian scam company paid for positive reviews. I can't see anyone ever actually using this company and being happy with anything they provide. They are a scam every step of the way.
If you see a positive review it's not real. It's auto generated or paid advertising. Don't do it. you will regret it

On Friday 25th August 2023 I purchased Bitdefender Total Security for 5 Devices 1 Year for $77.98 so I could protect my devices from hackers, malware, viruses. Also my computer will be clean now thanks to Lily for recommending it to me.

I've been using Bitdefender for a few years. It has saved me from many attempts to compromise my desktop. Recently I subscribed to VPN Premier and Password Manager. Today their Support patiently and efficiently helped me to install them.

Careful with subscriptions to Bitdefender!
I inadvertently bought 2 products from this company in Australia, because the screen for confirmation popped up twice during payment processing.
I immediately contacted the company and after a 28 minute wait was connected to their customer service.
Although the company has a 30 day money back guarantee, the staff member did not have authority to refund the money, saying he needed to refer it to "senior sales representatives".
2 days later (!), and in spite of 2 emails to the company, I have neither heard from them nor have I received a refund of the 2 x $44.99 I have paid.
