This is a honest company

The billing support team was very helpful. They answered all of my questions and helped me complete what I wanted to do. I had a wonderful experience and felt relieved afterwards since you never know how hard it will be. I would recommend them for any help that is needed since they were very polite and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Don’t do business w/ Bits Of Cream!

I was with BOC for almost 4 months. In that time I experienced technical problems with my weblog that required some trouble-shooting; a few things that I did wrong and learned from, others that required assistance. BOC was consistently unavailable to me for that assistance. They make their contact information available, even tout that they have the “best customer service in the industry – 24/7” - but I was never able to connect by phone (always, “…unavailable-to-take-you-call…” message), their website chat gurus were gone (in all fairness, I connected twice; the first time my guru left me on cyber-hold for 3 hours and then disappeared, the second time was after I’d switched web hosts and simply wanted my guru to connect me with a Manager, which she refused to do – I have the transcript), my e-mails were never returned, and “tickets” were either ignored or summarily “closed” without anyone contacting me or resolving the issues addressed. A month ago, my weblog was down for about a week. I went on-line and posted a review expressing my despair. Now, this had been the only time BOC even acknowledged me. They responded by explaining that a virus had ravaged my website & that in everyone’s best interest my site was shut down, scrubbed clean of all my files (like an idiot, I didn’t back-up), and had installed a “$250-MaAfee Security Suite” for my inconvenience & to prevent this from ever happening again. In my opinion, it happened again – but I don’t know because nobody ever told me what happened. They also gave me $25 credit to be applied to service renewal. The problem there was that I had paid $57.12 for a year’s service in March, but they changed me to a semi-annual plan which renewed in December. No one was able to answer that problem either. So, it is no longer about the $57.12. I told J******r (chat guru) that “I will get my $57.12-worth,” and she took it like I’d made a terroristic treat. No, J******r – don’t take this personally, just admit that all of my issues were valid, and that my business relations with BOC were corrupted due to your utter irresponsiveness and lack of client-care. BOC has made me a better consumer of cyber-services, although a bit more cynical – but that’s not a bad thing. Thank you for the lesson, BOC: I thought the world would end when my baby (my weblog) was in trouble and I lost all that time & effort, the credibility, and those potential subscribers… But, it didn’t. That, Bits-Of-Cream, is worth my $57.12.

Thanks to Danny

Danny with tech support over at Bits of Cream did a magnificent job helping me with my website. I open a live chat with them and ended up receiving a full web design for free for my charity. I had no experience with web development so to help me out Danny contacted their web design team and they built a very interactive website within two days, now that's awesome customer service. I highly recommend Bits of Cream's web hosting.

Great Customer Support

I've had service with Bits of Cream for a couple of months now and they have been amazing. I was a past customer of Godaddy and they were terrible. I chose to go with a company that takes their customers serious and I've found that with Bits of Cream.

Your Search Should End Here

I had been through the ringer so to speak with other hosting companies. I was with Hostmonster as a starting hosting company for my web site and was always having down time and spent HOURS chatting with tech teams and such to get my site up and running on a regular basis. With their team you never knew if you were getting someone knowledgeable in the area or not. I'm trying to grow my business and take care of my children at home - I don't have time for that. So after a major outage (for the 3rd time in the year and no refunds were being issued) I had enough and moved on.

From their I went to Arvixe. They were about in the same price range and seemed nice. But with all the trouble going through a site transfer and down time after a promise it wouldn't happen - that was a bad start for me and could see where it was going. So I took a deep breath and thought I'd be stuck going back to Hostmonster. Then I found Bits of Cream.

Bits of Cream is A LOT better you get what you pay for. I'm paying a little more, but my site is really up 99% of the time - compared to being down 40-50% of the time. The service to get things repaired are quick - usually within 1 hour, but generally about 15 minutes for me. Many times the tech team already has an issue discovered and is working on it before I contact them! That's something I didn't get from either of the above service providers. Maybe the other guys work for small town sites with hardly any visitors, but I get quite a bit of traffic and run a large site so performance and a good tech team is a MUST. If anyone wants a RELIABLE service, go with Bits of Cream. I've been with them for about 6 months now and have been nothing but happy with them.

Down time and technical difficulties will happen with anyone - they're computers and that's the downfall, but the less the better. With Bits of Cream you get more service, faster site speed and a great staff to help! I never felt so passionate about writing a review (without being compensated) as I am for this company.

I wouldn't use it if were the last company on this planet

Bits of Cream used to be called PurpleLegend web hosting. That company went down without notice. The same owner (Mark) opened this new company.

I was able to trace this because my credit company would review the case using the payment name and not company name. The stop was put on PurpleLegend web hosting, and the name and address matched the final stop that was from Bits of Cream with same name and location.

Their service was okay at best. Was hard to do things, they use two different sites to manage things. One is their website that does the ticketing issues. The other was a cPanel type management server that takes care of everything else on your website/s. It was okay at best.

They have excellent customer service till you want a refund. In that case, they will close out your case within 24 hours. You have to contact them multiple times. Even then, no refund will go through. Had to stop it from the credit card to file a claim.

I wouldn't go with the same owner, basically same company if there were no other provider out there. You usually get what you pay for, but in this case, you get nothing for what you pay for. It's a good thing Amex takes care of their customers.

Reading all the comments, I got a feeling Woopy Wooper is bits of cream. I have no faith someone could pull a 180 turn on such a terrible company.

If you're new to hosting these guys are you best hope.

I owned a site a while ago but even then I didn't know where to start. I was with godaddy unfortunately. I'm happy the job these guys are doing with the fast hosting, friendly support and amazing uptime.

If you love someone: Recommend Bits of Cream
If you hate someone: Recommend a host like godaddy

I highly recommend BOC!

I had no experience in how to build a website and the team at Bits of Cream held my hand all the way. I own a restaurant here in LA, and sales have risen because of my beautiful site. Thanks BOC!
