Went to the Harp in Albrighton, asked for a dry white wine, none available except chardonnay. Apparently had not had the pinot grinot for a week and now no savignon blanc we spend a lot of time there but how can a pub have no dry white wine for a week. Bar staff complaining to customers about it. Landlady nowhere to be seen.
The old bulls head in redhall road gornal is a nice atmospheric pub which I go in on a hop and a catch. I'm not a beer drinker but a lager drinker and they have beers to suit.
My one disappointment is that I sometimes play the gaming machines in pubs.
This particular occasion I put in £40 which is unusual for me but I was 'chasing' my losses. When the machine paid me only £10 after I'd clawed back £30 I reported it to the manager who told me he'd contact them immediately.
I left my name and number but as per usual no £20 refund, oh well, to be expected I suppose
