With roots firmly planted in the heartland of the Swedish textile industry, Blåkläder has a long and proud history of workwear production.
Today, you will find Blåkläder's high-quality work clothes in the world's dirty workshops, muddy construction sites, demanding work environments and among welding spatter and sparks.
We develop, produce and sell work clothes, gloves and safety shoes for professionals with high demands on function, quality, durability and design.
Our driving force lies in the challenge of developing products that make our customers' everyday lives safer, clearer and more comfortable.
Our high-quality workwear includes work trousers, jackets, overalls, shorts, pirate trousers, t-shirts and long-sleeved t-shirts. The most prominent categories that we have workwear in are flame retardant, warning, craft, industrial/service, painters, rainwear, transport and workwear with stretch.
Our work gloves and ergonomic safety shoes are of the highest possible quality and not only protect, but also far into the future, so you can focus on your job and nothing else.
In addition to Sweden, we have representation in the following countries: Norway, Finland, Denmark, Great Britain, Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Iceland, Austria, Canada, USA and Japan.
In the factories in Sri Lanka and in Myanmar that produce our work clothes, sustainability is the main guiding light. A clear example of this is that a couple of years ago our two factories in Myanmar have achieved the highest level available for sustainable buildings, LEED Platinum. In Sri Lanka, where we also have several production units, one of these factories has achieved LEED Gold, the second highest level.
For us as manufacturers of workwear, the certifications of LEED Platinum and LEED Gold are receipts that the factories where the garments are produced are best in class when it comes to environmental sustainability, which is an important step on the way to creating sustainability throughout the entire value chain.
