While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Paid top $$$ ($300 US) for Ultimate Guide to Plasticity. Got stuck on the first actual modeling video on use of the 2ⁿᵈ tool, although I followed along exactly, and double checked my work. So, as the videos instruct, I posted on their Discord channel what I did, with pictures showing my result was different from the video, which would not let me proceed.
After a couple hours, I got a response, from Ryuu, but he just blew me off with a "click here, here, and you're done", clearly not having taken any time to read my post showing that I had done exactly what he had done and showing him that it did not give the expected result. So, I messaged him now directly, to which he immediately reprimanded me for messaging him.
I sent him:

I don't think you understood that my question is from Modeling Lesson 2. Blockout Main Body of the Ultimate Guide to Plasticity! I can use the tool just fine, it no longer works like it did for you, and being this new to Plasticity, I have no clue what to do to move forward with my $300 tutorial and $300 tool. Not to mention I never recevied a response regarding a payment error in which I lost out on the BlenderBros discount.
After asking me what I meant by being brushed off, responded:

we sold over 1000 copies of that course and you are the first one strugglign with this mate, thats one, i bet other ppl simply tinkered around and learn ed something, if you always want to follow pppl around you wont get far, thats one, two i did not blew you off io showed you a way to quickly add a brifgr, if its too round then plkay with the settngs and learn how the new tools works
Gaslighting is NOT customer support, and clearly he has no idea that customers expect better treatment.
Definately NOT a company to do business with, as you will get no support, their training is already out of date, they have no intention of helping you and are not updating it! Moreover, like me, if you ask for help, they will just ban you from their Discord page immediately.
He even mocked my email to him explaining I would be posting this review and said, "Good, let us know once the review is up, we will run another promo. We make a ton of money on stuff like this." Wow!
BTW, I have a lot of experience modeling, having completed a 2 year project in 3DSMax!
