After care service
I purchased some blinds in 2016 and recently had an issue with the controls. Following a phone call to the Company they sorted out which part I required and sent it first class post free of charge. This is an excellent example of customer aftercare and I cannot thank them enough for their help.

During such a busy period, the timeline between placing the order and receiving the finished product exceeded my expectations and the team was always there to assist with any queries. Delivery to (NI) from mainland UK was super quick. Excellent service!!!
After receiving my product I was thrilled with the quality and the fitment was spot on.
Installation was easy, as all mounts were provided(although had to grab extra screws/wall plugs which was no issue as they were lying around). Total install for 2.4 m x 1m recess blinds took around 30 minutes.
Again the blinds were pre packaged and all it needed was the mounts installed to hold it which easily clipped into place. I would definitely be back for additional blinds and would recommend this company to anyone even if you are not too comfortable with installing as it was so simple for even such a large blind size.
Well impressed
From the beginning we have been very impressed. Starting with the selection of shutter samples through the ordering process and on to the delivery. We had good communication from the customer service side when our order was lost in transit and the order needed to be remade. The shutters came to us well packaged, clearly marked and were exactly as ordered. Fitting was simple and they look great. One thing was that the screws supplied were completely inadequate for the job, in my opinion, but not such an issue to make us give less than the 5 star rating.

I am reluctantly writing this review following one of the worst consumer experiences I’ve ever had. It’s long, but I really do encourage you to read it to the end.
I ordered almost £1300 worth of shutters online from Blinds-UK and had to confirm the details over the phone. I then received an order confirmation confirming several (but not all) aspects of my order.
They falsely claim shutters will be delivered within ~3-4 weeks, mine took 1 day short of 8 weeks. I spoke to the company whilst waiting and they apologised for the delay caused at the factory. At the same time they continued to advertise the short lead time for new customers.
When the shutters eventually arrived they were :
- incorrect
- broken
- v poor paint quality
- missing parts
The shutters supplied were not what was submitted on the initial order, not what was confirmed on the phone (incorrect frame profile). The company have since denied responsibility and have hidden behind T&Cs saying it’s MY responsibility. The partial order confirmation sent after the call did not clearly state the frame type (it was coded/abbreviated and absolutely not clear, which the company have accepted).
One shutter had 5 louvres broken. I was ‘reassured’ that this was a common issue, and sent parts to repair the shutter myself!
The paint finish is very rough. Again, I’ve been ‘reassured’ that the finish is like that because their factory has dust flying around it(!) and it can’t be helped. I would strongly recommend they improve their excuses. The finish is poor due to poor preparation of the wood (splintered or fuzzy in areas), and too much paint being applied causing drip marks.
Hinge pins and countless magnets were missing. Again, I’m required to fix this and am about to drill holes into the rear face of the shutter to put in what is missing. Should this go wrong, of course, I will not be able to claim anything.
One of the more humorous points is that when they send out replacement parts they link to videos on YouTube of how to fix the shutters. The videos belong to other companies, and aren’t their own!
Please note, this company do NOT provide shims for when you need to pack out the hinge or the frame to level uneven window recesses.
Despite several further issues around the the squareness of one of the panels and two panels not being big enough, they continue to be adamant that i have “not installed correctly from the beginning”. They tell me that the frame isn’t square despite a spirit level being held to it showing it is, and they tell me that because I’ve ordered a specific type of shutter frame, they can’t be held responsible for, pretty much, anything.
I’ve also been told to adjust the hinge in a way that is impossible due to the placement of the screws (factory-fitted), the response to the image of this hinge was “the factory disagreed with the fact that the hinge from the picture sent is not having the screws positioned correctly”.
If this wasn’t such an expensive nightmare of an experience I would be laughing at the incompetence. Instead I’m in total despair
I was promised a 5% partial refund, but only due to the delay to the order, this has not been processed at the time of writing this.
I have been refused any further refund or gesture of goodwill.

Outstanding Customer Service from start to finish
Outstanding customer service from start to finish. All staff very helpful and went to great lengths to ensure I had my measurements correct and was ordering the right product for our window styles. I was very impressed with their attitude and that they cared I got the right thing and wanted to make sure before taking my money and processing the order. Quality of shutters is excellent too and were by far the cheapest company we looked at. Would 100% recommend and will definitely use again when needed.

Ordered a shutter and told it will only take 25 working days and after chasing the order it took a total of 33 days to deliver. On thier website it states 15-21 days. What a load of rubbish!
When it arrived the paint finish on the shutter was poor. Contacted the company and they told me they would send out some spare parts for me to repair it. I've never heard of a company asking their customers to repair their faulty product.
The repair was very difficult to do and certainly nothing like what they make out on their utube video.
Very poor service and will not be ordering from them again.

Worse experience ever! First I was impressed to get the shutters within 20 days so I was excited, first order came , with broken parts so they brought new part after 2 weeks ! Then again the part came with not screws on one side !!! Then they apologised saying there is new ppl working around !!!! So we had to wait another 2 weeks!! And now the measurement is wrong !!
Instead of 100cm brought 95% leaving small gap and now we are fed up and my husband trying to place some wooden panels to hold in place.
I should have gone with other company’s and they install !

Lovely shutters and fantastic service. Ordered 2 shutters and was told delivery mid Jan 2023. To my surprise and delight was told delivery before Christmas. Unfortunately only 1 delivered. Got on to company and immediate response that due to human error the order had been misread as one. Was told that they would get the other one made asap with delivery in Jan 2023 and would give me 25% off by way of compensation. Refund duly paid into my account and shutter arrived 18th Jan. Both shutters are lovely, well worth their money and cannot praise their customer service enough. If I want any more blinds/shutters will definitely be using this company - would be a fool to go elsewhere. Highly recommended

I ordered a Roman blind for kitchen before Christmas it has now arrived and been hung and I’m very pleased with it. It makes the kitchen look better and was very good value
Great looking blinds and good customer care.
The blinds look great and the measuring directions were enough to get the right size.
There was an issue with the first delivery but after contacting them, they swiftly got in contact and proceed to send for free the amended order to be installed.
I found they rely on plastic chains that has less weight that metal counterparts, this makes that the chain won't hang properly and require to be pulled by a bracket bolted to the wall. I would rather prefer to use metal chains and dead weights to keep the strings straight.

Great customer service. Ordered 2 blinds nearly 3 years ago and been perfect until the side winder stopped working.
Fearing I'd need to spend over £100 on a new blind I reached out to the customer service team to see what they could do and without any issue, a replacement part was sent.

Ordered my blinds 23rd July and too date have not received them. Communication between the company and the buyer is very poor! Not able to speak to someone without submitting a query form. I don’t think I would use the company again or recommend.
