Information provided by various external sources

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. is an American video game developer and publisher founded on February 8, 1991 under the name Silicon & Synapse by three graduates of UCLA, Michael Morhaime, Allen Adham and Frank Pearce. Based in Irvine, California, the company originally concentrated primarily on the creation of game ports for other studios before beginning development of their own software in 1993 with the development of games like Rock N' Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings. In 1994 the company became Blizzard Entertainment Inc before being acquired by distributor Davidson & Associates and later by Vivendi. Shortly thereafter, Blizzard shipped their breakthrough hit Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. Blizzard went on to create several successful PC games, including the Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo series, and the MMORPG World of Warcraft. On July 9, 2008, Activision officially merged with Vivendi Games, culminating in the inclusion of the Blizzard brand name in the title of the resulting holding company, though Blizzard Entertainment remains a separate entity with independent management.[3] Blizzard Entertainment offers events to meet players and to announce games: the BlizzCon in California, United States, and the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in other countries, such as Paris, France and Seoul, South Korea. Thankyou blizzard

Well, I didn’t expect to see the negativity I have in these reviews. On the other hand this time, I am very pleased and grateful for the guys that work here. My G Ceenthyle, helped me retrieve an old WoW account I had no access to because of old email issues. The response was rapid, my whole entire problem had been resolved within hours. I had gone from thinking a WoW account had been wiped, to seeing all my old babies once again. I’d just like to say thank you to Ceenthyle and all his boys. It is greatly appreciated and I wish you the best of life. Thankyou for kicking starting mine back up

Hi i just bought a subscribe for wow…

Hi i just bought a subscribe for wow tww and after 37days playing normaly dungeons and raids my account got banned for no reason after that I submit a ticket and this was my words:
Dear Blizzard Support Team,

Thank you for your previous responses. However, I must express that the issue with my account ban due to "Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy" has not been resolved.

I would like to reiterate that:

The account was gifted to me by another player, and I have never engaged in any exploitative, abusive, or unauthorized activities.

My gameplay has been limited to normal activities such as dungeons, raids, and quests.

I have always complied with Blizzard’s Terms of Service and Code of Conduct.

Given these facts, I kindly request a manual review of my account by a senior specialist or a dedicated team. I believe this ban may have been applied mistakenly or due to an automated system error.

Please let me know if you require any further information or evidence from my side to assist in this investigation. I am more than willing to cooperate fully.

Thank you very much for your understanding and support. I sincerely hope for a fair reconsideration of my account status.

Best regards,
and after that they didn't even look at my ticket and some bot answer my ticket that I break their rules and I didn't
now its about 1 week im trying to contact with them still bots are answer my tickets so need help for this

game is consistently crashing and have memory leak, company's customer service doesn't care about the issue. and don't genuinely try to fix the issue. You submit a ticket, you get a generic response, you reply by saying the issue still exist, they respond by saying our resources are limited and close the ticket and tag it resolved

Blizzard banning my 11 year old hearthstone account for playing their game.

I’ve had my hearthstone account since 2014. I’ve paid for content and supported the game ever since I started playing. But then out of nowhere my account was banned, reason being “use of bots”.

Never ever have I used bots, I wouldn’t even know how to. I’m literally a 32 year old mom who enjoy playing in the evening after I put my son to bed.

I’ve tried appealing the ban but it’s been impossible to get any real conversation going with Blizzard. I requested the data they have on me and once I received and read through it, it literally said “ 0 suspected bot games “.

I can only think that the reason I was banned was bc of long periods of time ( 24 hours or more ) where I’ve been actively playing. Before I had my child I went through a really hard time suffering from PTSD and therefore insomnia. I used hearthstone to focus and get through really hard times. I used to love the game and I was so grateful that I could use it to escape my anxiety and harsh reality. But apparently, having a mental disorder and ACTIVELY playing for a longer period of time is not something they care to look into as a reason. Simple, playing the game for a long time is suspicious enough that they will ban an 11 year old account.
I’ve let blizzard know about all of this and they frankly don’t care.

This all makes me so sad.

Been with blizzard since warcraft 3

Been with blizzard since warcraft 3. I was a pro dota 1 player. I've always accepted thier terrible customer service. But this week I got banned for saying the f word once. It must have been a GM I swore at on an alt account because he instantly replied "enjoy your week long ban", within 30 minutes my account was banned for a week.

They banned my account for no reason.

They banned my account for no reason.
They don't and won't share any information, to the point to get their attention I had to talk to my bank to reverse a year's worth of subscription fees, thankfully my bank allowed this.
Blizzard cannot be trusted, be very careful using any of their services, they will potentially ban you and offer no explanation and when you push them for answers they will stop you ability to send them tickets.

Trash

When a game is experiencing a glitch with one specific quest that is being talked about all over Wowhead and you put a ticket in about it and you’re told by customer service to “check with your Internet service provider” that’s laughable customer service.
After a patch is released it takes upwards of a week of on and off “system maintenance” to even make the game playable…that is until the next thing comes up that they will gaslight you into thinking it’s a problem on your end then it’s unplayable again till they fix that problem now….the problem that everyone all over the internet is talking about but yet somehow Bliz will tell you it’s you and your computer then poof “system maintenance” again and the problem is gone. The problem they told you was you. Then another problem will start. Rinse repeat. Bliz is garbage

Avoid. Absolutely nightmare of a company.

Customer service is poor, a lot times just a bot and after like 20 tries maybe human. Do not play their games, play something else. You can also get banned instantly if they choose to do so to save server costs or else. Seriously do yourself a favor and SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING ELSE. Or you can support the rich bosses of Blizzard and their new boat or what ever they like to do after they abuse their workers and collect your money.

Very disappointed with this developer

Very disappointed with this developer and video games in general, which are just a waste of time since you don't make money playing. I remember when Blizzard allowed this in 2012 with Diablo 3 and its auction house, only to remove it two years later. At least back then, you could play and have fun while making money and therefore not waste your time. Video games are over, I'll never buy them again.

No Costumer Support

All I want is to access my account so I can play WoW, but it's literally impossible. I try to log in after about a year off, so it tells me to go approve the login at the authenticator app. I go to the authenticator app, but it says it's been out of use since last year, and to download the Battle.net App. So I do that, but when I try to login there, it once again tells me to approve the login on the authenticator. How am I supposed to do that? After fiddling on the website for a bit to try and get a staff emember to help me out, I get to a part where you can press a button which supposedly removes the authenticator from the account. I pressed the button and have now been waiting for 23 mins for it to work. It just stands there loading. So I'm stuck and unable to access my account.

Nostalgia is running out, do better or be replaced.

The only reason this is a two-star review is for the love I have for WoW from Wrath to Legion. I grew up with that game, remember in MoP being excited coming back from school and knowing after a few hours of playing, I'll be able to buy a PvP weapon - it was a rush. With that said, I used to play on Private servers with unpaid 'support' and those people actually had suggestions on fixes, solutions and surprisingly good technical advice.

Then I moved to Retail in SL and after a couple long pauses I quit the game. People receiving salaries to help didn't care, and I was told 'report it to bug tracker' more times than I can count. Not even after I researching a solution and asking the GM if it could help, they moved a finger to say 'yes, try' or 'no'.

It's time for whoever calls the shots, customer support is important - if a cashier is rude, noone is helping you to find the cereal and they treat you like shit while there, eventually you'll find a different store. It's the same with games and yours is dying.

Quit giving this company your money

Others provoke anger, god forbid you stand up for yourself, youll get muted for weeks, and they also take away any ability to progress in the game, so because you used words, they take away the physical ability to play the game.
