Minor Issue Great Service

Placed an order, there was an issue with the website and the specified size that they had on the website vs the actual size of the product and they were amazing at arranging a return and fixing the issue. I was very impressed, it made everything very easy.

Room for improvement

Pros:
- Great pre-sales experience - having very little prior knowledge of the type of equipment that I was looking to purchase, I received some really helpful advice to help me choose the most suitable equipment for my small home gym.
- BLK BOX’s pricing seems fair in comparison to other retailers offering similar products.
- I am pleased with the overall product - it appears sturdy and reasonably well constructed. It’s difficult to say how well the black powder coating will hold up though - it seems to scratch off pretty easily.

Cons:
- Delivery service is really poor - I had 3 separate deliveries from this company and there were issues on each of the 3 occasions. Admittedly, the initial delivery issue was somewhat out of BLK BOX’s control, however given that I had spent over £6000 with them, they should have bent over backwards to rectify the issue. BLK BOX contract out budget third party couriers to carry out their UK deliveries - if I’m spending £6000K+, I also expect a premium delivery service. BLK BOX need accept liability for delivery issues, regardless of whether or not these are completed by a third party courier service. It is their responsibility to ensure that the goods arrive to the customer as expected and if not, this needs to be dealt with appropriately by the aftersales team.
- BLK BOX are extremely keen to take your money, but they fall short when it comes to aftersales service - this is just as important as the pre-sales service. I had considered my purchase for over 2 years, looking at options with 4/5 different retailers. When I finally narrowed it down to BLK BOX and a different retailer, I went for BLK BOX in the end. In hindsight, I’m not sure that this was the best decision.

Something also that I found a little strange - I pre-ordered a set of cable attachments that were out of stock. They arrived within the expected timeframe on a separate delivery, however I was sent a Mirafit set as opposed to a BLKBOX set - the two brands sell the exact same product, however BLK BOX’s is priced slightly higher and the only difference is the branding on the product itself. I don’t have an issue with Mirafit products, however BLK BOX should have notified me that I would be receiving the product from a different brand if they had supplier issues.

I would not recommend BLK BOX if you are looking for a premium level or service, simply because of their aftersales service. If they improve their delivery service and aftersales service then I would be happy to recommend them.

Scam?

Excellent Customer Service

Chaos

Ordered a sample floor tile and my client liked it. When it came time to place the full order the product is discontinued. Needed another sample ASAP but Blkbox don’t do anything urgently. What a rigmarole trying to get another sample ! Told it would be shipped today (wrong) now told it MAY BE tomorrow. Lost confidence after reading the other 1 star reviews on here

Shocking experience. Do not trust!

Shocking experience.

They took money for a weight belt. After 2 weeks it has still not been delivered, I have been waiting for it and once I contacted, they said the item was delivered. The tracking link didn’t work and their order status page still says “in transit”

Will be pursuing a refund from my credit card supplier.

Part 1 of a 2-Part Review

We’ve been really pleased with the service we’ve received so far from BLK BOX. Their UK representative, Dan, has been fantastic to work with. He visited our property to carry out a survey and took the time to understand our needs fully. Dan’s expertise and guidance were invaluable in helping us put together the right equipment list tailored to our space and goals.

We have delivery and installation planned for January 3rd, just in time to launch a 12-week transformation program with 12 ladies in our gym starting Monday, January 6th. We’re excited to see everything come together so stay tuned for Part 2, where we’ll review the delivery, installation, and final outcome!

Miss selling and still awaiting refund

Had a horrible experience buying a squat rig from BLK. They are knowingly miss selling to customers by saying they will deliver between 2-10 days. So I ordered, paid and only when I chased a week later was I told it would be 7 weeks for delivery and they make them to order.

As you can imagine my surprise when I expected it that week (I had already waited 7 days). I went back and forth with the support team and got no resolution so had to ask for a refund and purchase elsewhere.

Mirafit (competitor) delivered within 2 days of ordering, however I still haven’t had my refund.i was told it was processed and I would receive after 5 business days, I chased after 6 and was told it hadn’t actually been proceeded and it would be another 5 days. I said it needed to be refunded same day to which I’ve had no response (or refund) - seems to me this business has cash flow issues so I’d stay well away

Honestly I'd love to review the product…

Honestly I'd love to review the product ordered but I can't as it never arrived. As good as the product may have been and the price, blkbox are potentially massively let down by their couriers who are useless liars. They supposedly tried to deliver 5x but not one card was put through the door and instructions to leave with a trusted neighbour ignored. The only credit I can give blkbox is they respond to queries via email fairly promptly. But seriously they need to ditch UPS, or as I like to call them, useless parcel service

Extremely Disappointing

Unfortunately the worst fitness product company I’ve dealt with to date. Ridiculously long delivery times, about 10 weeks for me. A change of internal system meant my order was also forgotten completely at one point until I chased it. Only the efforts of Keith prevented a 1 star review.
