Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 132 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the social media platform, citing issues with restrictions, deletions, and bans, often without clear reasons. Reviewers frequently mentioned a toxic user experience, characterized by cyberbullying, derogatory comments, and a lack of free speech, with some feeling that opinions not aligning with a certain narrative were suppressed. Customers also reported significant problems with the website itself, including server errors, slow performance, and difficulties with basic account functions. The moderation and staff were heavily criticized for inconsistency, perceived bias, and a lack of support, with many users experiencing shadow banning or having their content removed without notice. This led to a general sentiment that the service provided was poor and that the platform had strayed from its original purpose of open discussion.

Imagine being banned for a week for…

Imagine being banned for a week for simply saying that a bad president(Donald Trump. There, I said it here too) should be dealt with in a way that counts(I was thinking "Jail", btw), but the automod immediately said "You have been banned for THREATENING VIOLENCE". The automod is dumb as bricks, by the way, and I have received no human input. God help this site....

Incredibly hard not to be banned eventually and kind of often

They ban you and give you serious warnings over nothing. I've only been on reddit for 3 years and this is my experience. You say any trigger word a few too many times and instead of actually reviewing it they just ban you. I don't know if they're over worked or what at reddit and just have to deny everything they get to get through the flagged pile as quickly as possible or what, but this has happened to multiple times and I've had entire accounts banned over it, then you get in trouble for making new accounts because they fall under the same IP address or something Idk I'm not a tech dude but they know it's you making new accounts sometimes somehow. The reddit team very clearly takes 0 consideration, context or time looking into these matters. I was talking about the love is blind reunion for god sakes saying this guy deserved to be clocked by Nick Lachay and got banned because apparently the word clocked is inciting violence, they denied the appeal as well which is pretty much proof they don't pay attention to what they're doing when they say no. I also got banned and my appeal denied for saying they should eat Shauna next in the yellowjackets subreddit?? Like are you serious that show is about eating people and people genuinely make those jokes 24/7, there is a flair with the name snackie on it for one of the subreddits lol... meanwhile entire subs exist where people rate people and say creepy things and misogyinstic, racist, or homophobic and that is allowed? They can post porn too? Murder? Pedo stuff apparently I seen in another comment??

It's just a lack of care on reddits behalf for any of the users on the platform, it genuinely just feels like a ticking time bomb for everyone of "how long they can last" and it's infuriating rubbing regular innocent users noses in bans when misogynistic trolls and others like that get off scot free.

It just leaves you discouraged and frustrating and wondering when everyones day will come where they eventually get banned for any accumulation of non offensive offences that were marked. Just wondering what fluke or angry mod or BS reason that goes against freedom of speech or removing all context will be the final nail in your coffin? It sucks because you grow really attached to having your reddit accounts as well there are things you have to rebuild and relationships and credit lost even. Some people put a lot of time, money and effort into these things and they have 0 respect for the users of their site who they profit off of.

Every time I access "reddit" I get server error...

Every time I go to "reddit" I get several of "We have a server error". Then they tell me my post was deleted because I failed too many felatios at reddit. And as a good-bye they post the red "We have a server error" again... Nasty website, one of the nastiest ever, that I try to stay away from as much as I can.

What exactly is Karma? My account has been for five months, and I only posted one article (not promotional or spam) with one video, yet you filtered my post and suspended my account.

This is a terrible platform.

Hypocrisy

I did a review against my better judgment. I knew based on my previous experience that more than likely it would be flagged by their algorithms (bots). They lure you in to join in a conversation. I was emailed by the bot administrator saying that I didn't have comment karma or something to that effect. Whatever that means. It was perfectly harmless comment about a writer that because of her misguided sense of morality expurgated earlier versions of her books. I simply said that this was devolving not evolving and that she was setting back progress. Reddit like other titans of industry live in their ivory towers oblivious to what is going on around them. Using algorithms to monitor content. This unfortunately is becoming more and more prevalent which sets up a dangerous precedent. This is censorship the very thing my comment was about. It seems the vast majority of this writer's loyal readers were equally upset and distressed and dismayed. I also said this is Eighteenth century British English literature writer Samuel Richardson all over again his readers, acquaintances and contemporaries arguing with him to give his book Clarissa a different ending. But he absolutely refused to budge, because of his moralistic upbringing. And for this comment my review will never be seen. So much for enlightenment.

The company is more than okay with threats of rape, brags of paedophilia and hate speech being on their platform.

But if you say anything bad about the Trump admin, you get perma-banned. These Nazis need to be removed from society and locked up

If Epstein was a website

I've have never witnessed this much misogyny, hatred for women and children, and utter disregard for human life on this website. Everyone on this site seems to be very anti-women, especially in the tennis sub, and also posting pictures of child abuse, murder, torture, and other horrific things. I'd never suggest anybody to use this website in their life.

This website should be completely shut down, and forgotten about.

This website is nothing but haters

This website is nothing but haters, bias discriminating individuals who just dislike society. Reddit has become so full of bots it's gotten bad. I have lost track of how many accounts I've gone through just to continue this daily habit.

Please delete all ice videos as many of these violate the terms of service for harassment, threatening and violence. Please delete all death videos especially of alex pretty. The gal doesn't even blur the image. this is disrespectful. I can't believe how people praise and support people who take lives. These days. It's sickening. Mods should just remove these vids asap. I report many of them but they don't take them down.

I honestly don't know why I keep fueling my daily reddit habit. A few years ago we ran into an issue where one of the family members accounts got a severe ban on it. They site kept attacking all the other users accounts and thought we were all one person instead of a multi use computer. This thing terminated all our accounts without just cause. After tracking it down it was all because of one post stating about a homeless person in the city was dangerous and why the city officials were not doing anything about it. This went too far. I had to nuke my computer, put a new ip address on it and the router as the ai was attacking the router. I had to use vpns and a private mode safe browser like brave. I never had an issue since. This one sort of peeved me off. Apparently I'm not the only person to have this issue.

Communist reddit with their dysfunctional hyper know it all WOKE bullies

So I'l repeat for anyone who cares and can see what I'm writing, because every single site online now is taking us down. Do you know what shadow banning is???

People WAKE UP, we are in WWIII. Do you get it yet???

It's called a Silent war for a reason.

Reddit supposedly used to be about FREE SPEECH. I just read that a month or so ago and laughed.

Did you know they killed one of the founders?

Anyway, since I am blocked from hiring freelancers from every site (that's what happens when you speak the Truth about what is going on), I decided to go to reddit to post there, but I couldn't because I'm a non profit and can't afford $15/hour, so I tried to make my own group and THEY BANNED ME LOL

This was a year or two ago.

Recently the Upwork group I was in put me in jail because I had told someone I was hiring people. I can't remember if I said a VA, WP expert or what.

I NEVER gave anyone a hiring ad, I just made a comment and that's against the na.zi's RULES.

If you haven't already figured it out, the evils do NOT want us hiring or you getting a JOB!!!

The only reason I started going on the site is because that's all I was being shown on the evil search engines.

You do know that the SEs control what you think, right?

If all you see are their lies, then you will believe in those lies.

The evils are dismantling the entire net. My site doesn't even show up in na.zi goolag because I'm shadow banned there too. I use Yandex. Not great, but at least somewhat better.

They have even removed sites from the wayback. Remember when it was supposedly hacked?

Yeh, that was the evils.

Anyway, I finally got my reddit account back, but now if I say anything about the Truth, I'm shadow banned and everyone thinks evil reddit is protecting them from someone who is FIGHTING FOR THEIR RIGHT TO LIVE. LOL SMH

Slaves just love being slaves!

I've even had PMs I've written be blocked. I couldn't PM someone.

The people on evil Reddit have serious emotional issues. I'm not talking a little bit, but a LOT.

I just had one POS argue with me because I was having problems getting into my gmail account which I never use because I use TB for my email.

The evils did something so I couldn't find out how to get in. The page was different and I didn't know where I was.

Tons of people rushed to help me (clearly gmail worshipers LOL) & I finally fixed the issue myself by deleting the cookies. This POS claimed I didn't know how to use gmail.

I've been online since '96 children. Actually since '94, but since people on Compuserve were horrific bullies, I didn't go back on until 2 years later.

So this POS tries to tell me I'm the only one experiencing this in the entire WORLD as IF he knows billions of people worldwide LOL

But it that may be true. Do you know what the evils can do to your phone and computer? You could see a different site than I see. It's not like AB testing hasn't been around forever.

You think I'm lying? Ok, keep deluding yourself.

Anyway, the very angry leftist WOKE low IQ zombie who couldn't believe someone would challenge his royal highness must have gone to my profile, saw my site about the Truth, got upset, had to tell me I was a problem and he shouldn't even have helped me.

I don't fight with children, when I realize a person has cognitive & huge emotional issues, I walk away. You can NOT argue with a zombie, they are too low IQ.

Then he bans me after making his bully comment.

I had a bookkeeper who doesn't understand English flag my question because she didn't understand something I said when I commented to her. She said my question was clickbait or something.

I've had more people downvote everything I say so I can't even post in some groups because of the communist karma credit score system which is where the evils are taking us by the way.

I believe that Reddit is the test case to see how many people will rat out and attack their fellow brothers and sisters and help the evils take us down.

Well, I can tell you a huge portion WILL.

You can blame the evils all you want, but look in the mirror and admit what you have done to create this prison planet we are forced on.

Yesterday two of my posts were censored.

All I wanted was help figuring out what kind of we.ed pipe to buy. I guess that's a SIN TOO.

They wouldn't allow that in the weed or smoking groups LMAO SMH

No one helps me when I need help. The odd time I get some people who respond, but that's usually about a history question, nothing to do with helping me with my computer or site.

Every group has tons of rules and you know why???

BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE WE ARE HEADED.

In fact, that's where we already are. We are SLAVES, but you people don't even know what FREEDOM MEANS, so you think this is normal.

You can reach me at ourfreesociety dot and you know the rest.

Two-Sentence Template Rejection of Comprehensive Legal Complaint

On February 12, 2026, we filed six formal complaints with Reddit through every available channel — Moderator Code of Conduct, Community Harassment, Trademark, and UK Online Safety Act. We submitted a 14-page formal complaint, US trademark certificates, and documentation of 35+ enforcement actions across 16+ platforms proving $770,000+ in harm caused by two moderators of r/BlytheDolls who have run a coordinated defamation campaign for 46 months.

One moderator personally owns an attack website and uses her Reddit mod privileges to promote it while deleting positive content and rejecting reports against herself. The site publishes home addresses where children live. She admits on her own site she cannot prove her accusations yet publishes false criminal allegations against a business with zero criminal record in 26 years of operation.

Every other platform reviewed the same evidence and acted. Medium SUSPENDED the operator's account. Google REMOVED her URLs. Sitejabber REMOVED her entire listing. A blog host confirmed her content was defamatory and took it down. 35+ actions across 16+ platforms — every single one acted.

Reddit responded seven hours later with two sentences: "We are unable to determine that the content violates local law." No analysis of our evidence. No review of moderator abuse. No acknowledgment of the trademark infringement or children's addresses being published. A template rejection without reading the complaint.

We are established since 2000, serve 100,000+ customers in 150+ countries, featured by Forbes, BBC, The Guardian and Vogue Italia, Trustpilot 4.8/5, Etsy Star Seller. Three customers directly cited these Reddit threads when filing chargebacks, causing permanent PayPal deactivation and Stripe account closure.

Reddit has an F rating on the BBB with 200+ unanswered complaints. This is not a failure — it is policy. They do not review complaints. Businesses targeted by moderator abuse have no recourse. We have escalated to Ofcom, the UK ICO, the FTC, the California Attorney General, and the BBB. Legal proceedings are being prepared.

Can’t Post Genuinely Because of Cocky Mods

Tried to share a genuinely useful tool for Colombo Stock Exchange dividends, and the cocky mods (with a whopping -52 karma, by the way) deleted it faster than you can say “rupee crash.” These folks treat helpful content like a crime scene — overzealous, power-tripping, and allergic to anything that might actually benefit the community.

Friendly? Nope. Reasonable? Haha, don’t make me laugh. Efficient? Only at flexing their ban hammer.

If you want your posts nuked for no reason and your karma permanently traumatized, welcome to r/srilanka. Otherwise, avoid like a bad investment.

This website needs taking down.

The overreaching censorship, the warnings of you breaking rules that you didn't break, the social credit score voting system, Reddit is literally contributing to the social degradation of our society, and it needs to be taken down. Very few social media has caused the level of harm this platform does.
