Sure would like to get my hands on these idiot keyboard warriors. I would introduce them to consequences for their actions. Hit them with a little reality check.

Site is always down

Site is always down. Hoping those I follow go elsewhere. Luckily I don't have a blog so no sex bots followed me. I deactvated my account and saved the sites I followed - will manually check them once a month

Abusing my email, does not respect data privacy, no response

Someone misused my email to create an account. Bloglovin does not verify the accounts, simply started sending me lots of spammy emails. I've tried to complain, I've tried to remove my account, I've tried to seek help from them in many different ways. No response, nothing is working.

Russian Sex Troll Bots are ruining Bloglovin'

Bloglovin' could have been a great place to follow blogs, increase your blog following, or publish a blog post. Unfortunately, they lost their way.

I always had a hard time claiming my blog on Bloglovin'. Whenever I checked to see if I can find my blog on the platform, I never saw it. I tried to get help, but the customer service is horrible.

But the worst thing about Bloglovin' is the presence of the Russian sex troll bots. They are beyond irritating; they're disgusting. Also, who knows what info they're swiping from your account. Unfortunately, you can't block them.

If you're considering adding your blog to an RSS feed, please do yourself a favor and skip Bloglovin'.

Inundated with Pornography Emails and Sex Trafficking Followers

This used to be a wonderful platform to keep track of posts from blogs you were following and for allowing others to easily find your blog posts by subject. However, for the past year I have been inundated with followers from pornography and sex trafficking sites and my spam box is also inundated with emails from them.

I have tried contacting them multiple times over the past several months to report this without any response from them and there is no way to block someone from following you. Therefore I will be deleting my account and searching for a regulated alternative.

human and sex traffickers

I have been flooded with followers that are human and sex traffickers, being part of this feels really sleezy. This bloglovin refuses to make a way to get rid of unwanted followers it makes me wonder what their stand is on this behavior. I notice LOTS of other people are having the same problem.

The abandoned app theory

Fake accounts as followers, this being the main and the BIGGEST problem. The second one for me will be that i don't see the recent articles of the bloggers i'm following and is frustrating because i loved this app, it used to be perfect as a reader. Last year it went crazy posting only posts that were more than a month or more, even if the people i was following had been written recently.

I start to think that since they turned the brand into ACTIVATE they abandoned Bloglovin'.

BLOGLOVIN' AND SEX TRAFFICKING

Over the past few months I have had a HUGE influx of followers thru Bloglovin'. While this may at first glance seem to be a good thing, it is not.
I check each and every profile of any new follower to learn about them, and without fail EVERY new follower thru Bloglovin in the past few months has not been a real person. ALL have either no pic or salacious pics, and ALL have taglines like "Sexy women looking for love", "Get sex here", and the most horrifying of all "YOUNG GIRLS for sex".
I have made numerous complaints to Bloglovin, to no avail. They haven't even had the courtesy to email me back. They don't remove those users' accounts, and they don't even provide a way to block unwanted followers.
To my mind, that is tacit support of the sex trade and human trafficking, and I am not willing to support any company or business that is so blasé about such a horrific practice, even if it means loss of followers and/or business. As such, I am closing my account with them.

can't even describe how bad it is

I've been receiving lots of followers from accounts that have some sex-related sites with the .ru in the description and I can't do anything about that. Not block them, nor report them. Do I feel safe, ok? No, I don't. I tried to remove my account and it seems that, in order to do that, I have to send them an e-mail. So I try sending e-mail after e-mail to the address shown there to reach them and I can't. I haven't even used the thing much and now it seems that I can never get rid of it

Annoying and unnecessary platform that…

Annoying, unnecessary, and time wasting platform that hijacks 3rd party blogs/websites demanding the viewer signs up to them in order to access content. As a blog reader, I cannot stand it when the Bloglovin’ thing comes up.

So spammy

So spammy. I signed up to receive updates for a blog, and received 3 marketing emails from Bloglovin within a few hours. There is no way to erase my email from their database, so even tho I unsubscribed (by checking off a dozen various subscription options I never signed up for) they're still sending junk email, and I bet they already sold my email addy. I will update this review if I receive a reply from Bloglovin confirming there's a way I can delete my email from their database. Otherwise I'll assume they agree that they're total spammy junk.
