Another great piercing! Always a delight to visit Blue Banana as the staff are really friendly and the piercing experience is always great. This is my third piercing now and it's fab!

Couldn't stay away, got 2 piercings on Monday, back again today for 2 more!
Really great care taken with the piercings, couldnt recommend them enough.

I came to the Manchester shop along with my granddaughter to have my nose pierced - my granddaughter was having one of her ear lobes re-pierced. I am nearly 71 years old and this procedure would not have entered my head - I was happy enough with my pierced ears and belly button but during a holiday back in February to South Goa, India, I was asked to wear a fake nose stud for a night out and was told by a few people that this really did suit me! My last piercing - belly button, was done if I remember rightly, in 1998!

I was a bit apprehensive regarding the piercing process, level of pain etc. I think mostly because because of the length of time that had passed since my last piercing.

I opted for an experienced lady to do my piercing over an apprentice only because I am pretty certain that this is my last ever piercing and I wanted it over and done with asap!😄 My granddaughter opted for an apprentice which was good as people need the experience and the learning/knowledge.

I can't remember the name of the lady who pierced my nose! Apologies for that! She was really good and did everything in what seemed like a nano second! Brilliant job! Thank you. Would definitely recommend Blue Banana😊x

Clio piercing the left side of my lip this week and was really happy with the placement, quick and easy piercing experience and Clio's friendly nature.

Had to come back in after 4 days as my lip had over swelled and the bar needed to be replaced with a slightly longer one.
This was all done professionally and free of charge. Feels much better and looks great.

I've been to Blue Banana several times and always try to get Sophie to do my piercings as she is so friendly and reassuring. She's very knowledgeable and always goes out of her way to put me at ease. I visited last week to get another piercing and Sophie explained the procedure and helped me to chose the jewellery. I would definitely recommend. Fantastic experience.

Excellent service from Cliodna, (apologies if I’ve spelt your name wrong)I felt totally at ease having my second piercing on my ears and daith on one ear. Professional service from lovely friendly girls. I would highly recommend and would visit again when I’m in Manchester. The dresses in the shop looked amazing, I’m only sorry we didn’t have more time to browse.

I visited the Blue banana Manchester store in the Arndale centre with my daughter as she wanted to get her eyebrow pierced. Everything seemed fine, filled out the form etc. staff were friendly, it was a bit busy but she went in had her eyebrow pierced without me in the room.

The lady who pierced her eyebrow, put in a 1.6 bar explaining that they would normally pierce her eyebrow with a 1.2 bar but that they didn’t have any in the store but if she revisited the store within 2/3 weeks they could swop it out. The piercing kept bleeding and her eye lid started to swell, puffing out her eye lid and brow.
Then we travelled to London her eyelid was still swollen and kept bleeding. We went into an independent piercing shop in London to ask if they could help clean it up. They agreed as they said, it looked quite swollen, we explained about the 1.6 bar being put in as the lady piercer said the jewellery did look quite large. As the piercing was being cleaned the lady then informed me that the jewellery that had been used was in fact a belly button bar that was curved and no wonder my daughter was having trouble cleaning and controlling the bleeding. The independent shop cleaned and replaced the bar to the correct 1.2 bar that should have been put in in the first place. The piercing had started to create a hole in her eyelid.

If the correct jewellery wasn’t in store then we should have been turned away and asked to come back. The piercer also should have known what jewellery she was putting in her eyebrow and certainly not a belly button bar!

We have used blue banana before and had no issues and I get mistakes can happen but on this occasion the piercer got it wrong and luckily we went to an independent piercer who was able to correct the issue without further damage to my daughters eyebrow/eyelid.

I have already emailed Blue banana customer services who-fobbed me off.
As a result, we will not be returning to Blue banana and hope that this review is helpful in thinking twice about using this company. Independent piercers all the way!

Cleo was as amazing as before with my girls nose piercing and belly piercing

I’ve been a couple of times with my family! Every time it’s been Cleo, so sweet and supportive through my nose piercing despite me being so nervous. Genuinely so fond of her, making it so easy for my piercings every time. Will be back for the discounts, hopefully she’s there to do them x

Visited today in Manchester. The lady was very friendly and knowledgeable on piercings. Cheap but great quality jewellery. Great experience. Highly recommend on visiting

Cleo was really lovely and made me feel super comfortable and I love my navel piercing however it is off centre and has been pierced slanted.

Another amazing experience with Sophie again she made me feel at ease said it would hurt so I was all prepared for the pain but it was pain free for me thankfully . Once again thank you Sophie I won't have anyone else do my piecing now .

My step-mum took me in for my belly button to be re-pierced I was nervous to say the least, but Sophie made me feel so at ease and comfortable in her care. She answered all of my questions to the best of her ability and went into full detail on how to clean my piercing properly. I will definitely make sure to go back to Sophie next time I want another piercing. Would definitely recommend her!!
