If you are a hockey fan then Herning is a pretty good place to see a game. The arena is a little old and the facilities really need to be done up but its well-priced and the experience is good. It’s not as good as Odense or Vojens and I have seen visiting fans have beer thrown on them by (who I assume were) sponsors sitting on the balcony, and the security did nothing, but otherwise it's pretty good.
