Owen top top customer service
Went to the blue jay, Owen was spectacular! customer service was the best I’ve ever received I was manager of the year and I would definitely hire this person! Owen is definitely a credit and an asset to the blue jay

Only 5 stars because of Owen which doesn’t suffice for his customer service. I’m agent of the year and he beats me hand down in customer service. We would hire him straight away! Love you Owen

A lot wrong with this place
I went in the afternoon with a friend. We stood for a while waiting to be seated but there was no staff to seat us so we had to seat ourselves. I did not find that there was much choice on the menu and struggled on what to choose. Eventually I went for the carvery, both the turkey and roast potatoes were quite hard. The table next to us ordered their desert after us but got it before us. It seems we were forgotten about, it took at least thirty minutes before we received the desert. Went up to the bar to enquire what was taking so long, only 1 member of staff serving whilst there was at least six people waiting to be served. Clearly very short staffed as there never seemed to be anyone available when we needed them.
Overall not a great experience, whilst the atmosphere was nice and warm, the staff were friendly and the prices fine, a distinct lack of customer service and below average menu and food has let them down.
