Very poor support..

Very poor support... no support, never got answers, I wanted a trial, and suddenly I bought the year subscription. This is like cheating on me. Better don't try it

Joined the Free Trial on Bluemountain…

Joined the Free Trial on Bluemountain and sent my first ecard successfully. After a day or two I started to check on the terms and conditions of the free trial but couldn't find any details at all either on the website or my introductory email. This made me a little suspicious so I delved a bit deeper in order to cancel my trial. Under UK consumer law you have 14 days in which to cancel and eventually found by logging in and going to 'my account' then 'manage membership' I was able to cancel my auto renew and membership. It seemed to take ages once I pressed the cancel button and eventually I came out of the site. After a couple of minutes I logged back in and checked and my membership had been cancelled. By my limited experience with them the company seems genuine but thay should make the terms and conditions of their free trial more transparent.

Canceled my subscription!

I finally had to cancel my subscription to Blue Mountain. A couple times the ecards were never sent. I also had to call them and complain because they didn't send some of the ecards on the date I had requested.

While I enjoyed the service

While I enjoyed the service, and people really enjoyed receiving these cards, eventually the only ones left to send are pretty corny. Without more additions it becomes repetitive over the years.
Cancellation of service is a must before the date they renew or they will automatically charge you. And you cannot dispute this charge. They will not have mercy on you, because they say they sent notice 3 months and 1 month before, which I don’t remember receiving, but they send so many emails I may have thrown it out. BE CAREFUL, there’s a reason the have such a low review.

Very deceptive billing policies

Very deceptive billing policies. One errant click and you will void your so-called "trial" period and your credit card will be charged with no recourse to get a refund.

I will never use this site again. I have NEVER asked my credit card company to block a merchant until I had this experience using Blue Mountain. Do yourself a favor and find another online service for ecards.

Same as others

Same as others. They default to recurring subscription but never mention it until they take your money. No way to cancel your membership. Lots of reviews saying the identical thing.

Go Direct to your Credit Card Co for refund

This company, and its ‘mother’ company, American Greetings, needs to be sued! As stated in EVERY review, these folks are completely unresponsive. I wrote 4 times….ZIP. I called multiple times, trying multiple different department options, waited up to 60 mins on each call….ZIP. I called their ‘mother’ company, American Greetings, and they are the EXACT SAME….Exact same automated phone system and music.
CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND DISPUTE THE CHARGES. I did and will receive a refund. These losers need to stop stealing from their customers. Pathetic!

This company is unresponsive and…deceptive

This company is unresponsive and deceptive. I didn't want to renew and they must set you up for automatic renewal when you purchase a yearly membership the first time. I've turned it off now. I've emailed them several times asking to have my membership cancelled to no avail. Poor business practices-I recommend avoiding them.

Watch out for auto-renewal of subscription!

Was unaware I had a recurring yearly subscription and once I realised they'd billed me for another year I wanted to cancel immediately. Turns out all I could do was turn off auto-renew so I did that and contacted customer service assuming this mistake could be refunded. I was wrong. I wonder how many people have made the same or similar mistake and paid for a service they have no intention of using.....

Advertised as free eCards - they are not free

Advertised as free eCards, but want $100's of a year. Waste of time.
Nice logo, but the cards I saw look pretty ugly, and the voices that read anything out are dreadful.. to the point you do the voice message as a joke because of how bad it is.

If I could give them zero stars

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I just hung up with a very disengaged, unhelpful and unempathetic customer service representative name Mariah. I explained to her that I just discovered last April, Bluemountain charged me again for their annual 'membership' which I know I cancelled in 2022, I was not even aware they had continue with the charges so I never used their service again, yet they continued taking my money without my authorization.
I asked her if she could help me at least with the last charge "renewal", and she categorically stated that Bluemountain does not issue refunds on memberships. period. i am fuming. who do they think they are to treat customers like this? we work very hard for our money to be practically stolen like that. I find their practices deceptive and unethical to say the least.

I WISH we could give NO stars!!!

I WISH we could give NO stars!!!! BEWARE!!!!! This IS a SCAM COMPANY!!!! They overcharge! You borrow $600 w NO WAY of paying early & then you pay back $2500!! THEN they will continue to take $ AFTER the loan is PAID IN FULL & you HAVE TO FIGHT to get you $ back!!!! They are NOT regulated bc they are on an Indigenous people reservation so they seem to be above the law! Do NOT do business w them!!!! Find help elsewhere!!!

Purchase of Advent calendars

Purchase of Advent calendars: I purchased 3 expensive advent ecalendars for Christmas. Neither I nor my two sisters could access the calendar. The troubleshooting page for the calendar had extensive suggestions for solving the problem but none of them worked. I subscribe to their card services but the advent calendar wouldn't even recognize my email. I requested a refund but they refused to return my purchase price.

E card company

E card company. Absolutely terrible customer service. My birthday e card was not delivered due to a problem with the recipients email address. I was notified but the link to resend was broken, I have tried emailing the company twice and despite claiming to respond in 48 hrs no one has a week later. Avoid. Shame because the cards look good.
