We hired Blue Star to coordinate…

We hired Blue Star to coordinate housing for our daughter’s wedding. The link they set up for reservations did not work for several weeks. They failed to answer/return phone calls. They did not pass information over to the hotel. My guests arrived and were not treated as though they had made the appropriate arrangements. They were unprofessional, rude, incompetent, I can go on and on. Avoid at all costs costs based upon my interaction with them. I wish I could give them less than 1 star.

I wouldn’t even give a 1 star

I wouldn’t even give a 1 star.
Worst hotel possible. Got put into a small room with my partner with 2 single beds separated from one another. And next to a loud elevator control room so you could imagine through out the night every time someone used the evevator it would make a loud screaming noise! Trying falling asleep to that. That room should not be used for people to sleep in. Should be locked up.

had to cry to the reception for them to move us to a different room. Absolutely awful experience. Love holidays guy was also a joke! Forcing us to leave him a 5 star. No thanks.

This hotel is not a family hotel misold as family

THIS HOTEL IS DESIGNED FOR RUSSAIN AND POLISH TOURISTS NOT A FAMILY HOTEL ITS BUILD BETWEEN SLUMS.
As soon as we reached we were sent for soup around 12am in morning where staff where very rude and switching lighting off saying their shut. when we got to the room we were given a broken baby crib which l instantly reported in reception and balcony door locks and door locks were broken the toilet was not suitable as it was hanging midway in the wall which was a floating toilet, no essential’s in the room no water kettle safe was broken the fridge was empty nothing no extra sheets to cover urself in the bed.
We were given a room on 5th floor which was dangerously high for a toddler and a child, then the neighbours were violently banging on the walls to scare my kids which also was reported but nothing was done about it.
When we reported this to reception we were simply told to come back in the morning leaving us with no choice but to spend the night in rock solid beds that were broken no bed sheets for us we were so tired from a long hour journey getting into the room around 1am and was forced to use beach towels to cover ourselfs and put my baby in the bed to lie down due to the broken crib they gave us, all night we couldn’t sleep due to discomfort of the broken beds and doors locks that were broken, our anxiety levels were sky high in case someone came in our room etc…
no 1 helped us but the customer relations of this hotel blamed us for all this issues l addressed which videos and photographic evidence and also made a video while speaking to a receptionist for evidence l documented everything via videos and photographs.
This was not my first time in Turkey last year my experience in another Hotel Ramada was brilliant but BLUE STAR HOTEL IS A BIG NO.
I was very upset but still no body seemed to care nor did anyone reach out for help.
This hotel is designed for RUSSAIN AND POLISH TOURISTS ONLY not a family hotel.
We would never recommend to come here please save your money and disappointment as their is nothing for kids to do from food choices to entertainment nothing.
The staff do not know how to speak English and look at you like you’re not welcomed at all.
I already addressed my issue’s with my agency and lawyer because the amount of lies these ppl in Turkey speak is unreal my baby was accused of breaking the crib like wth?
I wouldn’t ever fall for the pictures these hotel put up again please read the reviews which l ignored please don’t do that mistake l did and if anyone has questions lm happy to answer with full proof and evidence and funny l say this the customer relations of this hotel said they tired to contact me but couldn’t get in touch but l was always available right in front of their nose l was sitting all day and night waiting to get my issue resolved no body called me or reached out to me instead they used my own photos l sent to my agency stating in a email we done an inspection of your room and their nothing wrong like seriously? This is how they fool people.

The worst service ever

The worst service we have ever experienced. Please make sure to read this before booking at Blue Star Hotel.

Firstly, we booked 7 rooms and when we arrived, we had to wait around 10 hours (till 3:00 AM in the morning) to get all of our rooms ready. We were all tired of the trip and they kept saying that we have to wait until someone else checks out. This is the most absurd thing i have ever heard. They did literally nothing for us and we had to contact the tour operator by ourself to complain about this bad service.

Besides, we were not the only one with this problem. There were many families complaining about the same issues. We spoke with them and they were also waiting for hours on their room. They are all tired and angry of this bad service.

The swimming pools had a disgusting amount of chlorine that caused a lot of itch for all of us (we were with 17 people).

The food:
The meat was often burnt and inside of the restaurant was like a sauna, nobody enjoyed the food while sweating.

The staff ignored us fully instead of reaching out to us and offering us help. We had to arrange everything ourself.

The only positive thing is that the hotel was renovated nicely but really unfortunate that the service is the worst we have experienced.

Please do not book and waste your money on Blue Star Hotel.

It's a nice hotel with two pools area and pool bar. Their service is very good and they're very kind and helpfull.

The buffet at the hotel was also very good. There a lot of different variations and not the same food every day.
