We advertised our boat for sale with Boats and Outboards as we believed they were a professional platform and the best positioned to reach potential customers (how wrong were we)?

The advert was £49.99 and after some time we never had any calls , which we thought was strange as the boat was very well (low) priced.

We then looked for our advert and were astonished to see was not displayed...We then sent an e-mail and have received NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER!

An expensive lesson learned: The advert was not featured and they can't be bothered to respond, total waste of money - stay away!

really gone down hill, also lets companies advertise things at very low prices that have not intention of selling at those prices just to draw people in.

Boatsandoutboards Took 6 months of payments from my account without my consent they don't make it clear enough that they'll continue to take payments out of your account. What's worse is you'll probably miss the payment as they hide it under Boatsgroup, They also make it difficult to find the login page to even find your advert.
Also when I contacted them, they refused to refund my money, even though the boat was sold 6 months ago, on a different platform.

I wouldn't ever return to this website and will be making sure everyone I speak too is aware of this scam.

Tried to create a listing, lost my content twice, after a 3rd go, I'd got most of the detail in and it wouldn't let you progress. Tried to create an account and it spat me out again
Utter shambles, don't waste your time on this site!

Viewed a suzuki 2.5 HP outboard in Aviemore advertised as "2023 _ _ _ brand new, only used once" when in fact from the engine plate it was clearly manufactured in 2008 and from the marks is clearly well used. In correspondence after I had viewed it the seller had to admit this and then claimed he had bought it in 2010. Now over a week later and despite me alerting BoatsandOutboards to the flagrantly fraudulent claims (clearly in breach of their terms and conditions) the outboard is still being advertised as 2023, as new and as only used once.
Be warned, from the evidence 'BoatsandOutboards' knowingly allow fraudulent adverts.

SCAMMING OPERATION BEWARE

Seemed really genuine, but then slipped into SCAM speak. Incorrect use of English and out-of-context rubbish etc
if this site is genuine... WHY is there no office contact email? Why Owners only contact and how do you "confirm their details" when there's nobody but the 'owner' there to confirm it!
It's a total farce. A typical SCAM OPERATION

Terrible, no link to edit advert, listed in wrong category with half my pictures missing. Sent 10 emails for edits and non answered, do not recommend.

Advertised my boat on boats and outboards with the 4 week package. It took them 2 weeks to approve and display the advert. I had to push them to display the advert for 4 weeks from the date the advert was displayed and not when I submitted it. To get a response I had to phone the Netherlands 4 times. After this, I realised I had made a mistake and advertised my boat in the wrong category. Could not self edit this on line but could not get support to fix it on my behalf. Not happy with the support.
