Disappointing
I was due to receive my order on Saturday 6th November between 8am and11am. Nothing received, so I checked my order confirmation which said it was due to be delivered that day. I left a telephone message for Bobtail about 2.30pm. I logged into my account and it said reorder 8th November. I was in from 8am to 11am but had to meet a friend at the station at midday. On our return at 1pm the items were left at the front door with the box 7kg of tomatoes were just left on the top open where anyone could have taken them. Finally I ordered naan breads, garlic and coriander but got plain naans. Nobody returned my phone call from Saturday despite my having left a message. Delivery in the past was always on time and excellent, maybe just an off weekend but I would have appreciated some acknowledgment of my telephone message or an email at least to advise me of what was happening.

The reason we did not deliver on Saturday is that we've had to close on Saturdays for a while due to staffing issues. We contacted you personally via email on Thursday the 4th of November, offering delivery for Friday the 5th of November, or Monday the 8th of November. Perhaps our email fell into your spam folder? As we didn't hear from you, we arranged for delivery Monday.
I appreciate your concern with the Tomatoes, I'll be sure to raise this with our delivery team to see what went wrong.
We ran out of stock of the Garlic and coriander naans so we provided the best alternative we could, sorry about that.
Our Office opening hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4 PM, by the time our team got to your voicemail we saw that your order had been delivered, so assumed your query about the status of your delivery would have been solved.
I hope you do not see this experience as a reflection of our service.

Friendly delivery
Always prompt, great value produce and a super friendly delivery by Dom makes this the best service for fresh fruit and vegetables. We’ve been using Bobtail since the first lockdown, taking advantage of free delivery to our area in Essex. We have also been able to order milk, eggs, bread, cheese, snacks as well as liquid soap, deodorant and drinks. So good not to have to visit a supermarket and much better quality produce. We enjoy our chat with Dom and the family company is well run. Any problems we have had were sorted swiftly and satisfactorily. We would recommend Bobtail wholeheartedly. Excellent.

Amazing boxes - best quality out there
Amazing boxes. I’ve tried a few in London but this is by far the best quality and best value for money. I love how they have different boxes, keeping the end usage in mind (box to make salads, stews,…) and mixed boxes (salad + veg + fruit box). I bought the said mix box and could make 8 meals for 2 people out of it for only 20 GBP.
