So I visited the store at Ishøj after I seen on their website that they had in their outlet store a mirror (code name Medina) 60% off the normal price. When I requested to see it, the lady the... See more

Regarding the quality of the boconcept…
Regarding the quality of the boconcept sofa, we bought one which was SEK 33000, wool, de lux version, grey color. We barely set in it, and the wool looks like complete crap. Horrible, horrible quality! What a waste of money. Before that sofa, we had a bolia module sofa for 11 years, also wool, but the quality was absolutely amazing.
Stay away from the boconcept crap.
Fraudsters - Do not buy their furniture
We bought a sofa with BoConcept that costed a fortune and the fabric was defective giving light and dark shades from the first day that we seated on it. The company offered to exchange it for one with a fabric on the same price band or one band higher but we decided to buy get one with a fabric £200 cheaper. Now BoConcept is saying that they will not give us the cost difference back and they remain quiet for weeks not replying to our email. Do not buy their furniture, otherwise you are at risk of losing your money.
Overpriced. Repeated manufacturing defects. Too slow remedying things.
Ordered an extendable table with 6 matching chairs 16 months ago and I'm still waiting for my order to be satisfactorily fulfilled.
Everything arrived within 4 months from order, but the table tops were different colours, so I was informed a replacement would be with me in a further 3 months.
3 months later, the installers arrived with a replacement table top, but this time there was a manufacturing fault that revealed the chipboard underneath where the veneer had gone too thin. So the installers said they would order a third one for us.
8 months later I chased to see where the replacement was, and discovered it hadn't even been ordered.
I'm now 16 months on and I believe that the manufacturing of the walnut veneer that BoConcept sells is not fit for purpose. Which also brings into question the manufacture of their other items, which I have yet to experience.
I am of the belief that the delays I have experienced may be purely localised (but still unacceptable). So you may experience better service where you are in the world.
It does beg the question though: How can a company with over 265 stores in 60 countries (according to Wikipedia) stay in business with such repeated poor quality control. If my local franchise is experiencing these issues, then I'm guessing the other ones will be too, as I'm assuming they'll share the same supply chain for consistency?
In all, not a good experience. Shame, Ikea etc need some competition in the world.
Bowed Concept
I purchased a Fermo Entertainment Unit from Boconcept and have regretting the purchase ever since. The unit could not hold the weight of a medium sized television and small HiFi system, let alone anything placed within the drawers. After months of negotiation, the unit was replaced with another unit that has also bowed, this time without the television. In addition, the laminate has started to separate from the structure and the drawer fronts have also bent from minimal opening and closing. Bonconcept furniture looks great in the pictures but are in fact poorly made and unsuitable for everyday use. Poor quality, assembly and terribly overpriced.
Worst quality ever
Worst quality ever; BoConcept tries to differentiate themselves from IKEA as upscale and high quality and the quality is extra cheap. We bought a drawer made of walnut wood which we were told was solid wood and it was the cheapest laminated plywood. For the money (5times the price of IKEA) I thought it would be delivered built but that was also not the case. We had to build it ourselves. What a joke!
Not recommended: expensive and poor quality
I bought a large U-shaped corner sofa type Carmo in light beige Lux Felt fabric 2312 (still available) at Bo Concept. This cost more than 4000 € and it is by far the most expensive piece of furniture I have ever purchased. I can only advise everyone not to purchase this product! In no time, the (80% wool) Lux Felt fabric is completely worn off in the places where people sit. Lux Felt is a felt-like textile. However, the felt layer has completely worn down to the rough fabric. This makes the seat look old and outworn.
It is outrageous for such an expensive product that this can happen in such a short time. Before that I had a cheap but nice corner sofa at 1500 €, which I have had for over 10 years and still looked decent. This one is now over 15 years old, still looks decent and is still being used by a friend of mine.
So you see that more expensive does not mean better quality!
Do they know what customer service means?????
I bought two chairs and payd around 30.000 dk. kroner. I bought the chairs in their webshop and received a receipt but no exact information related to delivery. I called their warehouse that told me, that they would receive the chairs at a particular date and that they would send them to me one or two days after. Thus, I made my plans accordingly. The day when the chairs arrived at the warehouse, I heard nothing. I sent a mail and got no answer. Thus, I finally called their so-called customer service who told me that they had no time for delivery and mounting that week but would try to find time the week after. I told "customer service" that the warehouse had told me that they would deliver the chairs one or two days after they had received them, but the "customer service" told me that as I did not have this information in writing - who thought of that at the time I talked to the warehouse? - it was not a valid agreement and they would deliver sometime the week after.
Now, one has to understand that BoConcept delivers only weekdays and within normal working hours. This means that you need to be able to work from home or take a day off, and even worse: It seems that they are not able to plan their work at all. I received a message that they would deliver sometime between 7 in the morning and noon. That was not realistic, so they offered to deliver between noon and 4 in the afternoon. They promised to call me an hour before arrival. When the driver actually showed up, the time was about 4:45 in the afternoon, but he had called around 4 to say that he would arrive before 5.
This means that BoConcept has kept me at home for more than 5 hours due to their lack of planning.
And even more: Remember that the products from BoConcept are rather expensive and that you have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to get them. This means that there is all the time in the world for "customer service" to plan delivery. My chairs did not arrive at their warehouse unexpected from the moon. It was a planned order and delivery, but Boncept seems to have decided that they do not start planning delivery until the products are in their warehouse.
I am sorry but this is the last time that I buy anything from a company that lacks the ability to plan and demands written documentation of contacts between company and customer. And I have to say: Keeping customers at home for up to 5 hours because you cannot plan is not acceptable in 2020 where most companies are able to promise delivery at a predefined time and even keep that promise.
Disappointed, disappointed!!
I am writing this regarding my “Monza” table. After paying RM 13,000.00 for this table, we are sorely and sourly disappointed with both design and after sales service. After a year using the table, the glass literally come of from the UV disc. (which hold the glass and stand together), slight lean on one side the whole glass will flip up, it was so dangerous, we have to avoid go near the table. Due to the shift of the glass, when use of the extension of the table, it scratches and the extension can’t probably open. Fortunately, I notice it early and inform your service team and as promise they agree to replace the glass top for me.
After waiting more than 4 months for replacement table, we are informed that ONLY the main glass has been replaced, the extension glass top WILL NOT replace when the fundamental error in design have cause the extension glass unbalance and scratch. What kind of customer care compliance is this? I paid RM 13,000.00 for this table, but the quality of this table 10 times worse than Ikea table, with that kind of price, I expect to be last at least 10 year NOT ONE YEAR!
Considering the table cost, the product itself and customer expectation, we are extremely disappointed. We brought into a design value to be let down by integrity and thoroughly an unpleasant experience. Boconcept, five-star lifestyle brand but ONE STAR quality and service!!

Dear Bo Concept,
Dear Bo Concept,
Would like to express my words of appreciation for a great customer service.
Especially, would like to emphasize a positive experience by @ Suhail Syed and @Signe Kok Nielsen, who has provided the excellent consultancy to us regarding a design of a living room interior and selection of a carpet, matching to furniture, bought at Bo Concept.
It was a pleasure to interact with Suhail and Signe and gain such a deep domain expertise in the right manner of designing our home. Thank you again for your highly professional support!
Disorganised, unclear and very frustrating
I ordered (and paid for) a lamp on May 28. Was told it would take ~7-10 days to deliver, OK. During next three weeks, no one calls or sends any updates.
Then I called to the store myself, and was told the lamp can be collected in the store. But when I came to pick it up, they couldn't find it. A few days later, I am informed they had lost the lamp and had to order a new one.
Another two weeks passed, and I called again to check if it has arrived. I am then promised someone will call me back after they check at the warehouse, but no one calls - they simply forget / ignore.
Now I'm being told I have to wait another week - OK, let's see, but I don't have any hopes now.

Top Quality Product & Top Service like one can expect
We bought a Carlton Leather Sofa and a sofa table.
The price was very high and so were our expectations.
Although our Sofa arrived 5 weeks late due to a Factory problem, we were treated like first class customers by P. Sauer in Copenhagen. We received a very good compensation and were not dissappointed when we finally received our Sofa.
Completely built of metal, first class leather and an irresistible Design makes their Sofa worth the money.
We have never experience such a welcoming and friendly attitude by sales people and can only recommend this brand. You get what you pay for.
A hint for unsatisfied customers:
Unless you are buying a smaller product for a couple of thousands, do not accept a bottle of wine as a compensation, ask for more because a premium brand like BoConcept has also premium ways to make a customer feel good again.
