Spam mail in post

Anyone eligible for a free boiler under the government's boiler replacement scheme should go directly to the government's site. Then find a boiler supplier who is part of the grant scheme. Because this company is not one.

Boilergrants.org.uk don't offer boiler grants. And they don't they even fit boilers under the government boiler grant scheme either.

They're merely using a domain name and the boiler grant keywords all over their website for marketing and advertising is all.

Very dishonest and misleading practice.

Seems like Cons. They came from all the pics of radiators and boiler and back of house, front of house and UC letter for proof of address. Everything to get the grant and keep the money for themselves it seems! I have no new boiler and no underfloor insulation b like I was advised I could get. They have no means to contact them other than an email. A chat button that doesn't exsist and the number of the surveyor who had lost the picture of the front of my house and needed me to resend it. Avoid them. They are scammers.

My grandmother's boiler broke down and we were advised by Age Cymru is look into getting a grant. Boilergrants.org.uk were pathetically slow in coming back to us. After over a week where my 90 year old grandmother had no hot water I decided to cancel the process and purchase a boiler from a reputable local guy. No sooner did I tell Boilergrants.org.uk that I no longer wanted to proceed they emailed me to say that the current boiler was too efficient. Laughable. The boiler was 18 years old and the parts for it no longer exist. In order to boost their targets they make up utter lies and say that my grandmother no longer qualified. It was me that cancelled the process owing to the pathetic speed they operate at. They didn't offer to speed things up given my grandmothers age and knowing she had no heating and hot water. I questioned whether they were scammers at the outset but was assured they weren't. Always trust your first instinct as they turned out to be liars at least.

Fantastic. Very quick response I got my grant and within a month all installed. I now have a great heating system after having storage heaters for years. They tidied up after themselves and the installers were very friendly and professional. 5 star service. Claire Brisbane.

Extremely unprofessional, haven't a clue what they are talking about!  Manager is very rude! 
They tell you one price one minute then make an excuse to increase again, everyone you speak to gives you different pricing! book an appointment to fit then on the day not turn up or call you then when contacted they make yet another pathetic excuse to increase the price a 3rd time. Went from £250, £400 to £600. Just trying to figure out if they are scamming customers or the government funding scheme, probably both!

Extremely happy cannot thank billy and dean enough very professional considerate and respectful in our home we have a 1yr old little girl and a dog so a part of me was worrying about juggling everything while the work was being done as it was first time full central heating system being fitted well amazing job done highly recommend billy and dean great guys done a great job in 2 days cant thank them enough.

Caused 10k plus of damages due to bad install and no inserts being fitted
Numerous engineer reports completed as evidence for my court case against green hut
Never registered the install so not after another boiler problem the manufacturers are saying I have no warranty so currently at home with a vulnerable young child and no heating or hot water in winter. I could go on forever with their failings just don’t use them

In March this year we had gas central heating installed in our home, after just over 20 years living here! I am really pleased with the installation; the friendliness and great customer service of the installers.. I am really impressed with the work, especially the pipe work with the gas boiler. It’s really neat work – absolutely superb! Our house is now updated with a modern gas central heating system, which is not only good for us but also for future generations. As a family we are most grateful to the people who undertook this work, and certainly appreciative. The installer’s work of fitting the gas heating is of an exceptional standard, and I am extremely happy with the works undertaken. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the managers of Green Hut Energy. I was given to believe by one of their staff, that there would be a 13 year warranty on the boiler, for which I was to pay somewhere in the region of an extra £300. However, this was only discussed verbally over the phone, and not put into writing. I paid the extra money and waited for the warranty documents to come through the post. I now have the paperwork through about the boiler warranty and find that it is only for 6 years. I tried emailing about this matter and have as yet received no reply. I have tried calling the staff member’s mobile phone and left several messages, still no reply. The calls were expensive and put my phone bill up, so I did not call anymore. Eventually I decided to write them a letter about the extra monies and 13 year warranty that was nearly three months ago. In that letter I assured the company that I would be compiling a review. To anyone reading this I would say BEWARES of this company and do not just accept something verbally. Make sure to get all details and costs itemised, including any warranty periods in writing. I was fortunate, at least, to have exceptional installers who did a superb job at fitting the gas central heating system, for whom I would give a five star rating!

I wouldn't recommend them. Promise to get back to you with enquiries never do. Free Boiler? In your Dreams! Been told I'll have Double Panel Radiators.. Turned up with Single Panel when asked the question got told the Double panel are to long width ways to fit.. What the... They're the same width and that's from someone apparently with Training... The Radiators are the cheapest you can get. Installers are over worked and having to travel miles.. Took a full Month to fully install everything with a lot of letting down (Again not the installers fault they're being overworked). Doubt there is a Discount at the end with the cheap Materials came upto £3,100! Just thankful it's over and done with now got the Central Heating in the end wouldn't touch them so learn from my Mistake...

MASSIVELY MISLEADING, Their website states: Under the Governments ECO Scheme in 2019, qualifying home owners could have their old in-efficient boilers replaced completely free of charge, or heavily subsidised. If you qualify, we can arrange for a local, approved company to contact you to complete the installation of your new boiler. This service is free to use." The company they arranged to call me was 0800 Repair and asked for a stupidly high contribution without even visiting the property, therefore, how is this 'free of charge'.. or even 'heavily subsidised' who gets the 'free boilers' they advertise? Waste of time.

Just updating a previous review. 4 months they've had my contribution of £600 and 3 months later they said they can't fit the boiler. 3 weeks after this and still waiting for a refund. They have never contacted me re: any updates. I have always received information when I have called. I believe they would have never advised me of anything unless I had bothered to call. After 3 weeks and no refund I called and they said that due to data protection they hadn't been able to give my money back! When were they going to let me know?!
Awful frustrating experience with this company. Don't use this one for grants...use .co.uk site, it seems more legit. I'm stranded as to what to do for my money now!!! I ended up on their site by accident and it's the biggest mistake of my online life. Wasted more than 3 months of my time. Very incompetent and inefficient...please avoid like the plague

Very misleading! I’ve been trying my best to be put in touch with ‘Green Hut Energy’ for almost over 2 weeks. Today I FINALLY recieved a call and the call process was going well until I was then told my boiler needs to be over 12 years old in order qualify? sorry what!? I’ve had my boiler since 2010 and it has faults! this was the initial requirement to begin with in order to qualify. The website clearly indicated the boiler needs to be +5 years. Alongside this, during the application process, not once did it mention anything to do with 12 years, It only stated +7 years if so. I’m hugely disappointed with the service & not sure why I’ve been mislead. I’d like some answers & perhaps a better process if we wish to carry on further.
