I ordered a 3in 1 curling brush set and a curling wand. At no time did it state anything about only being refunded in store credit during the ordering process or I would not have ordered as I didn’t know this company. The brush set would not connect and therefore would not turn on. Both items were for my 13 year old daughter and she was disappointed so I looked up their return policy and went through the whole process where it was stated that we would be refunded. I drove over an hour to return them and when they were received I got an email that I had been refunded with store credit. Again, this was not stated anywhere. Their products don’t work, so why would I want to buy something else. Very poor customer service. I was happy to buy from a Canadian brand but I will not be buying from this one and will make sure I tell everyone about my horrible experience.

And as you can see by their response, they have taken zero responsibility. Addressing the problem is not solving it.

10/10!!! 💗 I purchased the Ash Blonde 20 inch halo!! It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of volume!! it’d be great if eventually maybe the Company can carry longer sizes with more grams!! The color was exactly like the photo!! Shipping was fast and arrived on time as I selected next day delivery!! Excellent Customer Service!!

A scam. Ordered on the 7th of December. Items still hadn’t arrived so contacted the company. Was initially told it hadn’t shipped and they’d check why, I asked to cancel the order they just keep putting it off and refusing. Then told it shipped on the 9th but tracking was stuck. Asked again to cancel the order with no response 3 days later. Will be issuing a charge back and reporting the company. This is so unprofessional and Frances in customer service has been very unhelpful.

First off I would like to say that the quality on Bombay Hair extensions are usually quite good, but with my recent orders of tape in extensions I have to note that the quality has declined. More specifically the tapes that come on the tape in hair extensions are very low quality - with a head of 175grams of tape in extensions over HALF of the tapes have slipped out and were required to be reinstalled. It created such a mess - which could have been avoided with tapes that were actually sticky. We even tried heat sealing the tapes the second time around and the tapes still couldn’t hold (and yes they were installed by a licensed professional - TWICE). The tapes right out of the package you can tell they aren’t very sticky. I’m going to have to remove all the extensions and replace with higher quality tape replacements in order for them to stay in the hair. Very frustrating…I hope they fix this. Also usually the hair is quite soft and lasts well over a year - but the most recent order the hair already feels brittle and is shedding like crazy! Shame I loved this company because they are Canadian and the quality is was usually top notch…lately I’m starting to question if I can rely on this company for hair and am contemplating switching. I don’t except a reply- I just hope someone from Bombay sees this and fixes the tape issue.

Their reply was to reiterate, that this is 'normal' and are not willing to provide any type of solution. DO NOT BUY!

Terrible product and customer service. Chunks of hair are falling out - this is not normal shedding as they claim. I have worn extensions for 10+ years and this is a faulty product. Their customer service takes weeks to provide no resolution. DO NOT BUY.

I was told no shipping , no tariff fees, no cost to me . The package showed up and I was told if I wanted to keep it I had to pay ANOTHER $66 dollars to keep the package! No where do they disclose this or told me . Also- the delivery requires a money order - how do I even get a money order at my door not knowing anything about it or price until package shows up so then have to go to a store and not get package until next day- when I paid $30 overnight shipping on Wednesday and got it Friday! With more charges!

Firstly at this point I would go with 0 stars, not 1.

I am a professional stylist specifically for weddings and events. I was looking at new extension brands as an alternative to Bellami when they weren't shipping to Canada, looking for extensions I could rent out to brides and other clients and also to recommend to clients who wanted to purchase extensions for themselves. I decided to order Bombay extensions for myself to test out before deciding to use them for my business.

The first problem was the color. I ordered the caramel toned brown extensions - caramel =warm. What did I get? Very green brown extensions. The color was hideous, truly. I didn't have time for returns or exchanges as I had actually ordered them for an event, so I just colored over them myself. An extra expense in time and gas and hair color as well as wasted time dying them when I shouldn't have had to.

After fixing the color was realizing these do not hold a curl at all. I have used extensions for 13 years, I am also a stylist. It's not me, it's the hair. My normal extensions hold for 2 weeks at a time before I'm recurling them, Bombay extensions I have had to curl every single time I've worn them. Forget all the tricks, they don't work on these.

Then came the third issue. I have honestly only worn these extensions maybe 30 times since purchasing them 4 months ago. And even if I had worn them everyday, I've only had them 4 months. And yet after only a couple times of wearing them the clips started coming loose. You can see just by comparing the thread to other clip extension companies that whatever thread they're using is garbage. I think there is only 4 or 5 clips still attached in my 5 piece set (14 clips total). I've never had any clip extensions I've used in the past start coming undone until about a year in to owning them, and I used to wear them daily. Again this is not user error, it's terrible product quality. The whole point of me ordering clips from an extension company is so that I don't have to sew them on myself because I dread doing that, yet that's exactly what I'll be doing for these overpriced barely used extensions.

And that brings me to my last issue, the terrible and non-existent customer service. They had absolutely no issues with communication when I was purchasing the extensions and had questions (usually I would hear back within 24 hours). So someone in the company please explain to me why I have sent at least 4 separate emails over the last month, not even explaining my issue just saying that I wanted to talk about a quality issue with someone, and I have NEVER heard back, not ONCE! I even did their AI chat bot and said I had not recieved any communication from anyone, to which said it would mark my complaint as urgent and I would hear back from someone within 48 hours. Well that was a week ago and still not a word.

So everyone save yourself the hassle and order somewhere else. I will not be recommending these to any clients and in fact will be putting on my business page to stay away from this company, and I certainly won't be purchasing multiple sets to use for my business like I had intended.

Editing to add in response to Bombay's response that there were no emails whatsoever received in response to my emails, not in my junk folder as I check that everyday, nor in any other folder.

It was good. Little more in depth will be better for me as a first time user with not enough background info on this.

Janessa was so friendly and resolved my issue with the curler immediately. I have also bought hair extensions from here in the past and the quality is amazing!

It was my 1st experience with Bombay Hair , i heard about them a-lot . really the hair stuff and price is awesome , hairs looks like real , the girl at reception is so kind. strongly recommend .

Terrible hair extensions. They became so scraggly after just two months and matted at the root. When I showed them photos they said I was outside the 30 days and wouldn’t return them… offered me $100 gift card lol I declined.
