Collecting clients’ money for unavailable items
I placed an online order on 1st September for an apparently “in stock” available rug.
After receiving an e-mail stating that my order was being prepared from shipping, no tracking was made available in the following 10 days.
I contacted the company via e-mail (they seem to have a dedicated one for online orders): no reply.
So I contacted the company again, and the company owner (Zara) only then confirmed that , due an error with “Shopify” , the rug I had purchased was not available.
I hence asked to be refunded (!!) but, still pretending nothing had happened, was asked if I could be suggested something else to purchase.
As I believe this is an attempt to delay the refund, I acted on PayPal and will report fraudulent behavior unless I receive my money back.
