Perfect procedure, very kind persons!

The apartment was not cleansed when I took the key. It was molded, too dirty. Fridge, bathroom , the whole house was in a filthy state. None of the maintenance is done in the apartment. Bathroom shower was broken, window shatter is broken, sofa was broken. TV is not working. Lambs are not working

I am very disappointed with the service of yours. You demanded that I fill all my obligations; However you didn't check anything with the landlord. You weren't even present at the key submission

I request Maud to call me and give me an advise of what to do. I had no response

So I will write an official complaint letter to demand the payment I have made to you

The website is amazing. Everything went well until now (I'm already living on the flat). The only suggestion I would give is to improve the communication. All the time you send a mail to a person and got an answer from another person and, if you are abroad, this makes you feel a bit insecure. Another suggestion is to ensure that the client will get back their "caution". In many other countries there is no such a thing of waiting for two months to get back this money. In two months other person can rent the place and break everything. Think about it!

The one critique I have with Book A Flat was a personal experience I had trying to organise flat viewings. I do not live in France and I only had one day where I was able to travel to Paris to see them. After making this clear I was still unable to view the flats and was left in Paris with without any viewings. However once I decided on a flat without a viewing the process of signing the lease was very smooth and efficient.

I have had the luck to rent a flat in Paris through Book A Flat, which is very good. Book A Flat provides a lot of useful help and assistance since I started to search for an apartment online before I came to Paris. Their staff members are friendly and efficient; they always respond to my inquiry without any delay. I would like to recommend this agency to anyone who need such kind of assistance.

Very bad experience both with the agency and the owner of the apartment that the agency represents ! Do not rent an apartment based solely on the pictures on the website as they are old and misleading. Do not trust the agency that is telling you that the apartment is nice, clean and has no issues etc. Go and visit or do not rent if they refuse the visit ! Otherwise you might have a lot of very bad surprises after signing the rent agreement and paying the rent and the agency fees. In addition, you will not be reimbursed for what you paid.

I looked at possibly every agency site out there for a flat rental in Paris for my year abroad. Although I didn't have any particularly negative experiences with the other agencies, no one worked quite as hard and was as prompt as Book A Flat. Every question was answered within 24 hours, a great feat for a 9 hour time difference between us. My rental consultant even went as far as taking the time after her work day to video the area around a flat I was interested in to show me that the surrounding area was safe and clean. They kept follow up with the owner of the flat to ensure that all documents were in on time and made the entire process very easy. I would recommend Book A Flat to anyone looking to move to Paris!
