I bought a book and then they sent me an ebook. The description clearly mislead the buyer to think it was a book. There is absolutely no mention of the book being an ebook. It doesn't mention that you will get a link with the ebook, but it does clearly state how many pages it has, the author, etc. The basic information. I asked for a refund, but they refused. Coming here to see all the other poor reviews confirms they are not a good place to do business.

Total scam. They don't advertise or disclose the books are ebooks until after order is complete and they send you the ebook. I ordered a book, nowhere on the listing does it state ebook, and put in my mailing address. I received my receipt via email, again nothing saying anything about ebook. The next day I received an email with the digital ebook. I immediately emailed them back inquiring about my physical book and explaining I was unaware of it being an ebook since it was not disclosed anywhere on their site. They emailed back stating I could not get a refund or a physical copy replacement. Yet, nowhere in their return policy does it mention anything about ebooks or no returns on ebooks. Complete scam! Already left a review and filed a complaint with the BBB, and as soon as my payment clears my credit care I will be reporting it with them as well.

I purchased a book online from this company not realizing it was an ebook edition until the order was confirmed. I tried to cancel the ebook & reorder a hard copy of the book. They immediately emailed me the ebook & would not cancel the order or exchange the ebook for a hard copy.

I am a bookseller and I find bookfinder to be invaluable at finding copies available for even the most obscure titles and at what prices. It gives me a great overview of the market. There is no other site remotely comparable to Bookfinder.

Steer clear of bookfinder.com. I purchased an ebook that has no formatting options so it can only be read with very tiny font. I contacted the company and they said tough luck. Very poor customer service.

Used to be useful resource. Now it's a list of the same copy of a title for sale on multiple platforms. If you're not interested in the beat up version on site A it's no more appealing on sites B through G at slightly higher prices.

BookFinder obviously tracks all your searches, then use that information to buy books that are expensive and low in supply in order to sell them for more money. I found several books where magically all the new copies available were gone shortly after my search on their website. If you care about your online privacy and don't want to pay more for books, never use this crappy site.

I always found the bookfinder website to be a very useful resource for tracking down difficult to find books.

Recently, however, I tried to find a specific book, typed in the author's name correctly and it did not appear. I tried typing in the title instead. Again it did not appear. It was only when I typed in the author and the title together that it came up. There is clearly some sort of censorship going on here.

My faith in this site has been seriously eroded.

I've been using bookfinder.com for many years, and it's always come through for me! They can find just about anything, in or out of print! What a great resource!

I heard about this website from a TV show I watched about 20 years ago. The funny thing is nobody knows about it but if you're looking for a book, ANY BOOK, especially one that is rare, collectible or out-of-print, LOOK HERE FIRST. I have referenced this website for all kinds of rare books and they always pop up here! I love the search engine, the lists of books and where to find them, the choices, the rudimentary and no-frills design of the site... basically it's just your average search engine that looks for nothing but BOOKS, with no bells or whistles. If you're a bookworm like me who craves knowledge, you'll find it here.

I buy a lot of books on-line, mostly obscure and out of print. When I find a title I want, the first place I look is bookfinder. Nearly always they will point to the cheapest good quality tome. Some of the other collators are good, but bookfinder is great.
