I wish I could get disgruntled friends and relatives who subscribe to other carriers to switch, but apparently the complexity of their bundled plans makes switching too much trouble and expense

I've been with them from the time of the Virgin Mobile transfer, and have no problem with the service, etc., and no plan or interest in switching.
Perhaps the timing was right, as I was able to upgrade to the 5g Moto g stylus when my LG Stylo Phone became unusable and I didn't have to upgrade my plan!

I've been with Boost for 19/20 years, with the only year I was apart (switched to Virgin Mobile) was 2008-2009 after starting with Boost in 2006. I quickly went back to Boost the year after. I remember when users of other carriers would mock Boost customers for their walkie-talkie feature and thicker phone models. To see their growth in service and longevity establish a national presence is amazing, especially since I'm an "OG" customer.
I wish Boost didn't require the app on the phones or a difficult login process. I liked it much better when I could call customer service (or go to the website) to pay, just needing my phone number and PIN. Having the username and password stuff is a bit annoying and unnecessary because, as you imagine in today's world, nearly everyone requires a sign-up with one; so it's hard to remember all the usernames, passwords, passcodes, etc., for all the accounts and subscriptions we have. Why don't you eliminate the app and the extra steps to log in? Instead, if you really wanted "extra security," allow customers to link their Google or Apple accounts to Boost after the initial phone number and PIN sign-in.
