I had previously struggled with hearing aids but thought I'd give it a final try by going to Boots Audiology dept in Newport, Isle of Wight. What a revelation! Melissa Kelly was nothing short of amazing, giving me the advice and help I've never had before. Nothing was too much trouble for Melissa and I've now discovered sounds I lost years ago with custom made inserts and so much more. If you live on the Island and need hearing help then go see Melissa, she is the BEST!!

Melissa was great in helping me through my hearing test and subsequent choosing of the right hearing aids for me. The follow up care was also excellent.

Melissa was excellent in helping me through the process when I went for a hearing test. She explained everything very clearly and thoroughly. It’s quite daunting needing hearing aids, but wow! What a difference they’ve made to my life. I no longer worry about going into noisy environments. In fact sometimes I feel like I’m eavesdropping! And I can even hear tea bags rustle as I lift them out of the jar.

The hearing aid supplied is a great product itself which is capable of being fine tuned to my specific hearing needs - its not just an amplifier. On top of that Boots Hearingcare in Newport IOW has been excellent in all respects. They made a complicated challenge easy. A big shout out to Melissa Kelly who happens to be the most committed, enthusiastic and caring health care professional I have met on the Island in 3 years.

Comprehensive and exhaustive testing . Concise and fully explained recommendations. Excellent customer service throughout. First class.

Sam made a quite anxious moment seem like an everyday event .The hearing test was through and at no point did he put pressure to purchase a more expensive aid ,the follow up has been great and I would recommend him to all my hard of hearing pals

Sam has been my audiologist for the past six years and is totally the best! Appointments with him are stress free, the advice given second to none and importantly, he genuinely cares about my hearing problems and always does his upmost to make sure the hearing aids are what I need.
Other high street companies may offer cheaper prices but trust me, you do not get the aftercare and wonderful service that you get from Boots. I am so grateful to Sam for what he’s done for me and made my life better.

Excellent. I have had a number of trials that have never improved my hearing and I have handed the aids back. Sam was superb and has managed to sort out a complex problem to restore my hearing. Unlike other hearing firms the focus was on solving the problem rather than selling me an aid.

We had a brilliant experience with Melissa at the Isle of Wight store, she was really patient with my 90 year old Nan, very interesting when explaining everything she was doing and Nan is so pleased with her hearing aids after years of denying she needed them 🙂
