Absolutely terrible company. Paid for a dishwasher to be installed in a fitted kitchen. Couldn’t install it, wouldn’t refund the installation fee and didn’t take away the old dishwasher.

I’m writing this review out of sheer frustration. My washing machine has developed a fault, and despite trying every possible route, I cannot get any help. The customer service number (0344 892 7989) is permanently engaged. I emailed customer service with no reply. I even escalated the issue by emailing CEO Carl Arntzen directly, and I am still waiting.
This has left me without a working appliance and no support whatsoever. I would appreciate immediate contact on 07854 218367. This experience has been incredibly disappointing.

This is the 4th time our dishmasher breaks in 12 months. Clearly a very poor machine which BOSCH refused to change despite being faulty all the time.
Once called the Bosch service repair person will need 4-5 days to come. We will NEVER buy BOSCH again. Never.

Bosch is a very good company and their tools are reliable. The price is usually above average, but you get good value for the money. Their tools are also good and practical for work. In my experience, the German-made tools are better than the Chinese versions, even though the Chinese ones are still decent. Overall, Bosch tools are strong and even the Chinese versions are still better than many other brands in the market.
well, i was going to write a big review to tell everyone my awful experience however after coming to the reviews apparently this is already the worst company in the UK. 2000+ reivews 1 star.
long story short.
i bought a $600 AC Unit my dog chewed the cable. I told im willing to pay for an electrician of theirs to fix the cable or send a new cable which i will pay since it was my dog that chewed the cable. THEY replied and i REPEAT "sorry we cant offer you repairs, or a new cable, go buy a new AC UNIT" that is just laughable hahaha. buy a whole ac unit just for a silly cable. i told themn this, and they said and i repeat "dont fix it yourself, its a hazard". well then. avoid bosch unless you like to buy new products when even the easiest fix happens like a silly little cable.
I purchased a GlassVac and, after approximately a week, it stopped working. I have since spent over two weeks trying to arrange a collection to return the item for a refund, and the courier has failed to collect the parcel twice.
I was advised to log the issue by email but received no response. I also submitted a formal complaint, which stated a response would be provided within 24 hours, and again no response. I have had to call repeatedly to chase updates, which has been time-consuming and frustrating.
Still waiting......
I bought a BOSCH Unlimited 6 BCS612GB Cordless Vacuum Cleaner. I thought Bosch was a good brand but can safely say this is the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. The suction is so weak. On turbo, it performs more like a normal vacuum, but the battery wont last long. The crevice tool is too long and is bendy making it virtually useless. There is very little capacity in the dust collector as the filter takes up nearly all the space. The dust sticks to the outside of the filter, which clogs very quickly. This has put me off Bosch for good and I wont buy any other products from them.

I recently contacted Bosch** customer service to update my Wi-Fi details in the Home Connect app for my dishwasher. The advisor was extremely helpful, patient, and didn’t rush the call at all. She made sure everything was fully working before we ended the conversation.
Excellent service and a great experience overall. Very impressed
I have a Bosch microwave combi oven, which came with two round grills for use with the oven functions. These grills have thin rubber stoppers over the feet, to stop the metal legs connecting with the metal turntable.
Unbeknownst to me, the metal legs can wear through the rubber stoppers. I figured this out when the two metal parts connected during use, causing sparks and flames which damaged the coating on the turntable.
I've been too scared to use it again.
I contacted Bosch - I consider this a dangerous design flaw - to flag the issue and see if I can get replacement parts. They don't sell (or give) the rubber stoppers, so I apparently have to buy new grills, in addition a new turntable.
I find it hard to believe that a reputable company like Bosch seems to have no problem with such a potentially dangerous design flaw, but on top of that, that they have no concern for sustainability. There's nothing wrong with the grills, but because Bosch won't provide new rubber stoppers, I'm going to have to replace the whole thing and send the original grills to landfill.
That's on top of the fear I now have that my microwave oven might catch alight!
Update: not sure what extra info you want. I don't have a reference number and don't wish to share my phone number.

I have had my Bosch dishwasher since 4 October 2025. It is quiet and in the main cleans well. However, the lower rack does not hold the plates in a stable fashion allowing slight movement resulting in the plates touching and therefore poor cleaning result! Also top tray some cups fall!
Bosch advised contacting AO who have offered 55% of the cost towards a new dishwasher and AO will keep 45%.
I think Bosch themselves should have taken more interest in the issues with this dishwasher!
Thinking about AO offer!

I’ve ordered replacement glass for my oven and it was delivered in 2 days but unfortunately glass was shattered. I’ve contacted customer service via Facebook and operator immediately ordered replacement that was delivered in 3 working days. I’m impressed with prompt response and great customer service. Definitely hassle free and great experience.

Disappointing experience with Bosch washing machine and customer service
We purchased a Bosch washing machine less than a year ago, trusting the brand’s reputation for quality and reliable customer care. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing.
Within the first year, the machine developed serious faults. It began leaking water across the bathroom floor and, during the spin cycle, it shakes and jumps violently to the point where we are genuinely concerned it could damage the pipework behind it. Then, the machine also stops working altogether mid-cycle.
We contacted customer service immediately and have now been waiting four weeks for the issue to be properly resolved. One engineer visited and stated that everything was fine, despite the problem being clearly visible and demonstrated. A second visit was arranged but never took place. A third representative has now advised that repairs could take at least another month.
As a family of four with two young children, this situation is extremely difficult to manage. The machine cost nearly £1,000 and is still under a year old, yet we have been hand-washing clothes for the entire household for over a month, with another month to go, at least.
This level of product reliability and after-sales support falls far below expectations for a premium appliance and a brand such as Bosch. The lack of timely resolution and the need for repeated follow-ups has caused significant inconvenience and stress.
We chose Bosch believing we were investing in quality and dependable service. Regrettably, our experience has been the opposite. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise prospective buyers to carefully consider their product reliability and after-sales support before making a purchase.

Flexxo Gen2 28Vmax ProAnimal Red. So disappointing due to poor component quality. In the 3 months we have owned it all the electrics have been changed under warranty due to an intermittent power failure, now the flimsy filter (part 0110) has failed - the thin red pull handle just snapped, and what a surprise it is not covered by the warranty. We switched to Bosch from another leading manufacturer due to their thin plastocs, thinking that Bosch has a reputation for good quality parts sadly not for this product. Cheep connectors and thin plastics. Nothing lasts these days does it but I expect more than 3 months.
>>>
Thank you for the reply but I cannot see a request Information tab on Trustpilot - are you referring to the Bosch review site? I have ordered a replacement bin, but my views will not change - the sprung connectors are poor quality and the plastics are thin.

We (partner) ordered a new Bosch dishwasher, and as the one who has been left to deal with the consequences, including washing dishes for a family with two young children without a working kitchen sink for nearly three weeks, I thought I would provide what to expect.
Bosch have delivered two dishwashers, both damaged. One of them was actually leaking water before it was even fully unpacked, which makes me seriously question whether these were refurbished or returned goods being passed off as new.
Because the dishwasher still isn’t installed, our kitchen sink can’t be used at all. There’s an open waste connection that can’t be capped. So every dish, bottle, pan, and lunchbox for the kids has had to be washed in the bathroom, often late at night or early in the morning just to keep on top of things. It’s exhausting and completely unacceptable.
What’s worse is Bosch’s attitude. Their response has essentially been:
“These things happen.”
No urgency. No empathy. No attempt to speed up the replacement after their mistakes. Just rigidly “following protocol” as if this massive disruption to our home and family life is insignificant.
Their only “solution” was to offer a refund that could take 3–5 days, meaning that if we then order another machine we’d be waiting even longer pushing us well past three weeks without a usable kitchen sink.
For a brand with Bosch’s reputation, the lack of care, accountability, or basic customer service has been despicable. The inconvenience to our family has been enormous, and Bosch have shown zero goodwill or effort to put things right quickly.
Absolutely not what we expected, and we won’t be choosing Bosch again.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher on 9 February, and since then I’ve received two damaged machines one delivered on 13 February, the replacement on 20 February. The installer even advised me not to accept the second one because the damage could have compromised the internal water tank.
I suspect Bosch is shipping out used or return/refurbished products and not new.
What makes this situation worse is that, because the dishwasher isn’t installed, I’ve been unable to use my kitchen sink for nearly three weeks. The sink waste pipe connects through the dishwasher outlet, which is currently a gaping open drain, making the sink completely unusable. I’ve had no choice but to wash dishes in the bathroom, which is both inconvenient and unhygienic.
Bosch’s attitude throughout this process has been dismissive, “these things happen.” No urgency, no real support, no attempt to speed up delivery after their repeated failures.
The only thing they’ve offered is a refund that could take 3–5 days, meaning if I wait for that, then order a new machine, it could be another 5 days before it’s delivered. That means over three weeks without a functioning kitchen sink because of Bosch’s poor handling.
Completely unacceptable for a brand of this size. I expected better.

I've encountered a really bad experience with one of the engineers who came out today. First impression, he seemed to be busy over the phone with someone, not even paying attention to what I had to tell him about the issue! Asked him a question and he gave absolutely no response, as if he didn't want to be here.
He took his electronic devices and did a few checks. He asked me what the problem was, and I told him the washing machine is turning on and was washing, but didn't seem to be drying at all. He asked me to help him push some buttons as he was wearing gloves, and then he opened the bottom of the washing machine.
He saw 1 little dead cockrach and he said "There you go, you have an infestation in the washing machine, and this is why your machine is not working! "And the board is gone!
I asked him if he could move the machine so that we could visually check and confirm if there were any cockroaches, but he refused to do anything. He did not even bother moving the washing machine.
He said to me, "Your warranty is void, and that was it. He did not open anything or even check the back. Later, we did a check, took photos and videos, but there was nothing around the back of the washing machine, and nothing crawling!! The engineer blatantly lied in his report that he had seen loads of cockroaches all over inside the washing machine!! I guess he is just an incompetent engineer who just wanted to be in and out of the job without really fixing the problem.
Unashamed, the engineer wrote in the report - Please do not rebook this call back. Also found controls boards faulty and the relay clicking.
He seemed to be in a rush and just left.
Complaining to the Teamleader, I was told I now need to get a certificate or note for pest control before they can look at it again. I was quoted by Pest Control - £120 survey plus extra for visits! Until this is sorted, they will not be looking into the machine. That response does not guarantee they will come and fix the machine!
I have paid for a very expensive Machine that only worked for a year, and now excuses upon excuses for voiding the warranty, and the engineer did not even propose a solution or resolution! Probably the first and last time using Bosch! Very unhappy with the outcome, and reading several similar experiences confirms my point.

Bosch kettle only lasted 3 1/2 years in a retired, no kids household.

Terrible experience with customer service. Very disappointing, especially considering Bosch is generally regarded as a reputable brand. My newly purchased fridge has been quite noisy, and instead of addressing the issue, the staff seemed frustrated when I asked for information. Rudeness, to say the least. They are implying that the problem is with the ventilation, contrary to what the vendor is saying. Very disappointing service for a brand I had been told was good.
