After ordering a spare part Callum was belligerent rude hostile over a faulty state hose after the listing when purchasing a dish washer was incorrect…I was blocked from escalating my complaint and was forced to escalate the issue to director level, the joke was Callum didn’t even want to bother asking what the spare part was or the fault that was clearly a manufacturing fault it arrived with….yet stroppy Callum IMMEDIATELY wanted to send out an engineer to look at a flexi pipe…may be Bosch have some less unpleasant call handlers as your reviews show A LOT of unhappy customers and you lack a USP…

Don’t bother buying form here!
Bought a washing machine 3 weeks ago washing machine was installed it had water on the inside (they told me it was some sort of procedure) strange. Was already having problems with the washing machine form the very first day at times it wouldn’t spin or drain then other times it would untill last week were it stopped working completely I called to get it looked at last week the guy told me that I was better of exchanging this machine for a different one as it doesn’t work, I tried to exchange it (bought from domenic smith) they then told me they need an RTG number which I was not provided with called Bosch they told me they cannot give me an RTG number and that the engineer wrote on the report that it could be fixed with parts (which that’s not true) so then they told me that they can’t give my provider (domenic smith) the RTG number as that’s provided with the report that the engineer gives BOSCH (but I thought that they already had the report as they told me the engineer wrote on the report that the washing machine “needed parts” I called again today only to speak to a rude man I was explaining how I needed the RTG number and he started speaking over me and when I would speak he said “no no no no No IM SPEAKING” I beg your pardon so then I told him to put me though to a manager (as he was useless) at first he told me he wouldn’t put me though to a manager then eventually he did I asked the (supposed manager) if she was the manager she kept on trying to avoid the question and going back and forth asking me what was wrong I told her about 5 times are you the manager she then told me no ?!?!? Why am I getting out though to someone who’s not the manager avoiding the question I then eventually got put thought the manager that was also useless all she did was put my case higher and I’ve now been 2 weeks without my washing machine it’s been one week since the engineer came out and yet no report has been given to them (that’s at least what they were saying) meaning that they don’t have the RTG number to give to my provider therefore this is being delayed more than they should on top of that it’s ridiculous how I have to go back and forth with phone calls when BOSCH is the one that gave faulty goods to domenic smith and that got sold. Absolute disgrace of a company and especially customer service. I can see why the reviews are so low lol

Cut through cable on circular saw. Bosch’s website quoted max price of £88. Sent it of after two weeks of waiting for them to collect and numerous emails. New max price was £106 as apparently it was no longer a “repair” but a “replace”. Lots of further emails asking why change with no reply. Eventually had item sent back and repaired it myself for £10 buying a cable on eBay. Works perfectly. Absolute rip off of a company.
We bought a new frost free Bosch upright freezer to replace our ageing existing model. Despite being frost free, the temperature alarm has sounded this morning as it's frozen up overnight. It's four months old and the door was definitely shut. We've had to take the contents out to defrost it, some have gone in the fridge and some in the 15 year old freezer we haven't got rid of yet. The instruction book says "Find a cool place to put the contents while you defrost it", well it's 28 degrees at the moment and cool spaces are a bit thin on the ground. We're now waiting for it to come down to temperature, which has been incredibly slow, so we can get the stuff from the fridge back in it. Thank goodness we kept the old freezer or we would have lost everything.
Shortly before the freezer, on a recommendation, we also bought a Bosch washing machine. This doesn't clean properly. We've changed the detergent and it's quantity, but many things still come out smelly and horrible and have to be washed again.
Our worst decision has been to buy Bosch, never again.

Sent email on 7/5/26 to the spares division about a faulty spare part. Had no response. It is now 27/5/26.
Order no 1120842851
29/11/25
Electric nozzle 17002172
Part has failed within 5 months, not acceptable
Same fault as on the original appliance. I believe this is a known design fault on the series 8 unlimited.

Do not buy a product from this company. I had a new hob installed on the 1st May. The hob was installed perfectly - however, when they opened the cast iron pan supports /stand one of them was completely broken. The engineer was very apologetic and said that if he had realised sooner he would not have fitted it but called his team and said that it was broken. He assured us that somebody would be in touch to get it sorted and one of two things would happen: 1. They would send a new support or 2. If they could not send a new support, they would replace the hob. As it was bank holiday weekend, I assumed that they would be in touch on the Tuesday. I did not hear anything so I rang AO who sold the hob to me and they did not know anything about it and got it touch with Bosch who also claimed they had no idea. They asked me to take pictures (the engineer had already done this) and then send them on. Within, 24 hours I had a response and a new hob stand was on the way. I thought, " Great, what amazing customer service!" When I opened the stand and put it on my hob, it was the wrong one. I contacted them again, and they sent another stand (the exact same one they had already sent - wrong). I then spoke to a woman who said she would send a pair so that they would definitely be matching. I opened up the pair, and as I looked at it, I thought, they've done it. They've sent the right one as it actually looked like that one I already have. It looked too familiar, as it was the one I already had; the one for the side I needed was the exact same one they had already sent me. So again, back to square one. I sent yet another email, explaining the situation and expected a response back in their usually timely fashion. However, this time - no response. I rang up again and spoke to a woman who said that I would have to ring the next day due to the office being shut for the day (fair enough). I rang them the next day and spoke to a woman. Who was just as confused about the situation as I am. She assured me that she had escalated it further and that I should receive a response back that day or the next day. This brings us to today - surprise, I have not received a call back or an email. So I rang, yet again. The woman I have spoken to was incredibly condescending and rude, told me to resend my email and that I should hear back from somebody. I have lost all faith in the customer service team and now have 4 hob stands that are the wrong ones, which I will have to send back at some point (they will receive their spare parts back when I receive the correct pan stand).
They know that you have no other choice but to wait for them; they know that you need them to sort out the issue because it affects how you live. Yet they do not care to solve the problem. Every time I have spoken to someone from customer service, I have felt as if they are accusing me of lying about the whole situation. Do you really think I have the time to be contacting you at all hours if I was lying? You can't even find a number to put a formal complaint in or escalate things further - they just fob you off.
My advice, avoid! If the product is working correctly then you will probably be incredibly happy but if you have to ring customer service - you are doomed!!

I brought a Bosch vacuum cleaner which was quarter of the price of most on the market, absolutely brilliant, it was a Which recommended product and out performs the other far more expensive brands, and so easy to use, emptying the cylinder etc is so simple 😀

Cross reference this review with one I placed about Curry's. Long story short, Bosch vacuum cleaner, purchased 8 weeks ago, faulty, not working. Currys said they can't replace or refund, have to go to Bosch. Spoke to Kevin at Bosch, (a most pleasant operator), he says we have to go to Curry's. Repair wouldn't happen for 3 weeks with no guarantee it can be repaired so could be without vacuum cleaner for 2 to 3 months! Consumer Rights Act 2015. Companies, please read them and start treating the customer the way they used to be! If this is progress, it sucks! Next step, Trading Standards quoting said Consumer Rights Act 2015).

Spin cycle is a complete joke. Have never been so regretful about purchasing a washing machine from what I thought was a decent brand. I would better off with a mangle and washing line.

BOSCH! No tracking number provided by default. TNT / FEDEX leave no info at all... just a link to webpage that doesn't exists: fedex . com / gb / mypackage... so it's a dead end unless one stays home waiting for that courier to show up at whatever random time... doesn't work.

Firstly if i could leave a zero star rating i would !!!
Absolutely appalling customer service , agents cant be bothered to support and aren't interested
Had a new kitchen fitted in June 2022 with all Bosch appliances including the now broken microwave / grill
Microwave started making a funny noise the other day and is now not working correctly , running very slow and making an abnormal sound
Contacted Bosch to see if they could support as the microwave has hardly been used and although has been in place for just under 4 years , i don't feel that for the cost and apparently good name of Bosch then this was acceptable in relation to the longevity of a 4 year old microwave with very minimal use. Asked to speak to a manager , was refused for this and then told that it was a 2 year warranty and that anything over that would not be considered , didn't want to listen, agent laughing in background with colleague whilst on phone to myself , Nicole !!!
Then attempted to sell me an insurance policy for £20.40 a month for 12 months which would cover a repair now and any additional repairs over the next 12 months, so basically over £240 or i could pay the £109 call out fee and pay for any parts, she stated that Bosch do NOT offer any means of any goodwill reductions . Well!!! my old microwave lasted 12 years and was a very cheap and budget friendly one from a local supermarket , that cost £70 compared to this hunk of junk which was £450 from Bosch , stuck for words !!! bin it is then !!! i will never buy from Bosch again , poor customer service and shoddy appliances
Edit : Bosch you are asking for additional info about my appliance but then when I submit the information there is nowhere for this info just a reference number , please send me the request for more info again please

The Engineer (Lee - attended Saturday 9/5/26) identified the fault with the oven (sadly out of warranty, but not the engineers fault). The engineer had the parts needed in his van so all was replaced and fixed in the one call out.
The availability of the engineers was excellent and the updates on times of arrival were good.
The price for the parts and call out were very good and exceeded my expectations!
Thank you

1) Having bought a Bisch Fridge Freezer in 1991, and it performed well until 2017, I obviously bought another in 2017. The compressor failed in 2026. Only 9 years compared with 26 years. Built-in obsolescence? Obvious decline in quality.Engineer said economically not worth repairing, so scrapped it. I bought a Liebherr this year, 10 year guarantee. Engineer said just buy one with the longest guarantee.
Bosch had a long-standing reputation of quality, but they now seem to be in a race to the bottom

Recently bought a lawn mower from B and Q - apparently there is a 3 year warranty if I register the purchase - but I am unable to register as nothing on the packaging or the lawnmower has a serial/model number that the Bosch website accepts. And lawnmowers are not listed in any of the help pages to find the model number. I was debating whether to buy a Bosch again - should have gone with another manufacturer. Bosch is not what is was. The mower is OK, but the angle of the handle is too shallow for me and the grassbox fits very poorly - not as good as the Bosch mower it has replaced.
I am very disappointed with the service I have received from Bosch regarding my washer dryer.
The appliance cost around £850 and is only approximately 14 months old, yet it has not been working properly for around 4 weeks. This has caused serious inconvenience, especially for a household that relies on a working washing machine.
The engineer attended, but in my view no proper diagnosis was carried out. The appliance was not properly tested through full programmes, the control panel was not properly checked, and the engineer appeared to attend without the correct tools or clear understanding of the fault. The visit did not give me confidence that the actual problem had been identified.
On Saturday I was told that an exchange would be arranged. Then by Wednesday, Bosch appeared to change its mind and instead wanted to send the same engineer back again to try another repair. I do not understand why the position changed, especially after such a long delay and after an engineer had already failed to properly diagnose or fix the appliance.
This is even more concerning because I also had a previous Bosch dishwasher which broke down after only around 4 months. I chose Bosch expecting quality and reliability, but my experience has been very disappointing.
I do not have confidence in sending the same engineer again when he did not appear to know clearly what was wrong with the appliance. After around 4 weeks without the washer dryer working properly, I believe Bosch should resolve this properly and fairly, either by arranging an exchange or by giving clear written confirmation of what will happen if the repair fails.
For an £850 appliance that is only 14 months old, this level of service and delay is not acceptable. I just ad in 12/05/2026 Finally ordered new one and thank you Gary P to help. We stay with brand Bosch and I hope I dos 8 is keep longer.

I have a dishwasher that’s under 2 years old and the front is going rusty!! They won’t even accept that it’s a faulty finish or cover or paint even though it’s a £500 plus item. No refund no replacement door no help. I’ll never buy Bosch again.

I bought a new garden shredder model AXT Rapid 2200 from Band Q Dover.
Absolute rubbish.
Made in Eastern Europe I can see quality is terrible now. 225 pounds.
The first thing I noticed that the motor protection filter hadn't been fitted properly. It covered only about 80 % of the motor so completely useless and cannot be corrected without completely dismantling the unit.
Worse than that it just didn't work. Completely dead.
So back to the shop 2 hours after buying it I got a refund.
So I bought a cheap Chinese b and q macullogh brand unit for 99 pounds.
Well made it worked really well and had a filter correctly fitted.
The Bosch name means nothing now. As usual export jobs to cut labour costs and appalling quality is the result.
Bought 2 security cameras, absolutely rubbish, don't connect and glitchy software, complet waste of money.
