Nothing about Boscovs.com is worth the…

Nothing about Boscovs.com is worth the time!!! Website never, ever, ever works, going on 3 years now. Guest Services support? kept me on phone for 30 min for an $8 credit then disconnected before final. Spent another 15 min with next rep. There candles are horrible, wicks not centered, sparse scent & arrived with glass broken & instead of a full refund, they wanted to give me a 10% refund, which didn’t even cover the cost of the candle. After being on the phone with them for 45 min, I got all my credits.

Found everything I was looking for and…

Found everything I was looking for and always do. The sales associates were very helpful in jewelry, women's clothing, shoes and men's clothing. You need to go If you haven't been to Boscovs in awhile. The floorplan is opened up for all the girls , misses and women's clothing. Great selections.

Summer dresses

I was looking for several summer dresses. The same dresses were being sold at Macys for 10 to 20 percent higher. Not all but a few style that I found at Boscovs for less prices.

purchased many pairs of shoes this 3rd…

purchased many pairs of shoes this 3rd time I have called for my credits I have been on the phones each time for 1 hour. it is ridiculous. that one should have to be on the phone for so many hours for a credit. I will never shop there again.

I went to pay at the register that is by the door where the furniture department is on Sunday afternoon,July 20, 2025. The man at the desk was on his cell phone. I said hello he said nothing. He did not look at me the whole time his face had an angry expression as though he was not happy to be there. I waited for him to finish my transaction as I didn’t want him to mess up anything on my account. When I got my receipt, I said to him you know when someone says hello to you you should say hello back. He said in an angry tone: I didn’t hear you! I said oh so you don’t say hello unless the customer says hello to you and if you hear them? He said nothing. He still had that angry face that he had from the beginning. Whether I said hello or not, he should have acknowledged me as a customer and say hello or at least smile that’s all that’s required of him to make the customer feel good and appreciate it. It is rude, not to acknowledge people that are interacting with you in any kind of setting. Being polite is part of customer service.

The worst and disrespectful company I…

The worst and disrespectful company I ever delt with. I order a pair of sneakers that are way to big. I want to send it back and there no instruction how i have to send it back... I wrote to them I need a return label. And they said we will send you one this time. They want me to pay for the label to returned the shoes back. I WILL NEVER EVER DO Business WITH THIS COMPANY!!! THIS COMPANY IS SHADY AS HELL! I NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! I never heard of a company that going have there customers pay for there return.

Carpets are filthy and antiquated

This company makes plenty of money. I don't understand why they dont change the carpets in the store. The carpets are filthy and looks like they have been in the store since the building was built. Some people have allergies. Please give a better customer experience and consider taking up those carpets if you are not going to take care of them.

After Order Shipping Charges.
I made an order for the $99 required for free shipping. I was then contacted saying I would actually be paying an extra $19 to ship my order, because I "ordered to many different products". Absolutely ridiculous.

Yet another one star review for this…

Yet another one star review for this useless company. I got suckered in to applying for their credit card, which is administered through Community/Bread financial... I was approved. The bill showed up first with an incomplete account number and the credit card arrived two days after the payment was due. I needed the full credit card number to create an online profile. I paid the bill in full and directly asked the finance CSR if I was going to be penalized for being a few days late because the credit card arrived late. I was assured that this would be taken care of. Guess what? It was not. The finance company is a crook. This is a direct reflection on Boscov's. Really poor service headed up by a bunch of unsavory business people.

Done shopping at Boscov’s and so disappointed with them

I am very disappointed with Boscov’s. On 5/3 I bought 3 items online with an in store pick up. Immediately one item costing 7.99 was canceled. My order had been paid with a gift card. I just happened to keep the gift card, as I often throw them out when I am done with them. I called for the balance, and the 7.99 I paid for the item canceled by Boscov’s had not been refunded. This is now 12 days after the cancellation. I called customer service and the woman that helped me reached out to her manager to express my anger when I was told more or less that they made a mistake and forgot to “manually refund” me. I questioned how many other people this happens to without them realizing, as I could have easily not realized. How many people does Boscov’s cheat this way??? The customer service rep spoke to her manager, while I waited on hold twice, wasting my time, and she came back and said “as a courtesy the manager is refunding your money now, you don’t have to wait 3-5 days” Are you kidding me?!?! That’s a courtesy?!?! I’ve already waited 12 days for money that I would have lost and Boscov’s would have stolen from me if I didn’t reach out!!!!! How about a genuine apology from the manager and a coupon for future use for my troubles and their mistake?!?! I can tell you now, after using up the money on this gift card I am done with Boscov’s, and I recommend others to think twice before shopping there…and if you chose to shop their be aware of their deceitful practices.

Terrible company to deal with

Terrible company to deal with. Ordered online. Product was left by the road. Of course it was stolen. Contacted boscovs only to have them say it was delivered properly and won't return money. Will not be shopping there ever again and recommend everyone do the same

Customer Service gives you NO service

I found Boscov’s on line recently and ordered 4 or 5 times. My last order the 2 items were too large so I asked for a return label. Customer service kept sending me preprinted emails. In other words they didn’t bother to read my return label request. After 3-4 stupid preprinted emails I gave up and returned them without their label. It cost me $16.65!!!!!!! Outrageous!!
My ordering from Boscov just ended!! Bye

The people working in the Frederick…

UPDATE The president of Buscovs was able to finally get this resolved. I hope that Comenity won't mess it up again (6x).
The people working in the Frederick store are great. The problem is Comenity bank. I purchased a bed that was supposed to interest free for 3 yrs. Immediately Comenity started charging me interest. 12 contacts later, the lady at Comenity said just because it was Buscovs rule (3 yrs free), it doesn't mean it is our rule. Comenity has a well deserved 1 *. Sadly I contacted the president of Buscovs and he couldn't be bothered to return any of several calls. I guess if it is a family business, they don't need to care. Or Comenity pays him so much on the side, why care. Don't finance w Comenity!

I shopped in the store on Thursday

I shopped in the store on Thursday, 2/27/2025 about 6 p.m. I put a coat & a jacket on hold. On 2/28, I called & asked who can I talk to about a hold. The man answering in customer service said I called at a bad time; I asked which départment do I need for a hold. Hé said I'm just answering the phone & standing here.The actual representive was in thé bathroom. So I asked for women's. Hé said hé didn't know. Filling in, hé said. I called women's directly. Rep said she would have to leave women's & go to coats; said hold & she continued to wait on customers. After a few minutes, I hung up. Today, March 1, at 8:49 p.m. I called customer service & said I need to talk to someone about thé hold. The rep. said, "Mam, we're closing: call tomorrow." I said I simply want to know who takes care of holds. Hé said "Goodnight, Mam." and hung up.
I almost always get curt answers from customer service; isn't that where a customer goes with a question? I'm 82 & shopping in store is difficult; I dont need to to shuttled here & there without at least trying to get thé right départment.
It's a shame Boscov's is too busy to help when its needed!! If I were asked to review the store; I would not bé able to recommend Boscov's to a friend. Bad attitude shown by many of your employées in Erie, especially in customer service.

My wife was trying on bathing suits…

My wife was trying on bathing suits tonight and when she walked out of the fitting room to show me one that she was wearing and also to grab another suit, an employee walked in her dressing room that had her clothes in it and quickly grabbed all the bathing suits off of the floor left with them. When my wife returned, she noticed the missing suits but also noticed her missing necklace. She had put her necklace in the heel of her shoe to try on the bathing suits, which was nowhere near the bathing suits that were on the floor. The thief, I can't say her name but she's a dark hair hag wearing glasses that works in tbe bathing suit department, thought she would be able to get away with stealing her necklace because my wife was distracted. But my wife by luck, noticed right away that it was missing and came running out screaming that someone took her necklace and bathing suits. A kind man standing outside of the dressing room said he saw an employee come out of the dressing room with bathing suits and showed my wife the direction she went. My wife ran to find her. She found her at one of the registers holding the bathing suits and my wife confronted her asking her why did she enter a clearly occupied dressing room and take the swimsuits and her necklace. The hag employee said she didn't take her necklace and that she took the bathing suits out of my wife's dressing room because they were on the ground and not on hangers. When my wife grabbed back the suits the necklace fell out of the employees hand. 🤔 The necklace magically fell out of her hand just before saying she knew nothing of the necklace. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened at a Boscov's store. Boscov as a store is just fine but unfortunately they have a thief that works for them and I hope management will investigate and be rid of this cancer in their store. Just to be clear the necklace that was in the shoe was not near the bathing suits. Her jeans and shoes were in the corner of the dressing room up at the mirror and the bathing suits were on the ground closer to the dressing rooms door. The hag employee pulled the necklace from the shoe and hid it by holding the bathing suits as a distraction. My wife even had her jacket and pocketbook hanging up. Why would an employee go into a room and take stuff seeing shoes, a jacket, jeans and a pocketbook? She took the bathingsuits to hide stealing the necklace. So sad! We're still shook up from tonight's experience.

So impressed!!

As a first-time shopper at Boscov's online, I didn't know what to expect. The dish set I was looking at was more pricey on other stores' websites, so I took a chance on this family-owned business rather than paying more to a corporation. I was super impressed when my order showed up two days later, complete & carefully packaged! I will definitely consider ordering through them next time I need anything like this

AWFUL!!!!

AWFUL!!!!! The Moorestown Store has a woman named Z working at the Clinique counter, she is rude and incompetent. I try avoiding her and having others wait on me but TODAY the Dept manager named Pat Mann CONFRONTED Me and told me I don't have the right to NOT have to deal with her! Z waved her fingers in my face saying "You don't have the right to have who you want wait on you!" and "Go somewhere else! The so called store manager Roy was completely worthless and impotent. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE they are RUDE and DISGUSTING
