Boscov Responded With Credit

The handbag I ordered was on sale for $59.40. When I received my order today my invoice shows I was charged full price of $99.00. I called the customer service phone number listed on my invoice and was told they did not recognize the store Boscov's and hung up on me. I sent an email to boscovs and have not received a response. I did finally receive a response and was given a credit!

Great Customer service skills exhibited by Caroline and Dorethea in the Granite Run PA store

Caroline and Dorethea in the bath/domestics department at the Granite Run, PA store went above and beyond assisting, me the customer. I was in the store to purchase additional sets of curtains. There was no one to assist me in curtain department to procure additional product, not available in the Granite Run Store. Caroline called many other Boscov locations for Ship to Home the additional product. Some locations didn't answer in the curtain department, 1 looked and said they didn't have the particular curtain, 1 location said they were short staffed and apologized for not being able to assist. Caroline was pleasant, knowledgeable, and continued calling stores for the particular product, never giving up. It was wonderful to have such great customer service from Boscovs.

I am a Boscov's credit card holder.

Today, I was at the Exton store to take advantage of one of your coupons.

The clerk who checked me out was quite rude. I first asked her to give me the price on a item that only had a hand written tag. She punched in the number and stuff it in a bag. I said: Wait. I asked for a price on that item. She barked the price. After scanning items, she said: Swipe your card. Then handed me the receipt, without saying a word. She handed me the bag and I said: You are welcome.

I decided to file a complaint about this employee for two reasons. First, my granddaughter was with me and she witnessed the event. I'm showing her that you don't have to accept people's disrespect, especially when you are sending YOUR money.

Second, I have shopped at Boscov's for years and have never experienced or witnessed such ride behavior from an employer. This behavior certainly doesn't represent the brand that you present to the public.

Now, I have to decide whether I will return the items and perhaps cancel my credit card because of this event.

There are a million places to purchase items that Boscov's offer.

I ordered a Recliner from Boscov's March 5. It was delivered on March 15th as scheduled. The delivery guys Were very nice. They even took out my old one. thank you very much

Unfair policies

I was charged $9.00 for paying my bill one day before it was due over the phone. They charge for paying over the phone. I was way for a family emergency for a month but it was still on time. I then got a bill for 19.00 including a late fee - I called - they took off the late fee but not the 9.00. I was not told i would get another bill for the 9.00. I assumed it was added to the previous charge. They refused to drop that charge. I mailed a check about a week prior to the due date and they said they got it late and charged me another 19.00! They dont stop harassing you. DO NOT get a charge card from Boscovs. Never again!

I would give this store a zero if I could York pa…

I would give this store a zero if the choice were here. I am dissabled loaded up my car with my electric scooter to run into Boscov,s just for a wedge pillow for medical problems. I found an employee who took me to the wedge the last one Ya but no they wouldn't sell it to us because the tag was missing. Did you ever hear of such BS in your life the worthless manager was to lazy to do anything it took him forever to get up to the department for a price check what a joke. This guy Tim has no backbone and only had smart ass comments when we told him we needed it and it was on the internet he says buy it off the internet.Your not a manager you are a whantawbee manager TIM.Also the lady in the Curtian dept acted stupid also and started talking smart if she is so smart why can't you figure out how to look up a simple item to sell smart---.We bought it off Amazon so you not only lost this sale I will never buy anything from Boscov;s including from the internet. I don't need smart--- whantawbee manger with his attitude this store will be out of business soon if this is the managements attitude.Very unprofessional.

Hidden Fees?

Just got a call from Boscov's that they would like to charge me an additional $$$ amount for shipping because I ordered multiple items.

Beware, avoid at all cost. If they can't figure out their free shipping system think about all the other issues you'll experience.

Money Taken Before Order Was Actually Submitted.

Was contemplating an online order...went to Review Order Page but found a better price on a different website but was somehow still charged by Boscov's despite not actually submitting the order. Called customer service and they basically said that this is normal practices and I should expect my money back in 3-5 days. WTH? No other company in this country actually takes your money BEFORE submitting an order. Now, I'm forced to use MORE money to buy what I wanted from the other website. This is the shadiest experience I've had with an online retailer. I will NEVER attempt to order anything from this place....EVER AGAIN. It's now evident why their customer experience ratings are so low.

I always shop clinique counter.

I always shop clinique counter.
I specifically ask for a product that I use. I was handed off to another employee who sold me the wrong product. When I went in a month or so ago they didn't have any of the products that I use so thet I could receive free gift. ( I was willing to even change my request, but was told "we don't have that or that",, I walked away with no purchase.
Today I specifically ask for 2 products
They sent me home with wrong product.
I miss Carol..
Now i again have to return a product thdt i did not ask for..& i didnt have the money for. The problem is in the Clinique & other cosmetic counters.
Please train these woman or hire people who actually live the products & who care about customer service.

Boscov's - Buyer Beware - The price tag on items is the price the merchandise comes in on and not Boxcov's pricing. I bought a mens Chamjpion t-shirt with a price tag with $25.00. There was a sign 40% off. When I got to my car I realized I was overcharged. I returned to the store and the clerk said the price tag was incorrect and that was not their price tag just the price tag the merchandise came in on. The t-shirt was $30. She said I could return it or keep it at the incorrect price. As I stood with my mouth open the nice lady behind me loudly said that is not right. I need to demand the price as marked. The clerk finally re-rang it when I refused to leave with the incorrect price. All the time acting like I was more trouble than I am worth. Afterward I thanked both cashiers and apologized for what I am not sure and got not one word from them. I was never treated so rudely in my life.

Terrible Customer Service and Mismanagement

On Oct. 9 I placed an order and and promptly received it. On Nov 3 I see a charge on my credit card for an amount I don't recognize. So basically they mishandled their end forget to bill me in October and then bill me in November at a higher price, not honoring the promotional code. So I did not recognize this amount and assumed the prior month purchase had gone through. I tried reaching out to customer service and they tell me that sometimes customers have gotten billed for thing they simply place in their carts when they are browsing on their website. What? They never explain to me the original charge did not go through and that they had rebilled it. So I called my credit card they reversed it, assumed it was fraud, issue a new card and now Boscov's produces an invoice to them for the higher amount and there is the charge again. I am absolutely responsible for paying my items but not at a price that is not in my original Order Confirmation. I try calling them, 55 minute wait time calls, nothing, tried sending an email, no response. So all I can do is call my credit card and dispute the difference of the overcharge, provide documentation and put everything in writing and mail it to them. Such disorganization and mis management in this company. I liked their promotions and I can say I enjoyed things I purchased there but it is not worth all this hassle. I will never buy at Boscov's again nor recommend it to anyone.

Bad Service

I find it laughable and very redundant to try and pay a flipping bill there you have to jump through hoops. I went there to pay my relatives bill. I had her bill with the information was told i needed her social security information. As soon as I came back with that information i was told they needed her day of birth so why didn't they tell me that when I had to venture to get them the other information. Both of the employees were rude and should be taught about customer service. This is why I rarely every shop at Boscovs they're happy when you use your card but they make you jump through hoops just to get it paid.

Not able to place an on-line order

Every time I try to place an order online, I am unable to get to the checkout page. So I have to call to order by phone. However, then I don't get to use my cash back discount.
Otherwise, no problems with any of my orders. I will continue to shop here.

Was very upset with coming all the way…

Was very upset with coming all the way here to find out the whole mall is closed besides boscovs please correct your hours on the internet cause I wanted to go to bath and body works and it was only 8pm the mall was always open till 9pm and later through Christmas

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever! Warning, if you purchase online and use a Visa or Mastercard, they will bill you twice. As far as their "chat" option, do not waste your time! You will be waiting for days. As far as calling customer service, don't waste your time, they will transfer you to multiple departments, then tell you "it will fall off your account". Emails go unanswered. Used to be my favorite store, I will never shop there again. Completely disgusted with them.

Paypal

Boscov's (website) disabled the payment method, Paypal. I tried different methods and still it would not work. The link on checkout states, "What is Paypal?" works but Paypal, it's self would not work. I even logged in to my Paypal account separately to make sure it was not Paypal.

Frustrated credit card holder

I have been a boscovs credit card holder for over 20 years never had a problem. However BEWARE!!!!! I ordered ONLINE ! some garden flags and poles that were one price after I received my statement I was charged a significantly higher price than what's was online. I even reported it as fraudulent charge because I didn't recognize the charge being it was so high after I wrote a letter I realized I was charged twice so even more of a mess. I will be very very reluctant to shop there. The phone wait and trying to explain and the stress I think that Boscovs is going down hill
