Planned obsolensce from Bose? Really?

Bought a the Bose SoundLink II in 2013. It worked quite well for many years but suddenly stopped charging mid-2014. No problem, I figured, I'll just pay for it to be fixed.
To my surprise, I was told that it was no longer fixable and it had stopped being made in 2015 (only 3 years of production before it was discontinued).
While I would have absolutely expected this from other brands, it came as a shock to hear this from Bose, a brand I had chosen for its presumed quality.
What kind of a world do we live in where we can't keep a piece of electronic equipment for more than a decade. Stop pushing us to over-consume. Make your products repairable, for the long term.
I will no longer buy Bose products and look for brands who make this kind of commitment. I would advise anyone looking to hold on to their tech for a bit to to the same.

Never again

Hello,
I ordered a refurbished speaker on November 18th. After reception it was defective (foam that comes off at the base and therefore prevents the connection of the load). For a reconditioned product I found it average since it is a visual aspect and the technician should have seen it.
So I returned the product. Since then I've been fighting with UPS who lost my product and just found it and I'm only going to receive it on January 13th (it was a Christmas present 😕).
I wrote to ask for compensation on WhatsApp and (sent 2 emails to which no one has ever denied answering).
I find the lack of empathy and service to customers deplorable, especially for a company with such notoriety. What a lack of professionalism.
I am really disappointed with the service and they just lost a customer.
