The plow function is great, very happy with that. Unfortunately I had several issues with the plow and it took 3 attempts to get it fixed. With what I spent on the plow, quality control was very disappointing. I’m hoping it was just a fluke but I’m concerned it’s going to be problematic in the future. Fittings had to be replaced and eventually the hydro pump.

Great 😌 low for my Kubota utv
Loved it great job
have mmine installed on a JD XUV 845/M/R Gator,I use it to low an 1/8 mile ddriveway, use to do it with a Porlaris 500 wuqd with a blade on front, very cold in winter. with this Bodd vblade i can sit in the cab and change direction of blade when I want. love th easy hookup and the way it moves snow
Great response and movements are quick and controlled. I would recommend to others.
First v plow i ownd and it met and bypassed all my expectations
Perfect plow for my RTV.
I love my Boss V-plow on my Honda Pioneer 1000 SxS! It moves as much now as my heavy duty 2500 truck did. I wish Boss made a hand muff for my controls hand as I don’t have heat yet and a thick glove is not possible with pistol grip controls.
My only idea would be to find a way to make the blade a little less agressive for residential applications. It digs and cuts really easy on non-concrete surfaces it has a very sharp cutting angle. And yes I am using the shoe kit with mine. Maybe a blade option where the steel rolls under flat made out of something solid like carbide? Basically like a shoe all the way across the bottom of the blade. Or maybe explore a rubberised blade with carbide inserts? 15 year DOT plow operator here we have utilized some of these ideas and they also extend the life of the blades. Just something to make it not so aggresive. Of course I didnt get to use mine much so it is not "worn in" yet either. Otherwise absolutly a stellar product, great customer service, great dealership. It is a snow pushing machiene that is overbuilt and solid with all kinds of awesome features that I like. Best on the market, truly deserves the name BOSS!
It’s a great plow and am very happy with it
Solid plow. Took a beating. Some hits as it caught covers and divots in the parking lot felt like they should have done some damage. Not to this thing. It just kept going. Usually I worry what my guys might do to a piece of equipment but even they couldn't find a way to break it. Nothing cheap about it. Everything you want from a tool you count on working when you need it.
The plow is easy to operate with its hand controller. This winter season has brought on 20 snow events in NH. The plow has worked seamlessly. I would highly recommend the V plow model.
The plow was game changing for me upgrading form a winch based plow. Well worth the investment! My only complaint is that the controls are difficult to operate while wearing gloves. I'd like to see bigger buttons with more gap between.
Great product all around. Easy to use. Easy to take on and off
I love the plow, except it needs trip springs. It trips way too easily
Where does spring start at to retract? That’s the only problem I have and gutter problems where there’s the shoe you need one in the middle you need three or four shoes.
I think the UT 6 foot 6D plow is incredible. I recommend it to a lot of people so five stars on that the value part is just it’s it’s pricey not everybody can afford it, but it is an awesome piece of equipment. It’s actually my second plow that I’ve purchased sold the other one with the machines so I bought a whole new machine and plow, and I’m very pleased with it. Also, the installation that was done by Bayview truck garage in Escanaba actually may be Gladstone Michigan. They were amazing to work with.
I you considering moving snow with your UTV this is truly the way to go. The winch managed plows are too light duty, cumbersome and extremely slow. I love my BOSS V-Plow and my ranger handles it with ease.
This plow did an excellent job for me (a residential owner with a large asphalt driveway and parking area to clear. Pushed through even our heavy snowfall with no trouble. I would have given it a 5, but I ran into one engineering issue. If you lift the blade without checking to be sure it doesn’t have packed snow adhering to it, the extra weight will cause the blade to tilt forward before it lifts, and then the bracket for the bumper will contact the lower hydraulic fitting on the main cylinder and shear it clean off. When this happened the first time I thought it was a faulty fitting, but after the second time I ran it from off of the plow and could see what was happening. Tightening the spring tension helped some, but in the end, I just have to be careful that the blade is clear before lifting. Less than ideal when you are trying to clear a large area in a limited time.
Great snow plow
