When I upgraded My F-250 in 2024 I went with a 9'2" and never regret it ! this is my 3rd ' V ' since the mid 80's and living in Minnesota's Historic North Shore on a private road My Boss earns it's keep. the narrow roads I'm able to not only move but stack quite an amount of snow, some have thought I have a skid steer. This set up has been flawless, the hardest thing I had to deal with was the position and mount location of the remote once I achieved this I can plow for hours and still walk.

I absolutely love my boss plow my only question is if there is a way to get scratches out of the Stainless steel?

Would be better if the plow lifted higher up when not plowing like Fisher plows do. New plow cutting edge doesn’t scrape level pavement completely clean. Even after removing plow shoes.

Within 1.5 months my brand new Boss plow snapped in half and I drove over it pinning it under my truck. Complete failure of the A frame. The metal inside was rusted under the paint. Where the steel sheared it looks more like an alloy than solid steel. I think the quality of steel is poor. I’d start by sourcing better quality steel, but I’m no expert in that at all. Warranty was good for the repairs. I came from 20+ years of using Douglas Dynamics plows. If I could suggest a change to the controller, make 1 button to scoop a V blade, and 1 button to collapse it. Having to push 2 separate buttons for this function that we do hundreds of times a shift is annoying. I hope my feedback helps.

The only issue I have is with the big electrical connection , bent the prongs a few times trying to fasten them to the plow , doesn’t seem like it was fully connected

Worked good till few weeks ago.tower wouldn't go up to hook on. Selanoid would just click.tapped on it ,rehooked cables few times then it worked. Then few days later controller was dead. Didn't light up. Moved wires around for 30 minutes then started working. Bad bend in harness points 13 pin plug. Maybe a wire broke in there ? Would really lie to convert over to new style plug in but that probably isn't possible.

The plow itself is a very good product, and I am very happy with it. The one problem I had is when My boss certified dealer installed it on my 2026 Silverado. There was a glitch in the wiring that they said there was an update for that they did not know about. That glitch caused all my headlights to shut off while traveling at Hwy speeds in the middle of the night, Luckly it did not cause an accident! A quick phone call and a trip to the dealer and it was all taken care of, I have had no issues the rest of the season!

I love my plow. I can plow more snow in less time with my boss plow.
