Day 1 I replaced the key way set screw for the chute. It was too long and causing issues. Set me back a few hours for a simple screw that someone in the assembly line couldn't get right. Not just mine either. I saw a video on Facebook and others are saying theirs is the same.
We purchased both the v-blade and blower. Anything over 2” we tended to use the blower attachment. I would compare its duty to that of a tractor blower. We were able to cut back compact windrow banks with ease and keep a similar speed to the vblade when blowing sidewalks. This thing chucks a good 25-30’ and scrapes down to bare asphalt most of the time. PDI again seem to be an issue with the auger set screws and shoot rotation bearings. The auger set screws weren’t tight so it walked to the left enough to graze the ski bolt heads. We relocated the shaft into position and spray painted the end of shaft so staff could recognize any migration in the future. We had 2 of the shoot rotation bearing bolts bend/snap. I would suggest getting a couple for the shelf as it was difficult to fabricate a replacement while ordering new. Boss might want to change these to a hardened bolt/bushing for serviceability. The Velcro strap for hydraulic lines could be a little longer to secure all lines in place. It is only long enough for the blower hydraulic lines to get retained. The shoot/tilt hydraulic lines just hang in limbo. This unit is stout. The hydraulics are very powerful and don’t tented to bog down under heavy load. It would be great if there was a 2 position toggle switch option for the blower rather than 3 position. We find the toggle easy to flip in reverse direction when trying to find middle position. I’d suggest this attachment before a blade if you had to choose either for budget.
