Salesman said the plow was designed to stack snow higher. He was very wrong. I’ve been using boss plows a long time. The TEV is weak on the raise action. When you go to raise the plow and push the pile it just dies out. To make matters worse the handheld controller is much slower to operate. I was disappointed, I bought 2 of these new plows for the most money I’ve ever spent and not impressed. I can stack higher and plow faster with my DXT and a joy stick. It brings me no joy in talking this way about 2 plows I bought for 24k. It’s like these plows have no muscle. Maybe that’s fixable and hopefully a joy stick controller is available some day.

I'll be going back to a DXT next year. The TEV is too hard on the truck not having the whole plow trip. The new TEV was loose from the first day taking it home that meaning lots of play in the non grease able pins. Just not happy with the quality for the cost of these plows. We have 9 and have been Boss fans for years but the quality is not the best. New controller is difficult to use and too big. Just my opinion after owning these plows for 30+ years. Great plow a lot less moving and wear parts making it all around better. Handles gravel much better
