The presentation was from a very knowledgeable enthusiast, but I didn't get as much out of it as I had hoped. He started with the moon, which was great. I wish he'd then looked at the planets and their position in our sky relative to the moon. But he went off to distant galaxies and I had no feel for wherebouts or how far away. He knows his stuff and had some magnificent photographs, but I was really hoping I'd learn how to spot Mars or Venus or Jupiter. I'll have to use the app!
But many thanks anyway.

Knowing a little about the subject already, I was still caught by the enthusiasm, and knowledge of the speaker, along with excellent diagrams, I would easily view again.

It was very informative, explained in an easy to understand format with beautiful photos to support his vast knowledge of the subject.

Enjoyed listening to the online topic about the night sky. It was just long enough and quite informative.

I really enjoyed the talk on the sky, showing us where the planets and stars were situated and all the different phases of the moon

Viewing the night sky presentation was an excellent investment of my time. It was delivered by Steve, a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic amateur with a BBC voice. His level of knowledge was clearly way beyond the more general nature of his presentation yet it was delivered in simple terms that truly enhanced the limited knowledge that I already had. Well done and thanks.
