Exceptional Service

I have several wireless speakers from B&W, all of which work and sound wonderful. On Monday, one of my A5's stopped powering on. I took some steps to troubleshoot the issue myself, however I came to the conclusion the issue was hardware related and needed to be serviced.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Robert Hernandez who helped me understand what might have caused the issue and what further steps to take to ship the item in. I was simply delighted with the professionalism he provided and the quality of his care.

Thank you.

Very poor quality but hugely expensive headphones

I replaced my 'beats' headphones that were 10 years old with some P5 headphones from this company. I I paid £250 for these headphones. I thought that I had bought headphones for life.
Oh dear no.
They are very poor quality and right from the start they caused problems. The wiring constantly falls to bits and has been replaces twice. Now the quality is poor and one of the earpieces doesn't work properly. Worryingly, there is also a sticky substance leaking out of the pads. I can't use them anymore, as it sticks to my hair!
They are only 2 and a half years old- so that works out at £100 a year.
If I didn't know better, I would have thought they were from a market stall!
I have informed the company again of the problems and will update this review after their response.

Customer Service is a Joke.

For the price I paid for the speakers, I expect to be treated better. I am going to take my experience to social media and make people aware of this scam company. I had a bad experience with a product and tried to get that repaired..its been almost a month since I am trying to reach someone to get that fixed.
I should've gone with Martin Logan or Definitive Tech speakers..my mistake.

Superb after-sales service when compared to other brands

I purchased B&W C5 headphones approximately 18 months ago. Unfortunately, I found that when I was walking with them recently, the sound would cut in and out, as if the wire had frayed inside.

I dug out my old receipt and got in touch with B&W CS. They sent me returns authorisation on the Monday, I posted the headphones back on the Tuesday. I was fully expecting to wait 2-3 weeks, and as I begun to consider what my life would be like without sound on the tube, Thursday arrived. It was on Thursday that I received a notification from B&W CS to say that they could not fix the fault and so were sending me brand new ones. Fantastic, I thought!

To my absolute surprise, the new C5's arrived on Friday. So, we are talking about 4 days turnaround, less than 1 working week. I have never experienced this service with competitor brands. Well done B&W, this is how after-sales should be done!

For example, I won't name the company, but I had something that stopped working after 11 months. I was fobbed off from pillar to post, passed from store to store (the store I had purchased my item from had gone bust), with no one wanting to take ownership. I appreciate the stores are independently owned, but it's not the after sales service you expect from purchasing a £5k+ speaker system. B&W recognise who their customer base is, and work relentlessly to ensure they are ticking the right boxes in terms of customer satisfaction.

Special thanks to Ebony in the CS Team. She responded to all of my emails within a couple of hours maximum, and provided me with thorough explanations about returns processes. She has been a great help in keeping my confidence in B&W high!

Astonishing sound - hard work to set up

I bought the Zeppelin Air for it linking straight in to to my itunes system and control from iphone. The sound it produces is quite simply astonishing. i had been used to 'whole' sound with previous Bose systems and docks, but this is almost unbelievable.

Setting it up on the wireless network is not as simple as it could have been, especially when I then changed my router and had to go through the whole sorry process again. Tip - when its set up sit back and enjoy it, dont change your router!!
