Awful service

Awful service. Late delivery, failure to respond to emails for updates. Item finally arrived 3 weeks after purchase and was damaged, not to mention very poor quality.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Ordered a large wedding box and it arrived damaged. Extremely poor quality. Managed to eventually get through to someone via email and they said they’d send out a replacement and nothing since. I have requested a refund but they are now ignoring all my emails. DO NOT USE, AWFUL COMPANY

Order acknowledgment was quick

Order acknowledgment was quick, delivery was fast and well packaged, but the box itself is poor quality. It is weak, thin card. There is no way that the box is worth the cost.
The outer box it was sent it was more robust.
The personalise message has been printed from a household printer and clued on - badly (it was half hanging off).
The only nice thing about it was the bow.
No email address or phone number on the website to be able to contact anyone, only an address to write to, that’s different to the one in someone else’s comment below.
Over inflated price to capitalise on weddings. That’s nothing new but in this particular case it’s about preserving an expensive item, which I cannot see this box doing.
I was told by my dry cleaner to avoid cheap boxes, so I paid more - only to receive a cheap box anyway.

Did not receive a full refund

I ordered a wedding dress box, and the initial service from BoxFrocks was good - acknowledgement of the order arrived promptly, as did an invoice. The item arrived in a timely manner, and seemed to be of a good quality. So far so good, and if that had been the end of the matter I would have given the company a very good rating.

However, unfortunately the box was too small for my daughter's dress (my fault), so I initiated the returns process. I was anticipating that this would also be problem-free as the website clearly states that if you wish to return the item, for any reason, they would refund the price of the purchase.

However, after chasing the refund - as I did not receive any acknowledgement of the return being received - I was advised by a curt email that they had made the refund. I checked my credit card statement and indeed a refund had been made, but it was not for the full purchase price.

I queried this, and was told - again by a curt (not signed) response - that postage had been deducted.
This is wrong, as my invoice clearly states that postage is £0.00. Furthermore, I had to pay the courier to send the parcel back.

Once again I have queried this, but have not had any response, nor the balance of my refund.

This company has a website that makes promises it does not keep, has incorrect contact details (the phone number is not valid) and an anonymous owner who hides behind a 'suspect' email address.

I would not recommend this company.

My box has arrived and I have no issues with it. I did however send an email but got no response, no phone number to call as it is dead. I feared I had purchased from a rogue company. This is the address for them, Boxfrocksuk Box

I do not like companies that hide from clear sight, the email address 1010.me is an old alias that ICloud used to allow users to create. This is not a registered company on Companies House. Doing business with a company that is not visible anywhere, you should proceed with caution.

I ordered a large wedding dress box, sizing was wrong

I ordered a large wedding dress box. It arrived, however, the depth was only 10cm, instead of the 14cm, stated on the website. I have messaged twice to no avail. No acknowledgement of my emails, let alone a response. I would stay away from this company, clearly only interested in your money and not an honest company at all!

Wedding dress box from Boxfrocks

Ordered a large wedding dress box. Meant to measure 65 x40x15 cm depth. Box arrived quickly and packed in lots of cardboard and fragile tape but when I actually took all the packaging away the box if Sara smaller than stated and will not fit a wedding dress of any type. Actual box received was 64 x 39 x 10 cm depth. Took photos and emailed contact address which doesn’t look like the usual legitimate business email. Emailed them 5 days ago to say box not as stated and wish to return but as faulty they should pay return charges. No response. Tried calling numbers stated on website but one just rings with no reply, and the other is not connecting at all. Lousy customer service. Lousy product. Doubt this is a legitimate business. Will dispute through papal.

I Would Not Use Again

I ordered a Wedding Dress Box from them.

It was dispatched and delivered quickly - but this is the only positive thing I can say about this firm.

The box was delivered damaged, this was clearly visible in the photograph of the delivery that the courier took.

So I e-mailed Box Frocks on a number of occasions and tried phoning them about it to organise a replacement.

My e-mails were never answered and the phone just rung off.

As I had used PayPal I started the dispute process - but again I received no response. I therefore escalated the matter with PayPal who repaid my money.

Clearly, ignoring customers is appalling customer service and I would never buy anything from this firm again.
