On 25th October 2025 bought a ottoman for £73 from there website.
When it arrived it had 2 panels damaged contacted b&q and was told it was sent through b&q marketplace well after nearly month of emails got collected on 11th November 2025 but still no refund or confirmation of any refund
Absolut joke be careful with b&q

B&Q. What can I say. What a bunch to deal with. After choosing a garden furniture set on line and paying in full immediately the promise of a four working day delivery seemed attractive. Ordered on 21st April but.....delivery date became 30th April. Ok, probably busy due to good weather demand. 29th April pm get a text from carriers DX.... goods not arrived yet at depot. Live chat to B&Q customer services. Where is my garden furniture that I have paid for..... Er ! It shows on my screen that the item has been delivered to the carrier.... well they say that you haven't.... Er ! I will escalate this and give you a case number.... Ok on you go then.... Guess what. Still sitting on the grass here on 5th May..... back to customer services.... Situation remains the same each blaming the other but no one actually doing anything to resolve the problem... Right then obviously you are incompetent so I want a full refund of the sum that you have of mine immediately..... Er, Er that will take 3 to 5 working days... BUT I coughed up the amount straight out .... what are you lot getting paid for..... Er I'll escalate this up the chain.......OH BOY let's hope 3 to 5 working days is correct......what do you think?.... back to the grass then. B&Q does that stand for B......t & Querulous.... Bet your boots it does.

Made complaint got ref number about order and delivery as told buy product then u can change delivery date but lied to so made complaint to customer service lied by them very bad company to complain to never get. Manager then I phone to be told there is no complaints made under ref number so cover up and never placed order even through I I have orders numbers printed out what does that say from parkhead Glasgow then they ask for name and number to say never heard of you on system what a joke do not trust delivery just want your money and can never complain as cover it up

Went to bq sidcup today to buy some tile adhesive, didn't need alot so chose a small tub said 2.5kg ready mixed £10 ,what a joke tub wad roughly 6inch estimate high and when opened there was just a third of it filled with adhesive ,talk about mis representation. All these companies continually try to fall you thinking your getting more than what you actually are ,shame on you bq.i felt I was robbed ,I am in the trade so know what you can get .I didn't want a huge tub just don't try to disguise it and make it look more

Went to the main store following the non communication from BQ,They sent another manager to deal with my no show or phone calls that the previous manager promised,Obviously the manager was there or the young lady who was no more than 17 could not pretend she was the manager stood in for him or her,.,We need to go nationwide with this lot and let everyone know that once your money is theirs then it’s nightmares for you,

Very poor delivery service. Order no 1024864729 We were told orginally we would be given a two hour delivery time. That then became the next day any time before midday but they would ring aprox half an hour before delivery. Come 2 pm we could not wait any longer. We were twenty minutes from home when the phone rang. Not to warn us they were half an hour away but that they were in the flats car park. We had left our rented garage open incase so it was left there. This is terrible service. Not what we expect from this company. What the hell is a Bestellnummer.

I was in bq Bangor today and was helped by there manager Mark, I cannot speak highly enough of the great service and help he gave us thank you Mark regards Debbie, Bernie

Tried over numerous weeks to plan and order kitchen on site staff were really good and very helpful but we were all frustrated by bq chaotic supply and delivery systems. Bq have a fast response customer service but staff have no authority or influence to change anything so just a waste of time ..In the end I lost so much confidence in them actually delivering the goods I cancelled my 6k kitchen order...

My husband and I are not usually fans of big warehouse DIY centres, but I’ve got to say that B&Q Crewe has some of the most helpful and knowledgeable staff we’ve ever dealt with.
Special mention to Mike (I think) in the garden centre area for helping us out and educating us on winter planting!!!

B & Q Ashford Kent, Trade point, don’t reply to Emails, when you call them up and get advised to email in with Photographs with the evidence of the dead mouldy turf that we had just purchased and laid , Following up the email we have called back several times and Sent emails too and NOTHING ! We’re two months on and still no reply !!!!

The crewe store in lockdown call at the store today after a Q for around 35 minutes I got in the staff are fantastic and a credit to the company well done Team BQ crewe

Don’t email or phone this company, customer service a joke, placed order for £300. Needed to add to order emailed waited week for reply then told orders under 50 delivery charged I was aware of this I had already paid original order, customer service had not read email just blanket answer, appalling never shop again with this company amazon sell everything they have .

Went to Doncaster store for some compost.
The staff were very helpful.
They took me to the compost, where they were very helpful asked me what the compost was for. Plus told how many bags they thought I would need.

Visited bq kirkcaldy to exchange lawnmower I must say the staff were second to none .Advice given was exceptional.Special thanks to Davy from the garden department who was very knowledgeable and couldn't have been any more helpful .5 STARS.06/2/19.

Great company when you make the trip yourself. Staff are helpful, competent and readily available. Their online ordering and delivering is awful but lets focus on the good.

Wrong door came but they changed the door over quickly and efficiently. Thanks.
