Brandymelville Reviews 

Whilst in London for a show in the summer my daughters were keen to have a look in Brandy Melville Covent Garden. I was surprised by the merchandising, and by how the items were piled so high all around and by how busy the store was. The styles seemed very basic and simple, and the fabric (cotton?) seemed very thin, but it was summer!! My daughters both bought themselves some wide leg joggers, I was so surprised that the joggers only came in a size S!!! However somehow they do look great on both of them - despite one daughter being a size 2-4, and the other a size 8-10. They certainly seem to wash well too! (By that I am referring to no signs of bobbling as yet!). Although my slightly shorter daughter’s are stained by mud around the hem as she will play basketball and football in them (and may not tell me that they are all muddy for a day or two so it is really hard to get the marks out - but that is not what they are designed for) 🙈. I found the team members working in store to be polite and friendly so I give 5 stars. Today I have ordered online for my one daughter who wanted to spend some Christmas money on another pair of joggers in a darker colour and a vest top. Something about the website seemed “off” so I thought I’d look on trust pilot… oh dear what terrible feedback I have found left by others. Well fingers crossed that my daughters online order does not cause us any problems!!! I will be back to write another review and give hopefully another 5 stars soon (or lower if needs be). I’m hoping it is just a case of people not leaving feedback unlesss they had a problem 🤞🤞🤞😊

negative, the crop top I bought could not be converted into a duffel bag to store the severed heads of my greatest foes and the harvested faeces of my pet dog. could not pet that dawg with the purchase. terrible purchase, great regrets.

usually love brandy as the clothes are great quality, i have never had a problem with them before. i ordered the victoria top (£24) and it has a small hole under the armpit. quite disappointed as the quality is normally 10/10, maybe the standards are going downhill

Look, I have never bought from Brandy Melville but i was looking on the website because everyone talks about it. But I have one big issue with it, their “one size fits all” approach is not only unrealistic but also exclusive. Most of their clothes are clearly designed for very specific body types, leaving a lot of people feeling excluded and uncomfortable shopping there. It’s frustrating that a brand in this day and age wouldn’t offer more inclusive sizing options.
Honestly, I will never buy from a brand that includes one body type. Brandy Melville feels more like an Instagram trend than a serious clothing brand.
Not worth the hype at all.

Accidentally ordered with standard shipping instead of express. The customer service was quick and efficient, cancelling my order and returning the funds immediately so I could reorder right away with the correct shipping.

Terrible Customer Service, Buyer beware!!!!!
Ordered something online and accidentally transposed two numbers in the house address. Customer service refused to correct the issue BEFORE the package was prepared and shipped, then they REFUSED to call FEDEX to have the address corrected. They also REFUSED to cancel order and provide a refund. All of this BEFORE the package even left their facility.

Bottom Line - they don't care about you, they only want your money! Beware

I have ordered from brandy melville before and the sizing of the things have always been weird, but social media convince you brandy melville are cute so I buy again, a pair of low rise jeans, which end up coming up above my belly and are saggy on the bottom and are so unflattering. Their return policy is so stupid and so now I am making a loss on buying from them, so for me I am deleting my account and never buying from them again, and can we just be for real, their stuff is so basic you could get it so much cheaper from other places.

I can't even express how disappointed I am with Brandy Melville in Stockholm. The employees in the store were incredibly rude and condescending. Instead of taking care of the customers, they ignored you or gave you annoyed looks. It seemed like they didn't care if you were even there.

But that's not all: the selection of clothes is ridiculously limited because all the clothes look the same and the quality of the products leaves a lot to be desired. It's incomprehensible why the prices are so high when you only get cheaply made clothes. Also, the one size fits all in the store is a bad joke - they don't even try to accommodate different body shapes and sizes. This is just discriminatory and shows that the company doesn't care how the customers feel.

All in all, an absolutely disastrous experience. I will definitely not go to this store again and can only advise everyone to save their money and their nerves. There are many better alternatives!

Rude staff - none existent customer service and this has been in 3 different countries - so seems to be their model. The quality is inconsistent also - some appear quite good quality and others tear immediately. The girl in the shop in Madrids breath stank on one of my visits - difficult trying to be a trendy brand and trying to put an image across with that type of smell.

I only hope you read this before you purchase. There is something desperately mean about a brand targetting young people and then doing anything to avoid refunding returns. Toiletry bag - non refundable, pair of cargo pants that were far too big - Brandy Melville refused to refund as there is an 'apparent stain' on them. So there is a very (and I do mean very) slight grey-yellow discolouration along the crease fold where clearly the trousers have been sat on a warehouse/shop shelf for a long time before they ever reached us and is not the sort of stain that a customer could put on if they tried - unless they left the trousers on a dusty shelf for a long time. So Brandy Melville have blamed this on us and are refusing to refund. So £49 + pp wasted. I would sooner have given the money to a charitable cause. Maybe Brandy Melville would consider doing on my behalf? It is an appalling way to treat people, and there is something particularly nasty from a brand targetting young people who are starting out on life trying to do a lot of good in the world. A very hard lesson to have to learn. There are mean people out there, and do your due diligence before buying on line.

I am DISGUSTED by your customer service team who treated my mum so badly that she was left shaken. My mum went into the store to return a dress and she explained that it was a few days over the 14 day policy but she was ill and bedridden for a week or so which is why the return was accidentally late. When she tried to explain how she had been ill, your disgusting staff in the Covent Garden store LAUGHED at her and were mocking her amongst themselves. In what world is it appropriate to laugh at an older lady when she says she was ill? They showed zero respect or human decency and they left my mum feeling really vulnerable and embarrassed. I am fuming that my mum was treated so badly by young disrespectful girls and I want everyone to know to avoid your terrible company. BrandyMelville needs to hire better people. I will NEVER buy anything from your company ever again.

Manager was lovely but employees are incredibly rude and hostile. Horrible customer service from them.

So I called some brandymevilles (I don’t know if I’m spelling it right) and I called some store (same brand different stores) and each time I called they where being so disrespectful and disgusting.

Really unhappy with my customer service here. I walked into the store and as soon as I entered the store I received vile looks from the employees.

I am not short of a size 14 and i knew this could be a potential issue when entering the store. I heard one of the employees speak to me in a horrible manor and what came out of her mouth was, "fat ugly pig".

Unhappy.

This is the worst customer service experience ever!! Never gonna buy again! I bought a backpack, and it aid it's made of 100% cotton. When it arrived it turned out that it's made of the cheapest kind of polyester. So a I told them I wanna return it and I said I don't wanna pay the return costs. So they said we could arrange a pick up. Since then I have been in tocuh with them for half a year trying to arrange the pick up. Each time I send them an email about it, they ask when I have time and I tell them and they never reply back. And now I contacted them for what feels like the 100th time, and they tell me that I can only return things withing 30 days. Such asswholes! Never buying again from them!

I have had no problem with the clothes I've bought from brandy. It is good quality and hasn't faded my reason for 3 stars is due to the shop being very crowded and not much space to move in due to all the displays -maybe due to Covent Gardens' busyness- the lack of inclusive sizing and the staff. Though not bad the staff came across as not wanting to be there during the checkout. The sizing on the website is strange as I am a size small and stuff is too big though advertised as xs/s.

Very good clothes where lovely would say quiet expensive though great quality
