I was found to work on Upwork as an illustrator. they sent me to an external site, it was telegram, and send me all the company info and later the contracts via email, after that, they sent me on cryptocurrency the 50% of the payment on the website braxbit.com.
I registered on the site, and passed the verification. After they sent supposedly $ 2,000 for the work and lost all contact with them.
the site is fake and they asked to verify an external account in order to withdraw the money, first depositing the equivalent of $230 in bitcoins into my account at braxbit.com. but I found out other people have been scammed the same way so i didn't went through with the verification deposit luckily, but I am afraid that my personal data have been stolen.

Scam I searched it all out, there are no informations and any verification regarding on the site, I was offered 4000 USD and 50% pre payment but after a couple of days the employer didn't reply to my messages. It's sad because I just tried to put a deposit and lost money, hoping you would not get scammed.

But, I get it. that the site is a fake and they asked to verify an external account in order to withdraw the money, first depositing the equivalent of $230 in bitcoins into my account at braxbit.com.
I am afraid that my personal data, namely, the number of the identity document and the signature have been stolen.
A person named Mikhel Davaravaos sent an invitation to me and 60 other people to upwork and I'm afraid that they are all at risk of fraud. I want to say that this is a very well thought out plan, as they use real companies as fronts, but I contacted their founders, they do not know anything about it.
