Bought a Brevile Edge low steam kettle 7.7.24. It has blown my electrics 3 times this morning. It wasn't a cheap kettle and when I looked on Amazon to see if it was still in warranty, it said it fini... See more

Bought from asda
Bought Breville microwave from asda. Looked nice.
Barely use it, but every time I do water pours out of it like the vents don't work. I went to use recently and saw pinhole rust spots on bottom. Which a few weeks later the whole bottom rusted out. I literally use it once in a blue moon. Feel really let down. Will never buy this brand again or and asda products. Tried to let asda know but won't let me review online.

Bought a Breville 4 slot toaster within the last 6 months and today one side is tripping the 30mA RCD on my consumer unit.
Disgraceful quality from a made in Chins product so beware and don’t waste your money on Breville.
Is it good to select appliances on colour?
I am replacing a grey Breville electric kettle model VKT227. The kettle is leaking out of the bottom, I would guess a seal issue. Unfortunately we have a grey kitchen and so the key decision was not the quality and reliability of the replacement, but the colour and matching it to the toaster. So unfortunately the replacement is another Breville VKT227. I notice Argos require £11 to extend the warranty to 3 years so obviously their confidence in the product is fairly low. The kettle itself is nothing exciting it heats the water and is grey, I suppose its styling could be compared to a gherkin. My only hope going forward is that Breville discontinue manufacturing this kettle and when this one fails we will replace kettle and toaster with a more reliable brand. The biggest benefit of this kettle is it keeps the wife happy......priceless.
Poor customer service about a 3 year old microwave
I bought a Breville microwave, less than 3 years ago and it suddenly blew the fuses in the house and stopped working. The Breville form was impossible to complete online as the code was not on my machine. I eventually got the form through and got a very poor response, go back to the retailer. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I bought it from and have no record of a paper or online receipt. My hubby took it apart and we took a risk and replaced the fuse which has worked but inside there is a twisted thick wire that is starting to crack and cleary this is a manufacturing fault as the matching wire on the other side is smooth and straight I expected more from what was a trusted brand until I saw the reviews on here. I will never buy this brand again.
Purchased a Breville coffee machine…and it's broken not even a year old
Purchased a Breville coffee machine from Argos last Xmas, now not even a year old,it's broken. Breville say "is the control panel" and there's nothing they can do, I have been offered % off a new machine, but that's still going to cost over £100 at this time of year, and with 2 kids,I just can't afford it, very disappointed, so my advice is,if you want a machine that will last more than a year, don't but Breville.
Appalling to be ignored!
I’m just appalled at what’s happened with my machine and the level of customer just not received by this company. Iv. Bought several one cup machines iced the years and had no issues. This latest one I noticed was leaking and filling cups inconsistently. The warranty had just reached the 30 days, I tried to take it back to Argos but they said I had to take it up with Breville. I filled out all the online forms not once but twice over a week and half period and heard nothing. I’m disabled and cannot lift a kettle so had to buy another machine whilst I was waiting I had to buy the bigger one 2L as the smaller was not in stock.
I got in touch with their Facebook page as I was still not being acknowledged there I was told to send an email in with all my details so I also did this, 3rd contact with their customer service team and not even an acknowledgement. Iv chased it up constantly with the fb team as I just want a refund now the lady on there has also emailed them but they’ve just not bothered to get in touch.
A chief executive email will have to be sent.
To treat anyone like this but a disabled person who relies on it is just disgusting.
Breville Hot Cup

About 6 months agoi purchased a Breville One Touch Coffee Machine. Amazon and Argos are still selling it. The gasket on the showerhead has worn out and needs replacing. I have been told by Breville they do not do this part As it takes a certain size I am unable to get it from anywhere so Breville have informed me I cannot use the machine anymore. Please people do not buy this model it is the VCF 107 and is now deemed useless after 6 months
My Breville Barister pro coffee machine…
My Breville Barister pro coffee machine has developed a fault and they have no backup repairer in the UK.Other repairers refuse to touch it,as Breville have the monopoly on parts. So after paying £700 two years ago its lying dormant on the kitchen bench.
Sage Customer Service Experience-
Sage Customer Service Experience-
The sage coffee machine I purchased broke within 30 days not reaching required pressure.
No problem, products can be faulty.
John Lewis asked me to speak to sage customer services to troubleshoot. I waited on the line for around 2 hours and they asked that I receive a call back when their representative is free.
2 days later I receive a call and I explained firstly that is was 2 days ago I requested the button for a call back and John Lewis had processed an exchange.
The ladies reply was ok so it's all sorted you have the best Friday- in the most sarcastic tone possible and started giggling.
I hung up.
Judging by the reviews and lack of response, they don't care anyway.
Poor customer service from Breville
I bought a Breville Airfryer VDF127 from a website. After a few months the front panel fell off. Turns out a number of clips were missing and it had been glued back on. Retailer didn't want to know and refuses to engage. Contacted Breville who also did little to help. Told me they didn't have the part in stock or the machine, yet it is still being sold by retailers. The cost of the part can be no more that 50p to £1.
Extremely poor customer service or care for a purchaser of their product.
Disappointed regarding lack of repairability of kettle
A plastic part inside my kettle had started to degrade and was crumbling into the water. It was a stainless steel model, about 5 years old and I wanted to replace the part. Customer service has told me that they no longer produce the parts. They have refused to pass on my comments about the poor environment aspect of this to a relevant department, presuming they have one as repairability does not seem to be a priority for them
Dangerous Plastic Blue Light Kettle
Dangerous Plastic Blue Light Kettle, failed after 2 years.
After 8 months it was discolouring on the outside of the kettle, a kind of off white yellowing of the plastic.
Today, I thought it felt like it was thinning and pressed the side gently to see - the kettle immediately crumbled, leaving a big hole and spewing boiling water all over the floor.
Very dangerous. Won't buy breville again.
Do not buy a coffee machine from here…
Do not buy a coffee machine from here they do not last more than one year. So expensive for them to break so easily!
2nd machine in 1 year they arent going…
2nd machine in 1 year they arent going to replace it! Honestly disgusting company. Not my fault they're coffee machines suck. I will be spreading the word to never buy from this company.
Also i had to phone for the result instead of them bothering to contact me. Worst Customer service. I even got a bit of cheek from the last person i talked to. NEVER AGAIN! Waste of money!
The shocking iron
The iron we purchased (VIN439) kept electrocuting us. Unfortunately, we had not kept the purchase receipt. So, when we called their customer service, they said thethre was nothing they could do apart from giving us a 20% discount on our next purchuse. Obviously, there will be no next purchase of any Breville product on our part after a treatment like that.
Breville Halo Air Fryer VDF127
I purchased a Breville® Halo Rotisserie Air Fryer Oven VDF127 in December 2022, which has since developed an issue with the Door Seal. The Door can be easily detached and removed, so I naively assumed by replacing the Door component in its entirety would resolve this relatively simple problem. Having contacted Breville Customer Services, and after an prolonged and unjustified delay of 13 days awaiting a final response from the Company, I have been informed that replacement components are not available for this Appliance, notwithstanding the fact that the Halo Air Fryer remains a current model, and is still freely available to purchase in various retail outlets!! I am afraid that the Breville "Halo" has well and truly dropped in this instance, and I would have to seriously think more than twice about purchasing any Breville Products from this unreliable and lacklustre Manufacturer in the future!!
I bought a one cup kettle a year ago
I bought a one cup kettle a year ago. The water started to taste strange it smelt awful. I looked up descaling and did it thoroughly. A couple of weeks later it was the same again. I contacted Amazon who contacted Breville who sent me a reference no. They finally got in touch two days ago telling me to follow descale instructions again. I believe there is a health risk to this product and emailed them to that effect. Regardless of the outcome if and when they reply I will not be using it.
